I have been looking for a good noodle place in Puyallup, and no that the kind that mostly sells the usual teriyaki and other East-Asian food. I’m Asian and I do get sick of eating teriyaki and fried rice every time. Plus I’m a cook so I never like eating out unless the place has really excellent food. My Li’l Cube is a gem! Me and my hubby went there on a whim because I was looking for ramen. We never went here before so we just threw caution in the wind and let us see for ourselves. The food did not disappoint us. I had the black garlic tonkatsu ramen and hubby had the curry chicken katsudon. I love garlic and the ramen was so garlicky. It was superb! The curry was alright. I’d like it with more curry and more spice. We also had takoyaki. You can’t have takoyaki if it’s not tako. Seriously. We also had the scallion pancakes. Those were really good. We’ll be coming back here again. :)

My best Japanese ramen place ever! Waitress always greeting us with smile. Is really worth driving far a way eat ramen? Yes. It is worth it, because you will not forget that savor of ramen anywhere else in Washington state.

If you pass by this small little shop please don’t ignore it, spend as little as 30mins of time to try their Ramen! You will fall in love with not just the food, the environment too! The portion is big, 3 of us order 2 bowl of Ramen and still not able to finished.

I’ve been wanting to come here since they opened, which was November 2014! The parking lot is small but there’s street parking available. The menu is simple but we still had a hard time deciding what to have. We ordered the xiao long bao, takoyaki and nabeyaki udon. Everything looked good and tasted as it should, but there was nothing spectacular. The dining area is separated into 2 areas but the sound seems to carry across the restaurant. Our server was friendly and attentive. If we happen to be in the area again, I’d like to come back to try the scallions pancakes, beef wrap and curry.

We have been missing out favorite ramen spot every since we moved up here from the LA area. We have tried phở and said phooey to it. We finally decided to try My Lil Cube and my whole family loved it. The 10 yr old, the 13 yr old, my sister and her husband, we were all pleased. Super friendly staff, even if we did have to ask for tableware. The 4 different ramens we tried were all given 5 stars by all of us. My sister and I even got free mochi for our birthdays. We’ll be back. Soon. Very soon.

A friend and I cam here later in the evening to have our fix of Ramen, I personally, have been looking for a good spot for Ramen and living in the south end there aren’t very many of them around. Living in Bonney Lake, it was definitely a surprise to find out that there is a Ramen place just down the hill in the Puyallup River Valley. For appetizer’s we ordered the Takoyaki and the Mixed Tempura Vegetables. The Takoyaki was fresh and delivered on everything you would expect to have in those crazy explosive octopus balls. The bonito flakes were awesome on top and were moving around with the heat, my friend didn’t even know what it was and was wondering why the flakes were moving. The tempura was light and crispy just the way I like my tempura, not too greasy and just the right amount of crunch. For soup, I ordered the Black Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen while my friend just ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. It was delicious and I ate my entire bowl. The broth had the scent of Pork and Garlic and was really rich. The garlic flavoring was not overpowering at all and the Pork was cooked to perfection(some ramen places I’ve gone to have a taste to their pork that just didn’t set right with me). The icing on the cake that was my ramen was the Boiled egg. Something about that egg just made me so happy. My friend and I both agreed that that egg was great. The service was awesome and staff were really attentive to our needs and were very quick to fill our cups of water and help us with anything else we needed. I will definitely be back again to try their other broths and soups. I am glad to see that Ramen is making their way to the South end.

Came here after book marking this restaurant due to my bf’s co worker telling us about it. Upon coming, I brought a decently big group. My group accommodated 6 adults and 2 babies.(one toddler and one infant) and all of us being our first time here. The store seemed to be run by a mom and daughter. The mom doesn’t understand any English so the daughter was doing a majority of the work. They cleaned up two tables and combined them to Seat us and handed us the menus. My group ended up ordering 2 orders of the scallion pancakes, one order of dumplings and one order of gyoza for appetizers. The drinks we ordered from the menu were a Japanese soda drink, sweetened ice green tea and a hot tea. The scallion pancakes were super delicious! Those things were addicting. My toddler even kept grabbing for them. Their boiled dumplings were really good too, as were the gyoza. As for entrees, 4 of us ordered the tonkatsu ramen, one ordered the blacked garlic tonkatsu ramen, one order of tempura udon with extra noodles and an order of the mixed fried rice. All of which were excellent! 3 of my family members haven’t had ramen before so they were all so pleased with how the taste of the broth was the broth was flavorful but not over powering so you can add seasonings to your liking and the fried rice is good! We drove from Lacey to try this place out and I know we will all be back again!

I ordered the black garlic tonkatsu ramen which was to die for. If you like garlic I would highly recommend it! To accompany the soup we tried the steamed juicy pork buns and scallion pancakes(we couldn’t decide) Both were equally delicious. The buns infused with warm broth and the scallion pancakes perfectly cooked. The service was great too. We were checked in on several times even though it was busy. If you’re in a rush i wouldn’t recommend because they are freshly preparing your soup which is well worth waiting for. SO glad we found this gem so close to home! We will be back!

