I’m not much of a donut eater, but my kids are! I got a half dozen assorted donuts for them and picked up a glazed for myself. If I do have a donut, it has to be glazed! They were so incredibly fluffy and light. They literally melted in my mouth. So delicious that the next time I was in Puyallup I had to get another glazed. Happy Donuts made me happy!

We love happy donuts! it is my daughters favorite, and they make a mean fritter! I frequently pick up 5 dozen at a time for work, I call 15 minutes ahead and they are always ready. i cannot recommend them enough.

Came in at 445 am and had a few customers in ordering. Was helped quickly and was out the door with my 12 donuts in no time. Was around 10 dollars if I remember right. They were a big hit in the office. They were all gone in 3 hours. I would definitely come here again. Good quality not soggy oily doughnuts. Good price and good staff to get you back on the road in no time. Stop in a get a doughnut for you, or a box for the office and be a hero.

Looooove them!!! My family has been going to them for about 5 years or so and their donuts taste the same all the time. They also have one of the best customer service in town and the owners know always remember our stories. It’s nice to go into a place they remember you. They are amazing and very reasonable. Totally recommend them to try.

Their donuts are so beyond delicious!!! We just tried them for the first time and we loved it. We just moved to Puyallup and after seeing the line at that place, we knew we had to try! The donuts are cheap too, can’t beat that!

I’ve been to many donut places in the Seattle area and this is the best hands down. Luckily my wife works nearby so we have an excuse to swing by. The quality, taste and service are top notch. I love all the raised donuts — it’s like eating sugar clouds! Or at least how I think sugar clouds would taste. :) Highly recommended if you are in the Puyallup area.

The best place to get donuts in the south sound. My wife and I visit here religiously every Sunday morning. Surprisingly tasty coffee and fantastic prices.

Absolute spot on for doughnuts! I have a doughnut shop nearly across the street from me, but I’ll drive the 10 – 15 min to go to happy doughnuts every time. Great friendly, family owned business with the freshest doughnuts in Puyallup; hell I might head over there now!

This place has been around for a long time and still remains to be the best quality donuts. I would give a 5 star rating but didn’t only because they carry just the classics which is great but would be nice to see some creative new items and maybe more scone choices. My fav is the Krispie bars, love that crunchy texture and buttermilk taste, both the glazed version and chocolate are just awesome! For as busy as it is you’d think they would have updated and/or enlarged the seating somewhat as it is elbow to elbow but realize many take orders to go. I may have been tempted to try the bacon maple bar but the bacon looked undercooked, soft and fatty instead of crispy strip or crumbles.

My husband and I stopped in for a tasty treat this morning. These donuts definitely did not disappoint. My husband got a chocolate croissant that was very good. I had one of the best jelly donuts of my life. The dough was so light and fluffy– like biting into a sweet cloud! We shared a maple buttermilk– moist with a light crisp. Outstanding! None of our donuts were greasy, and they all tasted«clean»(no taste of old, re-used frying oil). We’ll definitely be back!

Back home in Carlsbad we have a donut shop thats for locals. They sit drink their coffee, talk football, surf, and their wives. When we pulled up we got that feeling of warmth just like the donut shop back home. Very clean, smells good and donuts are good and cheap! 5 donuts for 5 bucks! So good. I got a maple bar, my son got a pink sprinkle and my husband got a fritter. He ate it in 3 seconds so good he kept saying! We will be coming back for sure.

I came here for breakfast one day because someone had mentioned that I can’t leave without a donut. I stayed in Puyallup for five days, lost 13lbs, still ate a donut. This donut was absolutely delicious. It was actually a cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting. I’m all about frosting. The service was nice and pleasant. They didn’t mind my indecisive rambling or my son’s pestering. This place brought«New year, new me» to a whole different level. I’m going to be wandering around Green Valley trying to find a donut that matches this. All we have is Walmart and Safeway. Both of which are meh. Donuts are like lovin. Even when they’re not that good, they’re still pretty good. I give you guys 10 stars. Thank you for catering to my inner fatty.

Happy indeed. The blueberry fritter was delicious as advertised. The cake donut(pumpkin spice) had the perfect slightly crispy exterior with moist flakiness on the inside. Donut holes were soft and melt in your mouth, two-year-old-approved! In the classic donut segment, this place delivers. Cheap prices too. On the plus side, didn’t try this place until last day in town : —) Lethal!

Probably one of the easiest reviews to write. Amazing, fresh, delicious doughnuts, that aren’t ungodly expensive or pretentious(unlike all the gourmet fancy doughnut places). Bonus. if you get them hot they reach the scale of being epic. Quick service, even when busy, and I’ve never had a bad or even ok doughnut. That’s a win in my book.

Awesome donuts here! I got a selection of blueberry, chocolate frosted, cinnamon and a few others and they tasted great! Some donut shops won’t take plastic but this one will. You need to get enough to go over a specified amount or pay 30 cents extra but it isn’t too hard to reach that amount if you love donuts!

These will make you king for the day. Take them to work, to the doctors office, to the potluck… you’ll be crowned royalty. Every town has their favorite homestyle bakery or donut shop. This is the place in the 371… it costs more than the grocery store, but if I wanted a mushy, greasy donut from Fredway I would’ve went there. This is a specialized shop, so if you want fifty cent day olds — walk your unhappy behind across the street to 7 – 11 and help yourself. However, if you want semi-gourmet, French/Vietnamese maple bar bacon delish — pay the extra quarter out of towner or infrequent visitor and enjoy the finest our once bucolic puyallup-fair-town now WASHINGTON-STATE-FAIR town has to offer. So some one time reviewer said mold huh? That was green sprinkles fool.

I grew up in Puyallup and recently moved to Kent. Every time i get a craving for donuts I get in the car and drive down to Happy’s. The owners are great, family run shop. They always take care of you. Donuts are great too. Make sure you get there early, its always busy!

I visited this place before I made my way to the airport to head back to San Diego. and the donuts… we sooooooo gooooooooood. My brother knew I would love it and it would be worth the detour, and I’m really happy we did. We got a bunch of donut holes, an apple fritter, a chocolate bar, a chocolate sprinkle donut. and I loved them all! Keep in mind that I absolutely hate chocolate sprinkle donuts, but this one was divine and so soft and fluffy. Take me back to Puyallup! Also, the owners are really nice, and at 6am, it is always good to start off your day with happy and funny conversations. I also love the little miniature version of the donut shop that they have on display. So cute!

We got there around 920A& they were pretty darn busy! Line was out the door but it went quickly. The place is rather small, but the service was great. Decent selection, but holy moly are these things fresh! Much better than a top pot or just your normal safeway donuts. We will be back!
