*Update* I just had another great experience here at Pawn Depot. I have been looking for a nice lever action rifle to add to my collection and the guys at Pawn Depot did not let me down. Thanks you guys for helping me build a great collection without breaking the bank. Pawn Depot is probably the best pawn shop I have ever had the experience of shopping at. I know that many people are weary of pawn shops because they don’t trust used stuff or they think that it is always going to be overpriced. This is definitely not the case at Pawn Depot. I have been shopping there for probably a year now and I have found great deals on guns, tools, electronics, jewelry, collectibles, and Blu-rays. Of course they sell much more than that, but those are the things I am usually looking for. The staff are amazing. Not only are they knowledgeable and friendly, but they go out of their way to make your purchasing experience a positive one. They won’t mess around with you about prices and try to low ball you if you are selling or pawning. Every price they give is a fair market pawn value for the item. I’ve probably spent about $ 10K at Pawn Depot, and I bet I’ve saved just about that much buying their items over new or at other pawn shops. Bottom line is that if you want a great pawn experience, you need to stop by their stores or visit their website. I am a loyal customer and will be for years to come.

Called and said I would come down after work to pick up a bike from a Craigslist ad. I show up and he’s pulling it down for some other person. I said«I was the guy who called and said I would be here» he wanted to argue and say«well we didn’t get your name so it’s not on hold» so I guess I’m supposed to assume they would hold without any recommendation from them? Fuck this place. I drove an hour and a half. The other person didn’t want it and I wound up getting my bike. The guy hid like a coward in the back of the store while I got my bike.

My girlfriend and I have been on a search to locate a Super Nintendo. We’ve been craving to relive some of our youth with a little Super Mario Kart and after seeing a listing on craigslist for a SNES at a pawn shop out towards Graham, we figured we would jump in the car and make the drive the following morning. The listing said they opened at 9 I think and we were only there about 30 minutes after they opened. There were a couple people inside and we kind of wandered around, took a look at a few things that caught our eyes and attempted to locate the SNES without any help. We found were the rest of the electronics were, but no sign of a SNES console. Our fingers were crossed that there was one in back or some other hidden place. We asked one of the guys behind the desk about it and he went to look. His search came up empty handed as well and he said it must have sold. We told him there was a listing on craigslist for it, still up and we had just driven out from Puyallup to check on it. He said to keep an eye on the website because he had a few in the back and they would probably up in the near future. Obviously defeated, we left the place and drove home. I’m 100% aware that a phone call would have saved us the trip, but sometimes the adventure is worth the risk. Just sucks when it’s about 45 minutes of driving that ends in nothing. I kinda feel like if you have things listed online and in a retail setting, that there should be a system in place to prevent things like this. When an item sells, you also take it off your site, craigslist and eBay and save people the hassle. Oh well, lesson learned I suppose. Other than our bad luck, place was clean, had some cool stuff, lots of off road motorcycle stuff, some guns, jewelry and the usual affair. I might swing by on a trip out to see my parents in Graham, but I highly doubt I’ll drive out from Puyallup, even if a phone call is involved…
