Thank you, Blade-Tech Industries, for very quick turn around time of the holsters that I ordered. Order was placed on 8÷11÷2015 and received them on 8÷26÷2015. They are made to order(specifically for your type of firearm) so usually; there is a lead time of about 2 to 3 weeks. As with anything, first impression is the long and lasting impression. I was able to connect with a person via Facebook Messenger(before and after the order) and received and excellent and awesome service! Prior to placing the order, I was only 90% sure to order the holsters from Blade-Tech Industries since there are many other manufacturers, but after chatting with the person on the Facebook messenger, I was 100% sure that this is the company that I want to go with and trust my life, family, and weapons with. After all, holsters are meant to carry weapons, and weapons are meant to protect lifes. After opening the boxes, the holsters and magazine pouches(made to adjust the tension put on the magazines or on your specific firearm) fit like a pair of gloves. No adjustment needed unless you want to make it tighter. I did have a little trouble adjusting the belt size adjustment bar in the back but it was due to user error(me). I had an opportunity to get in contact with Tim Wegner, Founder of Blade-Tech Industries. He took time off of his busy schedule and answered some of my questions about the company, history, and the material that they used. Can you tell me a little about your background about you and the company? I founded Blade-Tech in 1982. In the beginning it was more a part time hobby than a business. I was working full time in the concrete industry. Being an avid hunter, I love guns and knives so in my spare time I began making custom knives, leather sheaths, and handgun holsters for my own use. By 1991, I had gained global recognition due to several key magazine articles highlighting his craft. Military personnel from around the world; including those stationed at nearby military bases, Ft Lewis and Mchord AFB now known as «Joint Base Lewis Mchord»; sought me out to make jump rated sheaths for their combat knives and other gear. This global recognition would open new doors and in early 1994, I was approached by the KA-BAR Company to design and build what would be the Industries’ first production Kydex® knife sheath for their new 21st Century Fighting knife. With the help of close friend Karl Zetterberg, I incorporated the company in 1995, and Blade-Tech became Blade-Tech Industries Inc. I promptly quit my longtime job and went full time with Blade-Tech. Six months later my friend and fellow concrete co-worker Tom Crawford joined me in my garage. We boast the largest firearms holster mold library in existence. In addition to our own line of products, we also manufacture OEM equipment and accessories for many of the Industries top firearms and cutlery companies, and several aerospace and defense contractors. We are a supplier to Law Enforcement agencies as well as to the U S Military, providing products to every branch including the Tier 1 Special Operations Units. * Of special note: Many of those Military hardware bids were spec’d out with Glocks being the primary firearms of choice paired with Blade-Tech Holsters and accessories as the main carry options. Our Tag Line«CARRYCONFIDENT» means just that, when you carry essential lifesaving tactical and outdoor equipment on daily basis you need to be confident that it will be there when you need it most in an emergency. In other words your gun or knife is only as good as the holster or sheath you carry it in. We primarily use two materials. One is our own proprietary thermoplastic sheet material that very similar to Kydex® or Boltaron®. We use it in various thicknesses from 0.060 to 0.187 depending on the type of product being made. I purchased the Pro-Series Competition Single Mag Pouch to see how it would work for me. I ordered it two months ago, knowing it would take some time. I received the mag holder and it looks great! I’ll be ordering a couple more for my mags. I agree with what Joe N. said about the company. Unlike Extreme Concealment Systems, which I ordered at the same time, I’m still waiting… If they don’t follow up on their timeline, I’m cancelling my order from ECS.

There are ALOT of companies out there, and even more options to choose from when you are looking for quality Kydex tactical gear. Between the outstanding, and friendly customer service(thanks Autumn!), and the first rate products that they produce– I will be a customer for life. When you also throw in the fact that blade tech supports the shooting competition sports community, and operators in the .mil/.gov/LE community with such a level of dedication– there is no other option for me. i bet my life on my gear, and im no weekend wannabe. i carry a firearm every day without exception. when im going into harm’s way– that weapon rides on my belt in a blade tech holster, with very few exceptions. Im also blown away by the speed at which they fill orders– less than 3 weeks for fully custom gear, at a fair price is hard to beat(18 – 20 weeks for comparable gear from raven, and more expensive). Thanks blade tech!
