Absolutely HORRIBLE service. When I called my order in, the girl I spoke with was extremely rude. Not only was her attitude not so great, but I could hear her screaming in the background telling all of her coworkers to shut up because she was on the phone. So I waited about an hour and a half and called back. I only live a few miles away and wanted to know how long it’d be. well, this second girl I spoke with was worse than the first. I heard her yelling to her coworker about it, who responded with, «ah crap we forgot to make it!» So she got back to me and said, «Our delivery boy is out right now. We have a lot to do tonight. If you can just be patient, we’ll do what we can, k?» In total, my entire family waited two hours for our pizza and dealt with horrible service. Even the delivery boy seemed just disgustingly annoyed with his life experience and pretty much threw the pizzas at us. NEVER. AGAIN.

Very good value for pizza when you need to feed a large group. I had a club party at the high school and ordered 7 large pizzas.4 pepperoni and 3 cheese. The students loved it as soon as they saw the pizza was from Genos! They commented that the crust was much better than the competition which I usually buy from(little Caesars) and that the taste was also superior. Amazing value for a large one topping and good quality! Thank you for being cost effective for a teachers budget!

Horrible horrible experience here. Worst I’ve had in my life as far as customer service. Ordered pizza delivery 2x no problem. 3rd time(with 4 kids waiting to eat) they no showed. We called after an hour and they said«oh we don’t deliver to your house, its out of our range». 2.5 miles. Never called to tell us they weren’t coming. Just decided not to. Then proceeded to lie to my better half and tell him that they called me, finally admitted lying. But what can you do but make sandwiches at that point?

I should have looked at reviews before ordering. This is probably the WORST pizza I have ever had. Frozen pizza from the supermarket would have been 100x better! We ordered a regular sausage and pepperoni pizza and bread sticks for delivery. It took a little longer than expected, which would have been ok with me if the pizza arrived warm. This pizza was cold, and the delivery person mentioned it was very slow today. So if it was a slow day I don’t know why it took so long to arrive and have enough time to cool to room temperature. Not only that, the pizza didn’t look fresh and was paper thin. I’m betting their thin crust pizza that they offer must be translucent. The bread sticks were cold and soggy. The food had no flavor. I could go on, but heed my advice: try any other place or buy a DiGiorno. I would never eat here again, not even for free.

This place smells, literally like sewer gas. It’s absolutely awful. I think they have a plumbing issue as even the other customers noticed and we all spoke openly about it. Pizza is tasty though I love the flavored crust. Please fix your smelly restaurant though, it’s nasty and unappetizing!

The pizza is ok but the service is SLOW. If you are thinking of getting a pizza here make sure you call in your order.

I was excited by the promise of a huge pizza slice and was very disappointed. Do your self a favor and head over to any other pizza chain!

I think some of the comments about the staff are valid. Overall though, we like the $ 5.00 cheese and get it almost every two weeks. I like the flavored crusts. It seems like if the pizza gets a little cold its tough to bite into, but we still like it.

It’s travesty to call this pizza. The dough was very undercooked, there weren’t a lot of toppings and the cheese was pretty sparse. I’ve had better stuff from the freezer case at Fry’s that I cooked in my oven. The staff here is not very good either. They lack customer service skills and are kind of rude. They seem confused about what the process is from taking the customer’s order to giving them their food.

Food is good. We’ve eaten here many times and it’s one of the only places that deliver to our area. Ordered twice this week and both times the order was incomplete. Forgotten items. Hour plus wait time which is fine because we knew in advance. Unacceptable that twice in the same week. I had to wait almost three hours to get my food due to forgotten items that were already paid for. We will eat there again but they need to address the drivers leaving with missing items.

I write this while sitting in Genos… I walked in and it was totally empty the cashier walked from the back and acted like I was bothering her by walking into the establishment. I am from the east coast and slices comes in many flavored other than cheese and pepperoni, I asked the cashier if those two selections was the only option she stated she didn’t understand the question. So I said forget it and ordered 3 slices .as I sit down the other employees in the back are playing around. One pulled out her tongue ring who I found out her name is Katy then inserted it back and without washing her hands touched a pizza which I made sure wasn’t mine. Then she pulled out her earrings and did the same. Nobody had on gloves and I am sure this will be the last time I come here

I can only speak to the pizza which is quite good for a bargain pizza. Keep in mind it’s nothing fancy, but for five bucks you can get a better than decent one topping pizza. It’s definitely better than Little Caesars, if nothing else. Everything comes down to perspective– Genos is the fast food equivalent of a pizza place. For the money, it’s not bad, but it’s also not extarodinary. If you want some awesome pizza, go to Buddyz(which isn’t that far and we’ll worth the drive). If you want a good, cheap pizza, go to Genos.

