First time for my wife and I after we read about this place on Unilocal.The best nachos I’ve had in a long time. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and it was too much to eat but very very good! Atmosphere was fine, it is a lounge after all. We will be back and we will tell our friends of our new find. The check was very low because it was happy hour! Food and two beers came to $ 23. My wallet is very happy. Oh yea the service was on the excellent side.

Blah pour for a drink. Expensive drinks. Husbands hamburger tasted like meat loaf smh. Processed cheese so gross. Might return for a event but food was nothing great. However I did love the salt and vinegar wings pretty good thus why the 3 stars.

Is a decent neighborhood place with a basic menu. Service is nice. And they have five dart machines

This is the best hang out in town. Every night of the week has something different to offer from poker to karaōke. There menu is large and has many options. The staff is friendly and nice. There is also a nice size beer garden in the back. All in all this is a great place to hang out, eat, and have a good time.

I like that they have 2 sides to the establishment. If you go on the weekend, one side is usually doing karaōke. (Not that I can sign and have fun with it. Lol, but it’s fun listening to everyone else.) Not sure if they have it during the week.
The staff has always been nice and I’ve always had great service from all the bartenders. I’ve been here a few times for breakfast and had their Eggs Benedict, they were really good. My kids enjoy breakfast here too.

I’ve been looking for a good place for breakfast. This place did the trick! I ordered the county fried steak and eggs. It’s one of those breakfasts that when it’s good it is really good. When it’s bad it’s hockey pucks. I’m happy to say they delivered. My county fry was fork tender and season perfectly. Going to be my new breakfast spot for sure.

So upset with how things were tonight I really feel like we were lied too!!! The bartenders were amazing and they normally are but it was a huge disappointment with the system they used tonight! I don’t usually win and I don’t care when I lose but it was advertised more than what it was I would give way more stars because the employees are amazing but I was so let down tonight and I spent more than I would have if I was I was told how it was really going to be… seriously even saved some money for it and brought some friends with me! But if this is how special events will go please don’t advertise it anymore!

There’s no shortage of meat on the sandwiches and when they say loaded in cheese they mean it! The philly was full of flavor, the beef n blue looked amazing, it lacked a tad in flavor but dipped in Au jus was good. The ultimate dip had good flavor and lots of meat… tons of melty cheese! Fries a little undercooked and tots are perfect. Best part was our bartender/​waitress JET, great conversation and very accommodating (thanks for dimming the blinding light, next time we want the visor!!). Good service, good food!

Okay, so this isn’t the most sophisticated joint in town but if you want a decent burger, good cold drinks and a really good staff… oh and a great Happy Hour selection… Ricky J’s is the place… they even serve breakfast! I don’t recommend the chicken fried steak but they have nice burgers, great pulled pork and the prime rib is great. They also have calamari strips that can be served with a coconut milk chili sauce that makes me glad I have taste buds. My husband and I come here for the convenience and atmosphere (we’re not that sophisticated either) and sometimes a little pool. If you are sitting at work and it’s that time of day when you’re thinking to yourself, «Dear God I need a drink.» (You know… whatever time of day that is for you…) do yourself a favor and try Ricky J’s at least once. Did I mention that they have tater-​tots?
Oh…and they have a large dining area, clean bathrooms and karaōke so it’s not just a bar. One thing though, if you order a pizza, it will take longer… worth the wait… but just FYI.

Decided to stop in after work for a first visit. I heard stories and others opinions but figured I’d try it for myself.
I came at 1130 pm. Appearantly after 9pm you can only order deep fry. I was a little disappointed I couldn’t try the nachos. I ordered a pitcher of Blue Moon and it was nice and cold, and an order of motzerella sticks. The motzerella sticks were good.
It is a loud place. Karaōke on one side of the building and loud music on the other. Keep in mind this is a Wednesday, the people here seem and I would guess are regulars. Not very busy, I thought it would be a lot bigger in here based on the outside but it’s really not. It’s not small but just not what I was expecting a weird layout/​arrangement. The staff seem very nice and friendly.
Based on what I heard from others I guess I kinda expected what I experienced. Looking at their website I expected something a whole lot better. Maybe I will have to cone back during the day to see?
Part of me wants to say 2 stars but I cant. I’d say it’s more 2.5 and that’s only because based on the website I expected more. It wasn’t a bad experience however listing to two different songs at the same time really messed with my A.D.D. The other room when it wasn’t karaōke the DJ played music and the music in the room I was in you can hear both. I’m sure that locals and regulars would say it’s 4.