I had this place bookmarked for a while and I finally tried it recently. What a completely unexpected place in downtown Puyallup! The menu was pretty impressive for the size of the restaurant. There was a variety of appetizers, ramen, and donburi. I ordered the agedashi tofu and the miso ramen. The tofu was exactly what I expected: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, bathing in a slightly salty broth. The miso ramen was good but could have been more miso-y. I could hardly taste it. I like that it came with pork AND a soft-boiled egg. Most places charge for adding one or the other. The next time I visit, I’m going to get the black garlic ramen. Both my sister and boyfriend ordered this and I had ramen envy the entire time! The garlic flavor was strong but not off-putting. It was well-balanced. This place is definitely a gem in the area!

Wow this is the real deal Ramen! It doesn’t get better than this, I ordered the Black garlic Tonkatsu Ramen with hot milk tea to go with it and man! They both really hit the spot. I really enjoy their food and will be back again, and again.

This place is very good. Very authentic. I had the tonkatsu ramen. We just moved back to Puyallup from central Washington and this place is dangerous! Very happy to have a delicious ramen place in Puyallup!

If your tired of eating out at your typical Phở restaraunts, this is the place to go. Clean and quiet atmosphere, fresh and hot noodles and service with a smile. Only wish they were closer to where we live than in downtown Puyallup. Highly recommend this place.

Quaint little place. Food is delicious and on point. So glad I found a decent ramen place close by. Fairly priced and portions are huge. Definitely will be back to try everything on the menu. Parking is a bit of a problem but that’s just how it is in downtown.

This place was so great! Everyone is really nice and they are so humble and down to earth! The ramen was perfect, the ginger pork was out of this world! And, the milk tea? I wanted to cry when I got home and realized I didn’t have any. It was so great and perfect for a cold night! Thank you for a wonderful first experience!

We’ve always drove past this cute little place since we live around the area and oh my goodness we were not disappointed. We heard of the xiao long bao(juicy soup dumplings) kind of like the ones from Din Tai Fung, and they were amazing! The owner I think who is a young gal was super kind and informative on what was really good there and explained to us how each dish tasted upon request. We ordered black garlic tonkatsu ramen with extra corn, nabeyaki udon, takoyaki, and the juicy soup dumplings. The milk tea there is to die for! Hot or iced, you won’t regret it. really good prices for the amount of food we ordered. We’ve gone here a number of times and never leave unsatisfied. It’s kind of tucked away, but if you know where anthem is then you should be able to find it. Our favorite spot for sure and we will always go here since they’re the only ones that serve juicy soup dumplings near our house except Seattle.

So I was a bit hesitant as this place had large shoes to fill after it took over the space of Kanpai, a great sushi place from my childhood. However, this place did not disappoint! Authentic Japanese noodle house. I have been here several times and the main server girl always remembers me and seats me in my favorite seat. The service is wonderful, they are attentive without being too pushy and have never gotten my order wrong. I always get the Tonkatsu Chashu Pork Ramen and the pork is to die for, it’s soft and rich, however they cut it thin so it’s not overwhelming. I always leave satisfied with both the food and the service. I recommend their green tea, it’s only $ 2 and they’ll give you more hot water for your tea bag which will re steep 3 or 4 times. The pricing is extremely reasonable here which is great for groups! This has been my 5th visit of many more to come!

Food were very delicious and very affordable. I ordered the Black garlic Tonkatsu Ramen and the broth is not too overpowering that you have to brush your teeth to rid of garlic breath. Servings are good for two people. Overall, very impressed

First of all, the service was great. The owner herself got all our orders correct and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I love ramen, and I’ve tried nearly all the ramen places in the greater Seattle area. This one is definitely in the top three I’ve tried up here. I had the shouyu chashuu ramen and the broth was perfect, and the noodles were firm, as they should be. I have nothing bad to say about this place at this time.

Wife and I walked here to get out of the hustle and bustle of Meeker Days for lunch. Great customer service and wonderful presentation. Kudos to this family owned and operated restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed the starters we chose… pork dumplings were amazing, tempura shrimp delicious(but not real tempura was like panko breaded) I ordered a ramen bowl the wife chose the tonkatsu rice… both good… though seems I’m not a big ramen lover lol. I think if you are a ramen fan you’ll enjoy eating here.

A cute ramen shop in Puyallup?! Wow. Had to go in. Affordable items. Went on a double date so we could try the appetizers and ramen together! Utensils are made of wood, so it has that homely vintage feel. Service is great, they can get busy but they never forget about you. Set up in the restaurant: bathroom in the back on your left. 5 stars for the tonkotsu chashu ramen broth. 5 stars for the onion scallion pancakes! It’s a huge serving for a «tapa» size. Dh ordered miso, delicious too!
