BEWARE!!! Wish I would have read reviews first the bad ones are all true, I ordered a 5 dollar fill up, the chicken tenders were mangled and paper thin, then after the gal said I would get mashed potatoes and gravy for a side I agreed and paid then I get back to work and open it up I have yesterday’s burnt leftover and cold reheated Mac and cheese, disgusting I will not be back!!!

They NEVER get the order right. They always run out of tenders. It’s convenient but you pay the price.

This place really needs to go. Unsanitary: once I left the window I started digging in my bag for a snack tender strip from the cup it was served in. At that time I realized they gave me tiny nuggets that were pretty much all breading and hardly any chicken which was so dry I couldn’t swallow it. I went back and the girl asked me for my bag so I gave it to her to check but instead I saw her put it back under heat assumingly for another customer. Like dude, I already touched it. No one has ever taken my wrong order back through the window because it’s against their sanitation policy– but not KFC, at least at the one in Puyallup. Grossed out forever. That was the last strike. Long, long, did I say long? LONG wait time. Their drinks are repulsive! Hardly any carbonation. It’s gross. This place always has YOUNG adults working there taking a smoke break together sitting on the curb near the order menu. I don’t think I can trust their cleanliness. Just don’t go there. Close this place and put another fast food place.

This store in particular has forever lost my business. Every time I have given this store a chance I have been met with terrible teenage attitude and service. I have received everything from chicken jerky(so dry that it literally could not be bitten through) to mangled chicken and raw potato wedges. I will never go here again and I urge anybody who reads this not to either.

If you decide you want kfc, DONOTGOTOTHISONE. first, when I ordered my food(the 5 $ fill up) she only asked what chicken and what to drink. She didn’t ask what sides I wanted, I had to bring that up and tell her. When I pulled up to the window, it took her atleast 5 min to take my cash(after making eye contact atleast 4 – 5 times) for her to tell me that my food will take 2 min. Really??? When she brought me my food, she was very rude. For my sides, I ordered mashed potatoes w/no gravy and Mac & cheese — they gave us both mashed potatoes with gravy!!! Either these people need to get their ears & eyes checked or they need to hire employees who aren’t stupid. I’m not happy!!!

I have no idea how this place stays in business. It offers chicken on the menu… but has none. So, why aren’t they making more? Oh. That requires… GASP…do I say it? WORK? I’ve been to this one one too many times… never again Dirty, poor service and they can’t get a simple order right. 10 piece bucket feast. Forgot cake, slaw and biscuits.

The antithesis of customer service. Turned off by dirty conditions. Tried the $ 5 special at this unkept, datedly decorated KFC. Dust from the ceiling tiles fell as my order was taken by a member of the Gold Service Club recipient, or some such award. Apparently the Service Club doesn’t require accuracy for inclusion. In desperation, I had to tell my order taker what actually came with my meal if I had any hopes of getting what I had ordered. Even at that, she didn’t get it right. I had to plead with another behind the counter person to get my cookie. I hate begging for cookie. It’s hard to screw up this kind of food, but they managed to. All surfaces I had contact with were sticky. I sat next to the broken double paned window. If you have a choice of KFCs, go to the one on Canyon Road. They’re much better at what KFC is supposed to be doing. Awards must be given here, just to be given.

Great visit! I only go to this KFC a few times a year. Always at lunch, always at drive-through, and always in a hurry. The service is relatively fast and friendly and no problems with my order. I just went through the drive-through today, ordered a mashed potato bowl, and started my timer. I was the only one in line and the restaurant appeared to be uncrowded. I ordered, pulled forward, and waited. The kid at the register rang me up, have me my order, and apologized profusely that it took so long. I thanked him with a smile, said no worries, and drove away happy. Time elapsed from time of order to receipt of product? Less than 3 minutes. And my order was correct. I guess I’m just lucky today!

I love KFC! This location has corn bread as well(most locations don’t.) The little lady at the counter was very friendly and was trying her hardest to articulate the menu to me in her best«English». The big fat lady that is apparently the owner had questionable hygiene and a moustache. If didn’t find any of her facial hairs in my food, so oh well. I will definitely return!!!

