I am NOT a dancer. I was dragged into it. If I had been forced into any other venue, any other group of people, I would have put up a fight. But everyone there is amazing! Now I go every week! I feel like I can show up alone and walk away with a bunch of new friends as well as see a lot of people I’ve gotten to know and love. The teachers are amazing and always willing to help. The music is FANTASTIC! The venue is lovely and tasty. Everyone is willing to dance and it has been a blast getting to dance with so many people. Never thought I’d say it, but maybe, one day, I’ll consider myself a blues dancer. Guess we’ll see :)
But to sum up, go to Light Blues! It’s the perfect place to fall in love.

I’ve been to the other blues venues that have happened around Provo and this one is by far my favorite. The lessons were easy to pick up and the atmosphere is very welcoming. It is a great mix of newbies to those who have been dancing for years. If you want to start getting into the dancing world this is the place to start.
I think the only real negatives are the crowding and they are dealing with that by opening up the other side of the restaurant for dancing just as things really start to get crowded.
