I’m surprised at all of these positive reviews. I stopped here on my first trip to Provo(after moving to SLC almost two years ago) with my mother who was visiting from out of state. We were both sorely disappointed. In fact, I thought this might be the worst food I’ve had so far since moving to Utah.(And that’s saying a lot as I generally find the food here to be mediocre.) I got the«Satisfier»(chicken breast with pepper jack). I left anything but satisfied. The roll had no flavor and was too soft — so soft that it literally fell apart while eating. Hoagie/sub rolls need some amount of heft to them and are not to be devoid of flavor. The sandwich would have been better on some Wonder Bread — it would have at least held together. The cheese and meat were fine, but nothing to write home about. The lettuce was bargain iceberg shredded lettuce, was soggy, and tasted like it had been sharing a surface with onions for quite awhile.(I did not order any onions on my sandwich, for the record.) My mother got a «salad». Now, a salad here is not actually a salad. It was simply a deconstructed hoagie. The lettuce was soggy and flavorless. The meat and cheese were again passable, but when you order a salad you might expect to have some kind of a crunch or flavor from the base greens in that salad. Not so with this place. How you can just throw the insides of a sandwich in a Styrofoam container and call it a «salad» is beyond me. Now, mind you, I am originally from the Greater Philadelphia area where you can get a solid hoagie from your local Wawa for less than $ 5. My standards for sandwiches might be a little higher than out here in the Mountain West. But, I don’t consider myself a food snob and I am generally a big fan of sandwiches. I mean — really, it’s bread and limitless options for fillings… what’s not to like? I’d recommend anyone who actually enjoys eating sandwiches to steer clear of Sensuous Sandwich. Surely there has got to be a more satisfying lunch experience elsewhere in Provo.

Best subs in Utah. They are exceptional every time. I have lunched here at least 30 times over the years. Great service great food.

Wanting to try a sandwhich shop that is not subway, I saw this little shop. The place looks small but the inside is long. The walls and place remind of mom and pop shops from the 80’s. The staff is super friendly. And the food… you get to pick how long and what type of sandwhich you want from 4 inches to 24 inches. The bread was soft and fresh, the meat was a plenty. I got the beef dip type sandwhich and had to get one to go for later. From the welcoming staff to amazing food I highly suggest this place.

Sensuous Sandwich, I’ve missed you. I used to work in Orem, with a Sensuous Sandwich just down the street. Then we moved the office to Lehi, a destination filled with chains. We’ve got 3 different, mediocre sandwich chains at point of the mountain now. I’d gladly trade all 3 of them for a Sensuous Sandwich. We came in with a hunger around 3PM. I went with my go to, The Tantalizer. Roast Beef, Pastrami, Turkey and Jack cheese. I put some lettuce, pickles, olives, banana peppers and a few sauces on it. Paid, picked up my small(baby small) drink, and took a booth. The booths are great, each one has different comics under the glass to read. It gives the place a unique charm. The food came out quick and I took a bite. Every ingredient here feels so good… it just makes you wonder what the other guys are using. Every bite is juicy, fresh, and just pure happiness. On top of that, it’s so much more filling than the other guys. They LOAD your sandwich with everything you ordered. An 8 inch here fills me up much more than the footlong sizes at other restaurants. The prices are reasonable too. Overall it’s just a great sandwich. I would go as far to say it’s the best sandwich. Ever. I can’t think of a better sandwich. I’m not much of a sandwich person, but I really do love the sandwiches here.

The food is amazing but the hours suck. Sensuous seems to never be open when I go there. I am a student at BYU and would be there all the time if it didn’t close at 8:00… Love the food though.

I cannot find another sandwich place as good as this. I wish they could mail me a sandwich. Excellent sandwich place.

Sensous is a great sandwhich place for lunch. I love the variety of sizes they have, it’s not your standard 12 inch or 6 inch options. They have many options with increments of 2 inches each(if I remember correctly). Whether I’m really hungry or just want a small lunch, they have the right size for it. The deli meat is my other favorite thing here. I like that it is thin and they pile it on, rather than thick cuts. In my opinion, that’s how deli meat should be and is best that way. They have a lot of sandwhiches you can order, or you can simply build your own. Best sandwhich place in the area, really good!

Very disappointed in this place. I was not impressed with their subs. I could make these sandwiches at home. They are bland and lack flavor. It’s good for a quick bite but not anywhere near senuous.

Standard sub shop. They do have bigger subs than subway and the likes bit it’s just to generic for me. Service is ok. Overall there is nothing really special about it.

Been coming here for decades. Great sandwiches and I can read the comics while I eat. I don’t always have a chance to get back to Provo, but when I do, Sensuous Sandwich is a must.

I LOVE this place! The bread is really soft, and there are a ton of fresh toppings. Their new location makes it even better, it’s nice and updated. I always force my family to eat here when we’re visiting orem /provo.

My wife and I got an enticer and found it was much, much less than enticing. A very normal run of the mill sandwich which the employees refused to split. If you share a sandwich you can’t get different toppings on the sandwich. Instead, they put all toppings in rolled up sheets of paper. For some reason, they cant actually put them on the sandwich. Anyways, this retaurant won’t be ‘enticing’ me much in the near future.

Living in Pennsylvania for a time gave me a good perspective on sandwiches. This place does it right. They pile on the meat for you with all the toppings. Good prices too!

The bread is not great the sandwiches is not put together that while. Yes and toasted they just heated up in the microwave. Looks very rundown needs a little bit of a make up. But it is nice and cheap for pricing.

A MUSTTRY. Best sub sandwich place I have ever been to. Quality. Character. Customer service. Taste. Price. All of these things set Sensuous Sandwich apart from other sandwich places. It’s local to Provo and is a landmark on Center Street.

My favorite sandwich shop anywhere. The 1980s décor hasn’t changed, and I love reading Far Side and Calvin and Hobbes comics while I’m eating. I also love that I can buy my sandwich in 2″ increments. The bread is always incredibly soft, meat portions are generous, and they have all the ingredients that I love. I will never get my picture on the wall for eating a 24″ sandwich in under 30 minutes because I like to eat these slow and savor each bite. Also I can’t possibly eat 24″ in one sitting, but that’s beside the point.

Been going here for over 20 years, always the place we choose for sandwiches. fun atmosphere and there’s a 2 foot sandwich challenge with pictures of all the winners on the wall(mine included). Fresh ingredients and very fast. Nothing fancy but just good sandwiches .What else can I say.

I love Sensuous soooooooo ridiculously much. I have never once had a bad experience there. The staff has always been fast, kind, and patient. I love the dive-y atmosphere of it too. It brings back seriously fun memories of being a kid. The comic strips on the tables is so cute and fun, it makes it hard to leave. Great sandwiches with fresh ingredients. My only complaint is the fact that the drink sizes are seriously way off. I ordered a medium and was shocked when I was handed what looked like an 8oz cup. Maybe I’m used to the new American«64 oz is a large, not an XXL anymore» mentality. But wow.
