Guru’s has great, healthy options. There’s a plethora of choices, so there’s something for everyone. The lemonade is delicious.

My goodness, I love this place! First of all, their wonderful staff is always friendly and hospitable. I enjoy just about everything on their menu, and when I had a food allergy issue they remade my meal for me with no questions asked. Much appreciated! Can’t wait until I have an excuse to be all the way down in Provo to go here again.

Loved the ambience, but it wasn’t my cup of tea. The food was good(we ordered the stuffed french toast) but it was a little too sweet for me.

Came for brunch. Nice hipster vibe with inside displays… Comfortable seating… Food ordering was simple and they were able to switch from sausage to veggie patty … Fresh squeezed lime juice was great… French toast is probably best I tasted … Crunchy nutty and yet it’s not soggy … They checked for water and asked about what I had plans for the day… Nice touch to give a personalized feeling… should try it…

My wife and I decided to make a foray to one of the many restaurants on Center St near University Ave. We walked into Guru’s and we’re impressed by the eclectic ambiance. Open ceiling with track lighting and sky murals on the East and West walls. Using bronzed metal statues of trees, a metal sun, moon, and planet mobile to give off Indian or East Asia vibe. We both ordered a bowl of coconut squash soup which turned out to be too spicy for my taste. The soup was good initially but I got bored with no other flavors to blend with overwhelming curry flavor. I also ordered the peanut Thai noodles which again was spicier than expected. However, the flavors of the peanut sauce blended well with the zucchini slices, peanuts, chicken, sweet peas, and noodles. I would recommend it to anyone without a peanut allergy. My wife ordered the Guru salad and unfortunately was unimpressed with the lack of flavor throughout.

Everyone was right about the sweet potato fries. They’re perfect! There’s something for everyone on this menu. I really appreciated the sign they had up front for people with nut allergies. A little cramped when there’s a lot of people and waiters trying to walk around and read table numbers.

We’ve always had great luck at Gurus. The sweet potato fries and quesadillas are why we go. It’s not the least expensive meal, but it’s worth every penny.

This is the best breakfast in the valley. Everything we have ever eaten here was AMAZING. Highly recommended.

I came at around 9:30pm ish. There was a sign that said open and we couldnt figure out what time they closed so we just went in. The food was a bit too plain for us. The rice in my husband’s burrito was cold and hard, and the salad i got had no flavor… The staff were ok. Felt like they just wanted us to leave so they could go home. Maybe we came in at a bad time, or maybe they are always like that. Who knows.

A bit overpriced, but mostly good. I like the fish tacos, they literally have a whole filet of fish in them. Its always full of loud college kids. The service is disappointing. All of the employees have this weird attitude like I’m lucky to be served by them. But that’s what I get for eating at the trendy college place.

I can definitely say this has been one of my favorite meals. I am visiting Provo and I took my family out to lunch with a few friends. We all ordered different things, I got the Tofu Wrap for vegans and I couldn’t believe how satisfying and filling it was. As a vegan I don’t really have many filling meals but this one definitely was served well. Great costumer service as well, although employees were young, they served with such respect and professionalism that I didn’t mind at all. The vibe and ambiance of the place was so nice and calming, I felt so at home and welcome as soon as I waked in. Really couldn’t have had a better day, mostly because I had a great meal to go with it. Provo was not a disappointment and gurus café was more than expected.

Great quesadillas and sweet potato fries. The annoying thing is that they ask for a tip and it makes most people feel uncomfortable. They are only bringing you the food and that’s it. If they took the tipping thing away they would get 5 stars. And take feta off the lime quesadilla, it ruins it.

