This Popeyes has the worst customer service and is always a mess behind the counter. You can always tell that the food has been sitting awhile and comes out barely warm. I hope this location gets new management to run it a lot more efficiently. Sorry to be so harsh, but this location always lets me down.

Food is good of course. But every time I come here the service is so cold and unfriendly. There should be better management to encourage good customer service. Seems basic. But I’ve never had any mistakes on my orders or anything like that so I can’t take too many stars.

I have never had a correct order here ever since they opened years ago. I go about once or twice a year to check if they’ve improved, and the answer is no. They give you a box where you’d expect everything to be inside. I have never received my dipping sauces ever even though they’ll ask me twice. They’ve missed silverware, and also a drink(though I could have remembered the drink myself but they said thanks and closed the window so I didn’t think about it.) each time I make sure to ask if that’s everything before driving off to be sure.

Went through the drive thru today and ordered a 12 piece tender meal for me, my wife, and three small children. I ordered half spicy and half regular since my kids are a little bit more sensitive to the heat of their spicy chicken. When I got up to the window, the woman asked, «you ordered the 12 piece chicken tenders?» I affirmed that was what I ordered. She then asked what I ordered for my sides. I repeated my order. She explained she wasn’t the one who took my order. Okay, I guess I found the only fast food restaurant without a system that communicates orders between employees. No big deal, not much of an inconvenience. After I paid, the employee asked me to drive around front and they would bring the food out when it was ready. We waited for about 15 minutes before my wife sent me in to see what was taking so long. I went in and immediately saw a large bag of food which I suspected might be mine sitting at the prep station. I told them I was there to pick up my order from the drive thru. They took the aforementioned bag, handed it to me and said to have a nice day. It wasn’t like they had a bad attitude or anything, what really bugs me is not knowing how long they had my food done before I actually had to go in and get it. If you have customers waiting for their drive thru orders, take the food out to hem as soon as it’s done. We told another car that had been waiting out front for theirs they might want to go in to get theirs too. Either way, we got homes during discovered they gave us 12 pieces of spicy chicken instead of half and half as ordered. One star, Popeyes.

Nailbanger Here Again; Had hankering for some Fried Chicken. This is the place on the Hill for that. They have the $ 5.00 meals in a box deal currently, two pieces bone on Chicken or 3 Tenders, Two sides and a Biscuit. $ 1.00 for a add on drink. There Chicken is the best. We got Red Beans and Rice and Coleslaw. Plenty of well Lighted Parking. Enjoy

Shitty customer service. Worse Popeyes I’ve ever been in. Ms Thing at the counter is the reason some don’t want to see the minimum wage go up.

The wait time to get your food at this Popeye’s location is between 20 to 30 mins. The times I have been there, it seems to never change. Additionally, my order has been wrong a couple times now after waiting the long wait time. Service is so, so. Sometimes the people working there are friendly, sometimes not so much. Honestly, I would not recommend this establishment.

Love this Popeyes! All the employees are really nice and helpful. They do take awhile to make some of the food fresh, but they ask you if that’s okay, but it’s very well worth it. Prices of course can be high depending on what you buy… but I LOVE their chicken and biscuits!!!

Customer service through the roof. I was greeted multiple time. The answer all my questions, when I asked me if they had more sweet tea and she said yes and she took my drink and fill it up in the back and give you a new cup lid and ice. Then as I left the store and they said thanks for coming in and have a great day excellent customer service

WORSTSERVICEEVER! Messed up order + long wait+ rude staff. After screwing up our order, they sent a manager out to tell us that we only get four sauces per order NOMATTERHOWMANYCHICKENSTRIPS and SHRIMPWEORDER. What a bunch of idiots. We ordered for a family of five and got four sauces total. We will never go back. These people don’t know how to run a business or restaurant. Some one needs to get some professionals in there. Popeye’s needs to allow another franchise in puyallup that hires professionals and more diversity in staff, and this location would be a ghost town in a matter of months. Read the majority of reviews, locals hate this restaurant staff.