I am basing the 4 stars off of the bar food and Mary and Jake. Great bartender/​servers. We tend to come in on Sunday’s for breakfast. They have excellent breakfast options and it tastes great! I love eggs Benedict and they have a couple versions, but you can add anything. Spinach dip and the sandwiches are really good also. They have pizza and salad options. Pull tabs are always fun and Mary puts the game on where you want it.
Half of the bar is a restaurant so if you want to bring kids you can.
The evening crowds can get sketchy which is usually why we don’t visit at that time. There are some interesting women with their Vape units and goth style who tend to get rowdier than most.
Personally Vape’s should still be used outdoors but that’s because I don’t feel like breathing in your flavored nasty exhales.
A far better bar in the day hours.

Went over during a ufc fight and was standing room only. Had a few drinks and a fight broke out. Usually when we go it’s packed. It’s a small bar but close to home. Food is good. Always get a brewski.

My favorite bar from Graham to Federal Way! Not only do they make excellent drinks tailored with the customer in mind, but they also offer great bar food to snack on. I love all of the bartenders equally, they all pour a perfectly strong drink, not to mention their prices are so reasonable. I go in to play pool because they are one of the few places that take care of their tables. If you live within a half hour try this place out! It may appear to be for us Puyallup hicks but it’s always a fun atmosphere to grab a drink.

After reading some of the reviews I felt that there should be some justice served. Ricky J’s is a great bar & grill. They offer entertainment, a monthly calendar of events including give-​away promotions, billiards, darts & good food. I think they have great menu & really good portions. I have NEVER been there where I didn’t get good service. I didn’t smell any smoke & I didn’t feel like it was a male strip club, really? So for those of you who thought you were dining in a five star gourmet restaurant, its not. For those of you who felt ignored or on the outside, I’ll leave a suggestion that they have a greeter at the door to give you a big hug… lol

I don’t know what place those other reviewers went to, but I love this place. I have only been to the lounge, not the restaurant, but the service there is just fine. The drinks are tasty and reasonably priced, and the food is outstanding. I like to go somewhere on Sundays to watch the Seahawks games, and this has become my place of choice. It may well be the best kept secret in Puyallup. Come for the food, you won’t be sorry.

This place is a male strip club, posing as a restaurant It is located next to a daycare of all places. The food is mediocre at best anyone saying otherwise has to be a friend or family of the staff/​owners. The tables are to close together and the décor looks as if it was purchased from goodwill. The entire place stinks of cigarettes.

Horrid.
Cigarette steam filled in the lounge — and I mean a LOT of tobacco — I live with a smoker — that’s bad enough when you have lupus — but I tried to go to the bar to order a coke and was almost knocked over for the headache that slammed me to the ceiling.
I tried to stick it out — I thought maybe — but no, I couldn’t even get the attention of the bartender who was really going through that cash register screen like a strange person who didn’t know the screen at all.
Then the security guy that is oggling her and I am not sure what else he was doing but there were several of us at the bar and not one was asked if they needed anything in the 3 – 4 minutes I could stand to be there.
Send the smokers OUTSIDE and comply with the LAW.
This is not the only business that has forgotten there are others besides smokers and some who are chronically ill who can’t even enter a building with that much blatant contamination.
*ADDENDUM*
The man was sitting across from me smoking from a VAPE TOBACCO PEN!!! I am not an idiot and I AM HIGHLY ALLERGIC to tobacco!
There was more than one person using a smoking pen at the bar — at LEAST two people were sitting there STEAMING THEIR TOBACCO AND AEROSOL-​IZING IT TO EVERYONE ELSE.
Vape PENS are meant for HEALTHY substances NOT for TOBACCO TO MAKE SURE ALL ARE CONTAMINATED BY THEM.
You could have said anything EXCEPT that I was MISTAKEN — that is the mark of an OWNER who is NEVER THERE and who NEVER KNOWS what his «employees» are allowing to happen.
YOUR BARTENDER SMOKES — so how in the WORLD are they supposed to be able to TELL if someone is using a tobacco vape pen???
Not only did you basically call me a liar, you also ignored the fact that your bartender is ignoring customers while your security does the same.
This bar has serious issues — not the least of which an owner deeply in denial — I can read the reviews…
–THIS was my THIRD time there and I felt like a stranger and not wanted each and every time — ignored, ignored and abused by tobacco users who can’t follow the law and an owner who just keeps making excuse after lame excuse.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Great Mojito’s to bad the service sucked I would of drank more if the service was better. My husband went to the bar and waited 10 minutes just to ask for our bill.:(

Terrible food, poor beer selection, service is ok.
This is a total white trash place. Avoid if you have any standards.
