Chubby Chubby Carpet Cleaner

This was my first time using Chubby Chubby Carpet Cleaner. Scheduling an appointment was easy. Matt and Pogi were assigned to clean our sofa and carpets. They were both very professional and helpful in move our furniture for us. They gave us tips and tricks on how to keep our floors looking their best. They both worked very hard to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I would recommend these to all my friends, family, military members, Veterans, and etc. Thank you both for taking care of home.

You started before 7:30 AM on a Sunday at my neighbors house. It’s been 90+ degrees and many of us sleep with our windows open. REALLY?!! Common sense is wait a little longer to start. Your van is LOUD! And yes this is me being passive aggressive on Unilocal

Horrible experience. I was instructed not to walk on the carpet because «it would lay down wrong» so I didn’t walk upstairs to check his work. After it was fairly dry I went upstairs to find several missed spots from my kids spills, not dirt rising after it dried, that were easily cleaned with my carpet cleaner. On top of paying for subpar work, in many places my carpet was ruined from tearing as seen in the added picture. I had my carpets professional cleaned to save time in prepping my house for sell and now I may have to have some carpeted areas replaced. Lesson learned, check the carpets before you pay!

John «Little Bear» was early to the appointment and went far above and beyond for us. I had no idea there was so much involved in cleaning carpets and carpet maintenance. He took great pride in his job and ensured that the floors looked brand new. Great value. I’ll be sure to use you guys yearly for my new place. Thanks John.

HORRIBLE experience!
We scheduled carpet stretching and cleaning. They were supposed to arrive today between 1 – 3. After calling them, we finally heard back at 5 and the guy said he didn’t know he was supposed to come, but he’d be here at 6:15.
Guy shows, and says «sorry, I didn’t look at my work order»
The second he walked in he said «oh, I smell dog. It’s really bad» and made a disgusted face. He proceeded to complain about the work that needed to be done saying, it wasn’t going to help and the stretching would leave gaps that he’d have to fill in and it wouldn’t be worth it.
He clearly did not want to do the work that we were quoted for and was trying to talk me out of it.
Well, it worked… I told him he could leave. I’ll be hiring a different company for the job.
He also felt the need to lecture me on how to look at carpeting when I buy a house to make sure it was installed properly so I wouldn’t have this problem.
This was the rudest and most insulting experience!

We were repeatedly contacted by this man asking to take the review down. He even offered us a gift card in trade to remove the review. I felt very nervous that this guy would show up at my house. We had the carpet done before selling this house, floors a lot in puyallup is who you want to call. They did a wonderful job with no problems.

My technician was JJ and he did an amazing job! My carpets had black stains all over it from our pet and from people walking on it!!! I was highly impressed by JJ’s professionalism and ability to bring my carpet back to life! I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking they need new carpets.

Just moved into my new home, and am looking to get my carpets clean, and just by the conversation I had with the owner I’m leaving this review! He was very knowledgeable and honest and would highly recommend!

Just bought out first home in puyallup and wanted to get our carpets clean and sanitary for your kids. Found chubby chubby and they sent out John he was very knowledgable and helpful. Taught me things about carpet and pet damage and made our sub par carpet sparkle. Fast and easy to work with 1 day turn around for scheduling. Used cheap cut rate carpets cleaners before and won’t make that mistake again now that I have found John at chubby chubby. Prices were right for the size of out house and the wife is happy no complaints here. Thanks John we will be calling again in the future and pass your info on to all my military buddy’s at work.

About a year ago, against my better judgment, I allowed my boyfriend to purchase a concentrated lavender bleach bottle to use with laundry. While moving into our new townhome, he apparently spilt some bleach on the carpet (one larger bleach spot and a few other minor drip spots). At the time, I just decided to cover the spot and pretend it didn’t exist; however, now it is time to move and I was very concerned about not getting my security deposit refunded to me as a result of this unsightly bleach spot.
I called the local Chubby Chubby Carpet Cleaner in Puyallup. The woman I spoke to on the telephone was both friendly and informative. I was able to have a technician come to my house within a few days to dye the spot. When the technician, named Pogi, arrived, he was extremely helpful in letting me know the severity of the spot and what he could do to lessen its noticeablility. Due to the concentration of the bleach and the age of the carpet, it was clear that the bleach had literally eaten through the carpet, resulting in not only a stain, but a hole where the fibers had melted. He advised pulling carpet tufts from another area of carpet to mask this dilemma. Now finished, the spot is gone and it looks as though it was never there to begin with.
I am very pleased with Pogi’s level of professionalism, as he was able to work with me in order to ammend the problem I was having. I highly recommend Chubby Chubby Carpet Cleaners. You will not be disappointed!

So there I am, visiting my friends in Tacoma for the Super Bowl and my husband Troy spills the whole tray of salsa and ranch all over their carpet. I make my husband call a carpet cleaner right then. He calls Chubby Chubby during the Super bowl and to our surprise they pick up. Jon books us for the next morning. Jon comes out and cleans the spill for us quickly. He was on time and professional. It was a relief to get that cleaned for our friends before we flew back home to California. Thanks Chubby Chubby

Yes, a little hard to get ahold of, but I called on a Sunday to get my carpets clean before Friday, we set a time for Tuesday and he was here. John is wonderful. We had all kinds of stains; beer, wax, food, sharpie, red wine… And though we cleaned them up we really needed our carpets clean. John got out EVERY stain, including the bright blue sharpie my 2 year old got ahold of. He’s very courteous, was here within the time window he gave and I couldn’t be happier!!!

Tried to get service for Monday by calling on Saturday and they were booked. Calling a different place.

Called chubbys last minute to get our carpets cleaned for a move out and they came right out. Jon did a wonderful job on them! Would definitely recommend them and use them in the future!

I called this place and first of all they are hard to get a hold of. You call one number only to be directed to call another number and then when you call that number you have to leave a voice mail.
Anyway, I talked to the woman there and couldn’t answer all her questions regarding the property so I directed her to call the property manager. She never did. I called her again the next day and she sounded like she was half asleep at 2pm and asked her if Chubby Chubby Carpet Cleaning was only in Puyallup and her response was …“Why do you ask?” When I explained to her that she forgot to call the property mgr about the carpet cleaning she said …“Oh yeah, I forgot.“
I told her that their customer service sucks and that we would NOT be going with her company afterall. So Ms. Chubby Chubby Carpet cleaning, please know that you just lost out on a huge contract to clean multiple units in our complex. Sorry you lose… guess you didn’t need our buisness that bad huh?
