I expect Molly’s to be yet another local«diner». Boy was I wrong. This is Sunday dinner my mom made many years ago. That’s both good and bad. The vegetables are cooked for as many hours as the meat with the braised meat. So, the veg is mushy. However, that’s what mom did, and it tastes OK. The salad and dressing was first class. The mashed potatoes are just what I grew up with. It’s «real» gravy. It uses the same shortcuts mom did. It’s obviously thickened with cornstarch, or similar, rather than making a roux. I’m really OK with all that. The clientele when I was there was slanted to the older side life. They exceed what they are tell you they are going to do. Everyone was friendly. The place is clean. We are constantly looking for a place that isn’t a chain and serves food my 88 year old parents find comfortable. This place has it in spades, and will enter regular rotation when taking them out. It will also be regular for me when I don’t want to cook and don’t want fast food. Molly’s could easily be mediocre cafeteria food. Instead it’s quality comfort food.

Molly’s is lunch on a Sunday afternoon at grandmas house. I can’t sum it up any better or make it any more delightful. Wife got the pulled chicken and I got the chicken pot pie. You can feel the love that goes into every ingredient all homemade and not processed. I quote my wife in saying every part of our meal was delicious. The lemonade as amazing and so was the Chocolate caramel cake/better than sex cake. Amazing!

Molly’s truly is Provo’s hidden gem. Molly’s is home style food, served cafeteria style. They are first and foremost a catering company, and they just kind enough to bless us with their 4 days a week of service. They are open from 11 – 2 Tuesday-Friday. And Friday night they open at 5 pm! Because they are a catering company, everything is delicious. My husband and I love the French checking and the pot roast. We get it with carrots from the roast and mashed potatoes. Also any meal comes with a roll or cheese biscuit. It’s so good. But go as early as you can, because the French chicken and other favorites sell out fast. Molly’s is always packed, and it can occasionally be hard to find a table. Every dessert we have tried there is amazing, and the lemonade is to die for. It’s different than regular lemonade. Try it. This is one of our favorite places to go, and I hope you try it too! There’s no other restaurant like it in Utah County!

I love this place. The food is always delicious and never fails to satisfy! My favorite is the pulled pork and Dutch oven potatoes, and always get the lemonade– it is seriously delicious! The people there are incredibly friendly and although there is always a line, it goes pretty quickly.

This place is so yummy. Why has it taken me so long to try it? I went during the lunch hour and it was busy. The food is served cafeteria style. I had the roasted pork with carrots, delicious. I had a tossed salad for my side with the house tomato ranch dressing. The salad dressing was so flavorful, I ended up dipping my pork in it. The place was crowded and busy but so worth it to eat here. I will be back. I have got to try more of the menu.

Stopped here for lunch on the way to the airport after a week in Moab. Great food and service. Brisket, ribs and salad were all delicious. Don’t worry if the line appears long. After you get your food, tables will free up and the tables get cleaned up quickly.

Best food in Utah County! I love this place. I have visited here several times when we visit Utah. I have had several different meals here, and they are all superb! Today I had the Smoked Turkey with Dutch Oven Potatoes, Green Beans, and an extra side of their Pear/Gorgonzola Salad. And their Cheddar Biscuits are amazing, especially right out of the oven. The turkey was smokey, juicy and tender. The Dutch Oven Potatoes were amazing and cheesy. The Green Beans were not overcooked as most places do, and the salad was so flavorful. My sister had a piece of chocolate cake which was simply amazing. They have never disappointed. They also cater.

Every time we go to Molly’s we’ve enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It tastes like Sunday dinner at my Grandma’s when I was growing up. The employees are always pleasant, and the food is basic — no frills, yet delicious. The price is reasonable and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. I highly recommend, especially if you’re hungry!

Great food. Good service. Cafeteria style walk through. Tables are close together which, along with the wood trim, gives it a homey feel. We ordered braised pork roast with mash potatoes, dark gravy, carrots, and green beans, and brisket with mash potatoes and white gravy. All of it was excellent. Like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. I liked the dinner roll more than the cheese bread.

This place is so delicious and the people are so great. You can really eat anything and it will be good, just make sure not to sell your self short and get yourself a dessert. I love their cakes!

