I have been going to this gym for about a year and a half. It isn’t over priced. I rarely see broken equipment and if there is a problem it is promptly fixed. The steam room, sauna, pool and hot tub are a great addition. I spend some time on the cardio equipment and most of my time in the weight area, I can usually go from machine to machine without delay. I recommend this gym to anybody in the area.

I have been going to W/O + for about 6 weeks now. I got my mother to sign up also. I have to say I’ve never waited for a piece of equipment to be available. There’s always room in the pool and the staff is very helpful. This is the first gym I’ve ever been to, so I can’t really compare it to anything. However, it’s close to my home and has everything I’m interested in doing for exercise available. If you live in or near the Quakertown area, I highly recommend.

I joined Workout Plus(WO+) about a month ago I think it’s time to give it a review. They’re undergoing renovation and have been since I joined, in fact the day I signed up they got all new weight training circuit equipment. Because of this I think the rates are slightly lower right now so if you’re on the fence I’d give it a go. Even under renovation it’s extremely clean and until someone said something I hadn’t really noticed anything was amiss. The cardio equipment is all in great shape and there’s enough that I’ve never had to wait for anything except the recumbent bike(of which I think there are only 2). The treadmills have fans built into them… pretty hi-lux. Almost all classes are included in the cost of the membership including spinning, yoga, pilates, the usual. In the class area there are also a few special treadmills with TV’s attached to them(bring your own headphones) and they’re open for use except when there’s a yoga class. My only beef with WO+ is that there’s no scale in the locker room. I was told by Evan, the manager(and a nice guy btw), that they have had them in the past but people got on them while wet and they rusted up. So it’s not really his fault, just inconsiderate patrons. That being said a good scale should be a given in a gym. Put it out in the lobby and if people are embarrassed then put a little curtain around it! There are refrigerator cases in the lobby that have energy drinks, Deer Park, Beefcake 5000 and all that jazz but I bring my own so I’m not sure how much they charge for them. Expect an update since I haven’t tried attending one of the classes yet and I’ll be curious to see if they’re big enough, how fast they fill up, etc.