Some of the slowest and poor service I’ve ever seen. When you order a 3 piece white chicken meal & get 2 thighs and a leg, you have to question the people working there. Maybe they need some junior high biology. Also not a good idea for the employees to take smoke breaks and leave the door open. Stinks up the whole inside of the place.

i drive cross town cause i didn’t wannabe bothered with the foolishness on canyon. well i get here i specify fresh drop 40. shamir say no problem i’ll go tell him. ok she rings me up. i wait get my food & goin on my way. well as i begin to drive i reach over bite 1 chicken & it’s not hot but like luke not hot. so i reach in grab another 1 bite into it no steam.ughhhhhh. so i stop n go back inside with my 2 non hot bones & this bucket both ladies walked passed me walked in the back had a team conference meaning all 6 off them. then the black guy walks fwd as i show him & the female she walks behind the counter & tell him he has so much patience. repeatedly. so i say look i specific asked that all 40 pcs b e dropped fresh she said no problem it’s not what i got. i say look as i pull the meat from the bone no steam. he takes the bucket & says we will replace it no problem. they say 9 minutes 4 minutes go by the he asked would i like all the replaced i said yes i will wait. well i stayed at the counter. those chicken were atleast 3shades lighter then what i had. yes this is fast food but if there is nobody there it shouldn’t be that hard to get out quality food. maybe the staff need to be reminded what shades the chicken should be when served & what shouldn’t not be served under any circumstances. very disappointed

I should have checked the reviews before coming here. I rarely eat fast food, but it seems that when I do, I am always reminded the reasons other than health reasons why I must stay away. It never fails that something gets screwed up but you just can’t fathom why. It already requires no education to work in the fast food industry. When we pulled up to the drive thru, we were promptly told, «Just so you know, we are very very limited on chicken. We only have ___. Someone came just now and bought it all out.» Oh really, someone just bought your entire stores of chicken? I ask about the spicy wings. The response, «I CAN make you those if you want to wait 9 minutes.» Uhh. excellent. The worst part is when you finally get home to eat your greasy, overpriced deep fried fast food, you find missing parts of your order. Am I the only one who likes a dipping sauce for wings? It appears so. First time at a KFC in years and first time at this location ever and I will not be returning.

Hadn’t been to KFC in years, now I remember why. Worst customer service this side of the Mississippi. Couldn’t get our orders correct if their lives depended on it. Just gave up after trying twice and ate what was provided. The girl that fixed one plate incorrectly fixed it by throwing the food on the plate like we were in chow line in prison. She was put out because she had to fix it. The cashier couldn’t get the order right and didn’t know how to fix it in the register. Chicken was cold and greasy, wanted to try the potato wedges but finally ended up with mac and cheese that was bland and cold. Never again, I’d rather pay more and eat proper food.

Terrible terrible terrible, we live close and have come here a few Times, they are always out of everything we order and they try to say it will take 20 minutes to throw a piece of chicken in the fryer! Give me a break!!! Every time they have no wedges, and every time they are apologetic but seriously none of the employees ever know what is going on and once we ordered a pot pie and they informed us that the cook had left for the night and stollen the last one and a wait of 20 minutes at «fast food» what a joke, the owner must be broke.

This KFC has consistently gotten my order wrong. I go there every so often when I visit my parents and they’re in the mood for KFC — they’re older and like their KFC. About 80% of the time they don’t have any grilled chicken ready. Twice, I have waited over 40 minutes for an order to be fulfilled. Once I have no idea why it took that long, the second time they didn’t have grilled drumsticks, so I waited. As the time passed, someone else tried to order a meal and had to wait because they were out of biscuits. So, instead of just setting aside a few for my meal, they went with other orders and once my grilled chicken was ready I had to then wait for the biscuits. They were nice enough to comp me on some free cookies and a large mac & cheese, but I really didn’t need to have TONS of food, I just wanted a few meals that I ordered in a prompt manner. With that said, I swore them off the first time I had to wait 40 minutes, I have finally sworn them off after the second 40+ minute wait. Luckily I live equally as far to this KFC as I do the Canyon Rd KFC/A&W combo and I would recommend that KFC any day. Their food is almost always ready, if you have to wait it’s for about 10 minutes max and their staff is super nice and actually seem like they care about what they’re doing. The downtown Puyallup store only has one person who seemed to actually care, the others were just screwing around in the back and seemed oblivious to what was going on. This KFC is a trainwreck. Which is funny because one time I waited and heard four trains pass while waiting for them to fulfill my order.

YUCK! I’ve tried this place for a 2nd time and can still see nothing has changed. Upon walking in I feel like I am entering a KFC from the 80’s. The crew looks and acts like the typical teenage fast food employee just there to collect a paycheck. The food prep was horrible both times. Upon my most recent visit I ordered something simple like 10 honey BBQ wings for a near 8 bucks. It looked like someone just threw the wings in a box and emptied an entire bottle of sauce on them leaving me searching the box for my drowning wings. There was so much sauce in the box that the paper inside was practically glued to my food. Anyone putting this order together had to of known they’re giving it a half-arse effort. If I hadn’t of driven home by the time I opened the box, I would’ve returned my order. Now that I’m comfy, it’s time for a review instead. Perhaps this place maybe better in the earlier hours since I’ve also noticed they’re always low on items. Like most KFC’s they seem to be a hit or miss. Good Luck!

Newer KFC — lady who worked their was nice. Had a buffalo snacker and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy for $ 3. There was a thimble full of meat on the snacker, otherwise was exactly what you’d expect.