This place is like Sunday dinner comfort food every day of the week. I love going on Tuesdays for the meatloaf.amazing. The pot roast is so tender and flavorful. All their meats are fantastic, although sometimes the chicken can be dry. The potatoes, cheddar biscuits, good selection of veggies and salads… can’t say enough, it all tastes amazing, can’t go wrong with any menu item. The tomato basil pie blew me away. The service is always excellent. It does feel a bit like a ward party in there, but the food is worth it. Only wish they were open more hours.

Saw Molly’s here while looking for a breakfast spot. Didn’t make it for breakfast, but found it for lunch, and loved it. Great selection of home cooked meals, varies daily. I had the pot roast beef with carrots. Fork tender, especially tasty carrots, au gratin potatoes, Caesar salad. They made me wait for the salad, as it was the bottom of the dish and insisted I got the fresh batch!

What a lovely and fantastic place! I’m definitely a fan of anything that has lemonade in those wedding spout pitchers. And this place HASIT. And it’s FANTASTIC! I’ve heard rave reviews about Molly’s from my parents, my coworkers and my Unilocal friends, but never had a chance to actually make it there. Finally, we decided to hit it up for work lunch after a particularly gruesome meeting. It was perfect. I ordered the daily special chicken pot pie with a side of dutch oven potatoes, cheddar biscuit and a salted caramel cookie. carbs on carbs on carbs. I don’t care. Starch and carbs are the best friends I’ve ever had. I topped it all off with house-made lemonade. The potatoes were to die for. Like I wanna go back and just eat the potatoes. They were so good. I wanted to try some of the barbeque sauces that were on the table so I put a little bit on a potato and fell in love. It was so good. The sauce is crazy. The potatoes were even crazier. Someone call the ambulance because I am stark raving mad for these potatoes/bbq sauce. The pot pie was delightful, although not my favorite of all time. I can’t pinpoint exactly why I didn’t want to lose my cool over it(maybe the cream sauce?), but I stayed super cool while eating it. It filled me up and gave me some warm fuzzies afterwards too. The cookie was decent. I wish they had warmed them or something, but alas, who am I to ask for this much? HOWEVER, it was the perfect amount of sweet and salty. I find that most«salted caramel» things is just caramel with a fancy name to attract the foodie hipsters, but this thing was actually salted and it was damn beautiful. Great place. Great vibe. Amazing food and LEMONADE! GO!

A limited menu but what they do, they do VERY well! They serve very nicely done American fare — the beef brisket is exceptional, and our favorite.

This places does not and will not disappoint. I have been here enough to truly say that everything on the menu is delicious. Sure it isn’t the most innovative food fare but who cares. It is simple and easy down home cooking. Every time I’m here I feel like I’m eating a delicious Sunday dinner at home. The chicken dishes are great, their gravy is great, the pulled pork is delicious too. All of their sides are EXTREMELY fresh. I love their spinach salad and the Dutch oven potatoes. They are only open for dinner on Fridays and maybe Saturday so watch for that.

Best BBQ I’ve had in such a long time. The pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw was so mouthwatering. And the green beans and mashed potatoes with pot roast gravy are just… sigh. So go!!!

«Oh, Molly, stop! Please! I’m a married man, and my girlfriend is watching us through the window!» «Your girlfriend is a motorcycle.» she protested. «Yeah, but still jealous.» It was hard to protest. Molly knows her stuff. She smells like a smoke pit, and the pork is soft and sweet. Her brisket comes in «lean» or «marbled»(I know what that means!) Her large, voluptuous rolls are airy and light. There are vegetables. Even late into lunch time the dining area is clean, except for the imaginary meat hussy throwing herself at me. It’s a nice place, and the food is made for the comfort crowd – nothing too zaney or strong, It’s good, mellow, food; bring your own zaney.

This is my favorite place to eat in Provo! It just treats me right. All of the food has a true, home-cooked meal feel and is all very delicious. They usually have a special going depending on what day you go. The employees are always smiling and they really go out of their way to take care of their customers. Their hours are limited… Tues-Fri for lunch 11am-2pm and Friday evenings for Dinner 5pm-830pm. If you haven’t tried Molly’s you are missing out.
