Would not go to this place. How can a young black man be jumped and beaten in the bathroom, requiring surgery. Big whiskey should be paying his Doctors bills. Big Whiskey Needs to be shut down …

Fun place no matter what day of the week! I went Thursday and they had 75 cent well drinks which were great! Friendly bartenders and free mechanical bull riding! people are helpful on the dance floor to learn the line dances for each song.

Tonight was a blast! We got there at 11, was still greated with positive energy. The bartender made excellent drinks, shots were great and the crowd was welcoming. The security was super helpful, which is rare. über ride was easy to get. I am a super picky B! tc# to please, but had a great time tonight and have to give it up to the workers where I never been before who worked hard tonight. I will bring my ladies night entourage here next time!!!

Fun bar, good vibes, good music. But A cover charge at a Puyallup bar? Come on. A well drink is 4.50 it comes in a plastic flimsy cup that is overflowing with ice with the cheapest liquor known to man. You charge for ice water at a bar, that’s crazy. Fix those three things and this is the joint.

Another new bar in Puyallup, always good thing. Maybe this isn’t my scene. Maybe I’m getting too old for clubs. Maybe I just don’t think this is a true honky tonk bar. First, I think it is garbage that they ‘have to have your phone number” to sign the waiver before you enter the bar. Just take people’s name and signature, the phone number is a gimmick. I understand signing a waiver for a mechanical bull, but you don’t need anymore info other then a name and signature. They did play good, fun music. The promoter was very funny. Drink specials were great. They had $ 4 Jameson shots, and 99 cent PBR. There is a outdoor smoking section. Coat check, and five dollar cover free for everyone. Sorry ladies no free admission. I do not think there is any food, strictly booze. But, our group went over to the loose wheel and grabbed some grub. It’s a short walk from this bar, and it worked out okay for us. Bar is pretty good size. The parking lot was full, but the bar didn’t feel cramped.

This place has potential but the $ 5 cover charge early is a little annoying. Bull riding is always a fun feature but nobody to help you on. Lots of line dancing which is fun unless you don’t know the dance. Drink prices are OK but after buying drinks all night long they wanna charge for water. This is a huge problem for me! Not sure how you serve alcohol and don’t offer free water! Hope this changes very soon!

Bar for the most part is dead. 5 $ cover. No food. Very little seating. They charge you a 1.50 for water.

5.00 cover before 9pm? Are you serious?!? For a DEAD bar on a Friday night?!? Crazy. Also– single shot drinks are 4.50, 9.00 for a double. In plastic flimsy cups. Dance floor is generous but the majority of the people here dance monotonous line dances while staring at their feet. It’s like robots out there. Maybe one or two having visible fun. More staff here than patrons for a large part Of the evening and yet I still had to washy hands repeatedly due to dirty bars/rails/tables :/bathrooms not attended throughout the night. Two girls at the door demanding your name and number«just in case» you ride they bull. Overall a nice dance floor if you like to go thru the motions, but drinks and cover are so overpriced it’s not worth it. The dj can’t Segway worth a poo and eventually just stared playing music videos in between the ads displayed all over the walls with projectors.

I visited on a Saturday night after hanging out at the local area bar next door. I was pretty amazed as the bar next door was super busy and then to find the Big Whiskey also super busy! The place is about half the size of Steel Creek. But the dance floor is not as stressful or ruled. The atmosphere was country and the feel of the place was very friendly and fun. That’s the big difference in clubbing with country music and other places BTW. The bar was not as large as I expected but who needs size? It was well staffed and the speed was better than any tapper game. I was amazed at how attentive they were on who was in line and/or who was next.. . even though people just went up to the bar, you knew it was going to be fair. The prices are very affordable. Probably the most affordable club I have ever been to since I am used to inflated club pricing. The outdoor patio they have available is also roomie and well done with heat and tables. The place is well thought out in architecture and feel. It was easy to navigate even though there were many people everywhere. The staff was friendly and with smiles while being really quick with requirements. Really can’t ask for more.
