Great place all around. The food is amazing which means they’re popular but we’re always seated quickly. Very accommodating to families with small children, they give out little stuffed bears to the little ones. The owner and staff are great people, very friendly and on top of their game. I don’t go anywhere else for breakfast and look forward to it everytime!

Bill’s is the best breakfast in town. They have a wide variety of items and a good amount of specials. And, rare for CT, they offer REAL maple syrup! My favorites include the sausage patty, hash browns, and BLT. Service is always quick and friendly.

Based on the Unilocal reviews we were excited to try this place but unfortunately it wasn’t all that great. Our food took awhile to come out and the menu was very basic. The coffee wasn’t very good at all even though their flavors sounded enticing. Prices were decent. Probably wouldn’t come here again.

Excellent service. Delicious food. A bit pricey, but it’s worth it. Stop in for breakfast. Have some great bread. Have a coffee/tea/cocoa.

Fine spot for a basic breakfast stop with very good food, larger than needed portions and adequate service, at least on a less busy mid week morning. We went with the Philly cheese steak omelette and the roasted red peppers and portobello omelette, each served with your choice of cheese and accompanied by hash browns or home fries and toast. Uninspiring décor.

Came in on a Saturday for a light breakfast. I got there just before it started to get busy. Thinking small, I decided to go with a breakfast sandwich with eggs, ham and cheese. Saw an option to add some homemade hash so I went that route as well. The waitress was all smiles and friendly. The food came out and was I surprised! The sandwich was not small. Great homemade english muffin, large slice of ham. The sandwich was great and the hash was amazing. I had the opprotunity to meet the owner and he was an incredible guy. If you are in Putnam, you need to have a bite at Bills.

Overrated. This place is fine. The food is basic breakfast fare with nothing special or awful about it. I’ve never left Bill’s feeling amazed or excited, but it’s what you would expect if you are looking for just a plain breakfast. The wait staff are polite, but the wait is always WAY too long, especially for breakfast. I often come here after trail runs with my running group and we always end up waiting for 45 minutes or so(on the shortest wait days) and it’s just eggs and pancakes. We have started going elsewhere.

Stopped here for a pit stop on the way to Mohegan Sun. Saw it had great Unilocal reviews so were expecting big things and boy did Bills deliver. We got the smoked salmon benedict, the homemade hash, scrambled eggs, side of bacon and the waffles with fruit on top. All breakfast perfection. My friend who got the scrambled eggs actually exclaimed«I didn’t know plain scrambled eggs can be this good. These might be the best eggs I ever had». Go there. Do it.

Have only eaten lunch there so far. Even though the giant muffins and pastries tempt me when I go in there. I work nearby. Everything I’ve had so far is great.

Love this place! Went here for breakfast on Sunday. There was a line to get in at 10:00am. It took about 15 minutes and we were seated. Waitress was fast, polite, and efficient. I ordered a three egg, western omelet, with added bacon and mushrooms, and American cheese, hash browns, and a grilled English muffin. My mom had the vege omelet with pepper jack cheese, hash browns, a grilled English muffin and coffee for us both. The place was packed but our food came quickly. It was hot and delicious. We both finished just about everything on our plates. It was a terrific breakfast. We both loved our meals. My omelet was a little spendy after the additions but other then that I have nothing bad to say about this place. I even accidentally spilled my coffee on the table and the waitress brought a bunch of napkins to me to quickly clean it up. They have a display case of homemade muffins here, all different kinds that looked delicious too, and that you can order grilled with your meal as well. We didn’t get one but I saw several other folks that did. Next time I’m going to order one. I have tried then before on precious visits and they are delicious as well. This is my favorite go to breakfast place when in Mass.

