Fun little place to relax on a summer night… or a winter night for that matter. They are one of the few businesses that stay open year round and are serving up yummy spirits. The staff here has always been friendly, but shorthanded. Each time I go I see a bartender mixing and mixing and mixing. it seems as though they need 8 arms to get the drinks out fast enough. The downside… no credit cards… knock, knock. .it’s 2015, can I come in?

The biggest draw to the porchside bar? The piano nights. 2 very good artists take over PTown’s fun loving crowd who seek some chilling time to relax and unwind with a good mix of a crowd. In the lobby of the inn is where the music flows every night starting at 10pm till 1 when the bar closes. Both Doug and Billy — given how different each is from the other — are such great and genuine entertainers. I recommend this place squarely because of these guys. The bar itself is quite good. Divided into 2 parts, the main section opens at 5pm. Has an L shaped bar with kind bartenders who seem to have been there forever and do an excellent job of fixing some great drinks. The space has a great ambiance with a faux fireplace, interesting art on the walls, a pool table and a video game console. I stayed away from the pool table and the console because I was busy enjoying the vocal stylings being rendered at the piano. This place absolutely falls in the hidden gem category for anyone who doesn’t know PTown well enough. 5 stars.

I love this bar. Cozy fire, free pool table and generous pours on the drinks. I’m definitely glad we stayed at the Gifford Inn

What a great place for a summer drink. Good crowd, friendly staff and stiff drinks make this a definite stop on any evening out in Provincetown.