I’m giving them a 4 star because I think it’s the best for fast cheap pizza. By no means a top quality slice for the upper crusts of pizza but for a quick regular crust pepperoni pie for under $ 6 it rocks. Plus the crust with butter cheese is awesome! Clean store and usually friendly staff. Charge extra for ranch. Lots of TVs with sports while u wait or eat.

I have been going to Geno’s since it opened in Queen Creek. I work late and don’t always want to go home and make myself dinner. When I first started going I noticed that the store literally smelled like a wet dog! I turned around and left without ordering anything. I tried again several weeks later and the smell was still around, just not nearly as bad as the first time I went. This time I ordered a large pizza to go. They run a special similar to other pizza places. $ 5.99 for a large… but its not hot and ready. It takes them roughly 10 minutes to cook it for you. The Pizza: Its about what you would expect for the price. It is not the best in the world, but will fill your stomach. I have not tried any of the other food, I have heard that it is ok, and a good alternative to eating a burger and fries. …oh, the wet dog smell happened to be the staff not changing the mop water. They have some new front end staff that works on keeping the dining area as clean as possible. It actually smells like pizza now.

Let me start by saying I have had the Genos by the ASU campus and am a frequent customer at PSC I work near by so I usually pick up food before I get in to work having a cheese steak craving I figure I will give this place a shot and see if they can match what I am use to. Price: 7.60 for a cheese steak not bad normal price for one. Length not the normal length probably 4 inches shorter. Bread is a cibatta that is toasted so now I wouldn’t call it a cheese steak. Meat is a 3 out of 10 pre made frozen meat Onions are raw not glazed or cooked for that matter very pungent you should cook them with the meat they flavor each other. Only thing on point was the cheese wiz and price The rest of the sand which was a joke I won’t be returning not worth the price for a half assed cheese steak.

This review is going to basically follow suit with many of the others… doubt I will be back and here is why: 1. They take forever and do not give accurate predictions as to how long it will take for your food to be ready 2. We order pizza and it was not the best. Hardly any cheese on the pizza and especially greasy. 3. The staff seems less than attentive. I sent my 6 year old up to get something and she stood there as employee after employee walked by and didn’t notice her, I finally had to get up and intervene. Now, this has little impact on the review, I would hardly hold that against them but was kind sad, poor little gal. 4. The place is too small. Not enough seats and crowds quickly. I have partitioned the other Geno’s I know of in Gilbert and that one has never had any problems so I’ll tell you what, message me when you are up to par with the flagship and I’ll swing back by and update review if I find it to be true.

We ordered a 10″ pizza with gluten-free crust… with feta cheese and mushrooms, and fries. They said delivery would take about an hour, and they were right. We’re literally a mile from them so that was kind of crazy but they told us ahead of time so not a huge deal. I can’t comment on what the restaurant looks like on the inside because I’ve never been. We’ll order again but the lack of cheese will ensure that this isn’t our regular pizza spot. Even with us getting *extra* cheese, there still wasn’t a lot. I’m a total cheeseaholic, so that was disappointing. Food was hot and fresh, flavors were great, delivery driver was friendly. Can’t really complain. :)

Just happened to be in the area today and was looking for a quick lunch. The GENO’S Pizza sign jumped right out from the street. All I could think about was eating some Chicago style pizza or sandwiches. Took a BIG gamble since they changed the spelling a tiny bit. Inside is very nice and casual. They have several TVs and some colorful photographs hanging on the walls. Place is clean and very tidy. Took one look at the menu and instantly I knew this is not Chi-town. This is NY style and a poor rendition of it. Yikes! Ordered the Geno’s Famous Cheese Whiz Steak and Onions with some fried Shrooms on the side. Ended up getting The Steak & Cheese brought to my table. This is a totally different kind of sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes and them some. Where’s the Whiz? The menu says the sub rolls are made fresh daily. It was definitely fresh and not what I would call a sub roll. More like a chuck of pizza dough or a giant bread stick cut in half. The toppings were the same things that are put on their pizzas. Didn’t seem like there was much Steak on it either. Sorry Geno … maybe my palate is just too spoiled for this place. ENJOY! 2.5STARS