Golf rained out so we stopped here. GREAT place with excellent service. Loved the breakfast wrap and homemade hash. Waitress was fantastic. I will be back when I’m in town.

it boggles my mind that i have lived in pomfret for just over a year now, and today was my first experience here. my boyfriend and i rolled in around 11:15, in time for both breakfast and lunch. the space is bigger than i imagined, with a good mix of booths and tables. service is friendly and prompt. we were told to sit wherever we liked and were brought menus. we both had a cup of the coffee of the month: hawaiian coconut, which was wonderfully nutty and smooth. i also had a cup of coffee milk which had great coffee flavor without being too sweet. for breakfast, we definitely over-ordered, but it was so worth it. my boyfriend ordered bill’s big breakfast: 2 eggs(he got them scrambled), hash browns, bacon, english muffin, and french toast. everything was cooked to his liking, and the flavor was great. these were basic items, all done very well. because i’m typically not a breakfast person, i actually mixed a bit of the two menus. soup specials today were cheeseburger and creamy cajun chicken. i’ve had cheeseburger soup multiple places and it’s typically either a tomatoey broth with cheeseburger components, or liquid cheese with cheeseburger components. theirs is broth-based, so i went with the creamy cajun chicken. this had wonderful texture, and the flavor was great, very forward and fresh with vegetables. for breakfast i ordered the crab cake benedict along with a side of homemade corned beef hash and turkey links. the crab cakes were creamy and full of fresh crab flavor. the homemade english muffin IS as good as everyone says, and the hollandaise was perfect. i ordered my corned beef hash well done, and it arrived perfectly griddled on the outside, and juicy on the inside.(note: when i ordered the hash, i was asked if i wanted canned or homemade. please– choose the homemade. it rivals anything inside a can, hands down.) turkey links were hot and juicy. our super-sized breakfast, including beverages, was about $ 35. i think if you order more modestly than we did, you’ll have a very affordable and tasty breakfast, complete with great service. we will most definitely be back.

Yummy muffins and had a good eggs and pancake breakfast(I ordered pecan, yogurt chips, and fresh raspberry pancakes). However, did not live up to my expectations from all the raving reviews. The location is not very pleasant. The breakfast was probably the best in the area(5 mile radius?), which is why the rave reviews, but not one of my top breakfast places, even compared to 15 mile radius.

Drove here from Rhody on the recommendation of our waitress from the English Muffin believe it or not. So glad we did. Decided to try it for Mother’s Day breakfast and definitely weren’t disappointed. They were slamming busy but we were only give a 20 minute wait for breakfast– ended up being sat in 15. The owner was super friendly and service was really good. The homemade muffins, homemade English muffins and shredded hash browns were the stars of the show. We had a table full of food and nowadays we don’t get out of breakfast for under $ 70 having 3 growing boys but the bill came in at $ 53 so we were happily surprised. We will definitely take the trip again when we’re in the mood for some great homemade breakfast.

WARNING; make sure you don’t eat for 12 full days before coming here. My wife and I were crying almost the entire time for a number of reasons. 1. Too many menu choices 2. The food portions were too big 3. Too much flavor in the pancakes and bfast sandwiches 4. muffins If you want to see your life flash before your eyes for under $ 10 a person, I strongly recommend Bills Bed and Breakfast. Also(side note) where are the freaking beds? Would have come in handy towards the end of our meal.

Good service — big portions — came here on recommendation. Home fries were cold, sausage patties in omelette were odd tasting but the links were awesome. Wheat toast is not traditional. Food was good but we didn’t try anything not traditionsl Will be back!

Excellent food, nice family atmosphere, highly recommended the portions are on the large side so bring the stretchy pants . The buttermilk pancakes are my favorite but they do have many different kinds of breakfast foods to fit anyone’s taste.

Crikey. This place is the real deal. Homemade(yeah!) English Muffins! I scoped this place out long before we went there on a Sunday for breakfast, around noon. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, which was completely worth it. Here’s what I had: two eggs over medium with cheddar on a grilled English muffin with a side of homemade hash and hash browns(the awesome kind that are shredded). Two of my companions had eggs benedict, one was with hash and the other traditional and lastly the wife had a GIGANTIC western omelet. The waitress was super sassy and adorable(Kristen, I believe). I cannot believe we left without buying something from the bakery. Fortunately my in-laws live nearby so the next time we’re in the nabe we will be coming home with a muffin or 6 and definitely some of the english muffins. If you’re in the area and are looking for a killer breakfast, you’ve gotta try Bill’s. You won’t regret it.

Stopped in for a solo Sunday brunch after a night at Foxwoods on the drive back to Boston. Pretty highly reviewed breakfast joint on Unilocal so I decided to stop by. It was a little too hectic once I sat down, what did I expect it is Sunday brunch. I ended up getting an apple spice muffin which was just alright, as was the blueberry iced coffee too. The standout was the Elvis muffin which contained peanut butter, bacon, and bananas.