We were visiting our kids who are attending school at BYU and they wanted to go to Gurus and since there aren’t too many amazing eateries in the Provo area we thought we would give this a try. We were really impressed! To start, the restaurant is really well designed/decorated. The tables have these really cool copper tops and along the walls there is this large bench so you can slide enough tables together to fit any size party. We started with the sweet potato fries as an appetizer. I’ve had plenty of sweet potato fries in the past but these were definitely a cut above. Well seasoned(I have no idea what with) and came with a really good fry sauce. Would DEFINITELY recommend… Fish tacos were really good. The beef tacos were good but not inspiring. Our youngest had the chicken burrito and while he is a 13 yr old boy, he is picky(unlike most 13 yr old males), and he just loved it. He actually ate the whole thing! The vegetarian curry was a great option for our vegetarian daughter. She really enjoyed it. This will definitely be on our list to try again next time we visit.

VIBES. This place is the shiz. When I come here I can always expect great service and delicious food. If you come here you HAVE to get the sweet potato fries. Literally the best I’ve ever tasted. The quesadillas and soup and pasta are also always on point. They usually have some fun little shows going on as well, and dancing next door. My fiancé always like to come here and just unwind and get a smörgåsbord of options. Last night we came in 20 minutes before closing and the employees were so nice to get us all our food without complaints. I love that! They got our food out fast and the lady who helped us was very friendly. Now that’s good customer service. A great place to make a regular visit.

I really enjoyed my meal here. I ordered a burrito – fairly standard fair at many a Mexican restaurant. This was just a step above the rest. Unique, and high quality. There are a lot of Mexican options on the menu, but it’s a bit more eclectic than that. It’s got what looks like a great breakfast menu, sandwiches, and pizza, making it an eclectic option. Nice setting. My 6-year-old enjoyed her kids meal. This will be on my list of good casual eateries the next time I’m in the Provo are.

Is it good? Yeah. Do I like to eat there? Yeah. Is it 5 star worthy? No. Why not? Because that’s not their goal. Look. I like the place. Love the way it runs. Some dishes are good, some other ones are just alright. I believe this place requires experimentation. If you hate a dish you pick, then pick something else, odds are you’ll end up liking it. Some fan favorites are the quesadillas. In my opinion, it is not good. They may suggest it, but don’t do it. Just go with your gut. My recommendations: Thai Pasta Southwest Wrap. Any pasta and then ask them to switch the noodles out for veggies. Makes it healthier and more flavorful. Keep it up Gurus.

Ordered a wrap and a salad to share between myself and my boyfriend as well as a large order of the sweet potato fries. The portions are pretty hefty, and it’s on the healthier side for the most part. I wasn’t blown away by my meal, but it’s pretty decent if you’re lazy and looking for an A-OK salad. The sweet fries are the star at this place, and I would definitely go again, just for those.

Guru’s serves a great healthier option to many other places in Provo. It is a bit more pricey, but you are paying for higher quality ingredients. Some things in the menu are wonderful, and others I haven’t been so impressed by, so you’ll have to see what you like, but it’s definitely worth trying out. Popular: their sweet potato fries are very very good

Guru’s is a three star joint. Not four. Not two. Just a solid three. Everything is pretty good but definitely not outstanding – except the Sweet Potato Fries that stole the show. Grabbed lunch with friends here a few days ago. The place was fairly packed, but the line moved fast and our food came quickly – though the rest of the table had to wait a bit longer, even the ones who ordered before us. The gf and I shared a Southwestern Salad and Steak & Bleu Cheese Wrap. They were aight. We finished the wrap but had no chance with the salad. It’s a big one. The large order of Sweet Potato Fries was for the table and became an instant hit. Everybody was grabbing handfuls and dunking them in the #frysauce and going back for more. I regret sharing them. Prices are a bit high for a Provo spot. Lunch for two in P-town is rarely more than $ 30, so I was a bit surprised. Still, decent. Three stars.

I decided to give Guru’s another try and I had a better experience. The food overall is still good, but not great, apart from the delicious sweet potato fries(I could eat those all day). However, this time around the staff were all really nice and helpful, and gave some good recommendations. My husband got the french dip and that was pretty tasty, especially the au jus, very flavorful. I tried the chicken teriyaki rice bowl, and it was better than the thai peanut for sure, but still needed more rice. I really do love the overall atmosphere of the restaurant and it is nice place to hang out.