Well as an update…2 months after I wrote this Popeyes review, the northwest manager’s assistant called me. She started in on a pitch saying how she apologized for the cleanliness. I eventually stopped her and asked her why she was calling me and not a manager. I then asked if she had even read my review, because that was not my complaint. My complaint for the wait time and service. She eventually said she wanted me to go in kind of as a secret shopper and she would send me a coupon for a free gift certificate. I actually threw it away, now i wish I would have scanned it and put it on here. It was a typed out letter that i was supposed to hand to the employee for payment. The letter stated I had an issue with service, I obviously decided not take the chance of having my food messed with. We have tried Popeyes twice and it was worse each time. The other day we thought okay one last time. We tried three items and they were out of all three so we told them we would pass. Wow have can Popeyes have such a good product and have such a horrible restaurant. How is this place even surviving. Everyone i know loves the food but won’t go to this store anymore. Something has got to give. –Disappointed. My previous review February 2014 : My spouse and I have had numerous negative experiences at this Popeye’s location in Puyallup, Washington. Initially, we were excited to have a Popeye’s near our home. Each time we have went to the Puyallup location the food is very consistent, which is the only reason we have kept coming back. The problem when my spouse and I have gone to this restaurant is the bad service. We just keep hoping, new management will take over and the service experience will improve. Today, we decided to give this Popeye’s another opportunity to make up for past experiences, however this is a decision we now regret. The bad service at this restaurant is long wait time and substandard customer service from the staff. The wait time is the same whether you dine-in or use the drive-thru. At first, we always used the drive-thru until the last six months or so. Next, we tried going inside the restaurant to see if the wait time would improve. We still received the same poor service, long wait time, but now we got to sit in a filthy lobby. We have gone to this location at different times of the day, shifts and days of the week. The wait time is always around 20 – 30 minutes and we do not know why this location even has a drive-thru. At times, we have complained directly to the staff and the lack of customer service training was apparent. They were rude and didn’t take feedback well. There was never any explanation or apology on the long wait from these staff members. The employees show their unhappiness with their jobs on their faces. I assume the staff is supposed to go through training upon hired, but none of these employees appear as though they participated in customer service training for working with the public. We also wanted to comment that they do not show initiative, a sense of urgency and wander around very slowly while performing tasks. Today, we had an opportunity to see the manager today for the first time; she was out in the lobby speaking to an employee. She did not walk around and greet her customers or help clean up the filthy lobby. We were hoping she would come by our table, so we could share our experiences with her. We wanted to report it to management, but the website only allows 1800 characters and The receipt from today had no survey on the back. This was the same the last few times so we didn’t have the opportunity to give our feedback. This Puyallup restaurant’s food service isn’t being delivered«Louisiana Fast».

Yummy food. Wait for them to finish cooking tenders was a bummer but worth the wait because 1) food tasted good and 2) the manager threw in free dessert. Boyfriend and I are happy customers. Note: bf loves their mash and gravy but I’m not huge fan; I think it’s kind of beany flavored? So that’s the only minus for me, but he loves it so to each their own…

The food is good the service is terrible. It takes forever to get your food, no one smiles, and the tempature inside the resturant is hotter than 90 degree temp outside! This is the second time we have stopped in and the service still sucks, management team could use a change. The employees are miserable and the conditions they were working in tonight are horrible.

Good food, worst service. Expect a huge wait when you’re in the drive through. Well I should say, parking lot, because that’s where you’ll be waiting for 20 minutes before they bring your food to you. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Obviously the management is horrendous. Good luck.

This review is written from an LGBT perspective: The food is okay, I have to admit that I like Popeye’s in general, but not as good as other locations where I’ve tried it. The prices are decent. My problem is the way that the wait staff treated me. I am an out Trans person and they were clearly making jokes about me and smirking all the time I was waiting for my food. They should get some sensitivity training for dealing with any LGBT customer, but considering the size of my order and the amount of money that I was spending(for a teen party) I was appalled to be treated that way. Obviously this is in South Hill and one cannot expect open arms, but I don’t expect to be treated as a pariah, especially when I’m spending in three figures. I will never return to this restaurant.
