There was only one person working at this very busy location today. In Puyallup, most clients are families, which means they come in twos threes and fours. They were out of bags, olives, and no soup. The one guy they had the very best he possibly could, considering the gross negligence of whoever owns or manages this store. One person is not enough to keep the area clean and to health department standards. I am considering a call to the health department tomorrow to have them inspect. Again, one person cannot possibly handle all of the duties of working a subway store with so many people coming in constantly at this Fred Meyer shopping center in downtown Puyallup. Stay away from this location, you are better off going into Fred Meyer deli or something else.

I love this Subway the manager Lee is very attentive to the fact I have Celiac disease and takes extra special care so I don’t get cross contamination and he plays Country music too boot. I always feel safe to eat here and my fellow Celiacs and those that have gluten intolerant this Subway has your back, highly recommended.

As far as Subways go, it’s clean and small and passable. I did receive terribly slow service all three times I was here this week. Once the staff was simply talking to the manager after making half of my sandwich. I stood there waiting for them to finish talking and finish making my sandwich for over a couple of minutes. I was the only one in the store. One of the meatballs in my sandwich was burnt. Not a great visit. Gave them two more chances, and each time the same staff was slow and unfriendly. Lots of people standing in line with over 6 sandwiches lined up. Sad. Poorly trained staff. Need better management to make this store better.

Love this Subway. Our«Sandwich Artist» is always awesome. I have celiac and he always makes sure not to touch my food after making my husband and daughter’s sandwiches. Oh, and no judgement when I’m feigning for some bread. ;)
