If you’re looking for a Spotify playlist this is the place for you. There is no real dj, just an old man who knows how to click play. The music is disappointing and the atmosphere no better. While in P Town you can do better.

If you have never been to Provincetown, check it out. If you want to dance your ass off, check it out. Other than that you’ll definitely, find better drinks for your dollar elsewhere. Be prepared for Very SMALL $ 10-$ 15 «thimble sized drinks.» Along with a $ 10 cover to get in.

The website for this bar talks about how EVERYONE is excepted yet my friends and I weren’t allowed in because the«gate keeper» stated that it was a gay bar for gay men only. We tried to go back the next night when it was less crowded and she stated that she didn’t like our attitudes and that there wasn’t enough security to handle us even though we didn’t even say one word. If this was advertised as a gay club for gay men only then I would understand this behavior. Instead it seemed like the woman had a huge chip on her shoulder and wanted to take it out on any woman who tried to get into her club.

Pretty chill place, nice bartenders and a popular night scene. Dance floor doesn’t blow up until late(past 1130) during the week at least. Keep in mind the upstairs bar«macho bar» is a gay sex bar(leather bar). Playing gay porno, condoms in bowls on the counter, people exchanging bjs in the dark corners… The boys get angry when you ask too many questions and no girls are allowed upstairs so avoid this part of the establishment if anonymous public gay sex isn’t your thing… drinks are average price for P-town, everyone in the downstairs bar was friendly and having a lot of fun. No A/C

.Went here with my husband during our 2nd honeymoon vacation. We had a blast! There are essentailly three bars. The one downstairs, which is small laid back and fun(they served in plastic cups, but the drinks are still strong and good), the one upstairs from there which has a much more sexual nature(porn on the tv and guys doing things in the corners of the dark room), and the club which has a cover, but is more than worth it to dance on the floor with my hubby and all the other guys having a great time! I would recomend a jack and coke or a gin and tonight. The bartenders were also very friendly as was the woman outside the club checking IDs and taking covers! We will definitly go back for more drinks and more dancing.

Heheheheheh. The A-house. OH the A-house. My recommendation? Start off in the dark, divey downstairs bar(gets busy after 10) and graduate to the dance floor(gets lively around midnight). A real mixture of friendly and completely bitchy staff, which always makes for a hilarious evening. Bottom line? Everyone ends up at the A-house for a boogie — so if its slow to start with — hang around… that won’t last forever.

Came here on a Thursday night during Carnival week. This place is super happening. When we arrived it was starting to get crowded but by midnight you could hardly move in this place. The dance floor gets incredibly packed. Drinks are nice and strong and the bartenders friendly.

The absolute worst in all of Provincetown! Their top shelf vodka includes smirnoff and pinnacle, for a cocktail charge of $ 9+. Naturally it is served in plastic, because the constant state of chaos would cause glass to break every 15 seconds. I’ve been multiple times, but not for a very long time. I have always received very rude service and was treated like a waste of their time, even though I was dropping money left and right. My major grip about this place: I attended a show that they were hosting here, with a friend of mine and we each paid $ 15 to gain access. Even though we were fine with«standing room only» and had every intention to do so, after 6 minutes of being inside the building, we were told that they were over capacity and unfortunately we would have to leave. The show had not started yet, I had yet to order a cocktail — so I wanted my money back! As we approached the door-staff that had taken our money only moments before, she didn’t seem to remember us. This is even more unnerving because I have a residence here in town and at most places have a «Towny Pass» that gets me free admission to the bars. and I’ve seen this woman dozens of times. Anyway… we were denied the refund of our cover charge. They decided to stay on their high horse and arrogantly inform us that«They are the A House and don’t need to refund anyone’s money». Well, I definitely don’t need to go back. I was even more frustrated when the door staff then began to snicker and mumble under their breaths about us. The bathrooms are plastered with porn magazine clippings looking to have derived from the mid 70’s and the doors are that which you would find in a western saloon, no privacy whatsoever. They don’t accept credit cards, another hassle to leave the building and pay a fee to use the ATM — we all know why certain business choose to only accept cash. I avoid the alley this place is located in at all costs. Far too many bars/clubs in the immediate area to put up with this nonsense.

A-House… Oh how drunk you made me! Seriously, the drinks are 98% alcohol, 1% ice, and 1% mixer. The first sip might taste just you straight-up tipped the bottle into your mouth, but you get use to it. In the main room there are 3 separate bars, and outside there are an additional 3 bars. You don’t have to wait for a drink, and both nights we went the bartenders remembered our orders and all we had to say was«another round»! It rocked! Bartenders in underwear is usually pretty cool — but the one was a little scary… The Gaucho from Uruguay. His junk was massive, and not in a cool way! The music was pretty good, mostly house with a bit of funk spun in. The dance floor went from 3 dancers to 100 in less than 10 minutes. Lots of sweaty half naked guys, very few lesbians…

I’ve been going to Ptown since I was a kid and always have had a good time. Was there for my bachelorette party last night. The AC was recommended to us by several people that this is the best place to dance and get drinks. Nope, not even close to the door and Wonderwoman took one look at us and said we’re not allowed to come in. She said there’s not enough security to handle us. What does that even mean? If this is the best place to go out I suppose you have to look a certain way to get in. Discrimination much?
