Oregano’s Pizza Bistro

Service was horrible. Not only did the server talk me out of the Chicago style deep dish (he said it was going to take over an hour) and recommended a pan instead but the pan took over an hour anyway. When I got the pizza finally, everyone had already gotten their food and ate most of what they had. Funny thing is I saw the table next to me, that was seated after me order the deep dish. Their deep dish came 15 minutes before I got mine. Pizza was average at best.

Good food, great service, much needed addition to Queen Creek. We stayed outside almost to closing and we were never pressured to close out or leave. Best spot in area by far!

After waiting an hour for our table – we experienced the worst service. Our salad came out fast but our 2 pizzas took forever. After we complained we received our pizza 15 min later. We ordered our desert before we got our pizzas and got those 30 min later. Total we got there at 5:45 and left at 9:00. A huge waste of time.

Love the never ending bowl of pasta. Thin crust pizza and the Diet Pepsi is on point. Guacatoni is amazing as well.

2:30pm on a Tuesday and I am told 20 minute wait for a single. Over ½ of the tables empty. I have been in the Restaurant business for 30 years and it drives me crazy when businesses do this. I get that it is afternoon and not a full staff. I would rather you seat me and let me know it will be a few extra minutes to get service. Needless to say Buffalo Wild Wings is now serving me wings intend of pizza.

Great food. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that refills were slow.

Oregano’s is one of our family favorites. We are totally excited that Queen Creek has been blessed with this family owned gem. We have been to many if the east valley locations and have tried numerous menu items and have never been disappointed. The QC location is wonderful and the food has lived up to our high standards!

I was really excited to try this Oreganos considering it had opened recently. However, I was extremely disappointed in the service. The other valley Oreganos locations always have the most outgoing and attentive staff. Unfortunately, this location did not reach the usual standards. Our waiter was not helpful nor was he friendly. The wait time was said to be half an hour… there was no one left by the time we were called an hour later. Not only did we wait double the time, we were also seated outside (which had been available from the time we got there).
The only reason I give this location any stars is because of the great food, which came out fresh and hot. The portions are large and very filling. Plus, the cookie with ice cream (I believe the official term is «pazooki») is to die for.
I will most definitely be returning to Oreganos, but I will not come back to this location.

I don’t usually write reviews but Tiffany was the best server I’ve even had! She was so great with my two little boys. We usually have to eat really fast or put a movie on our phones to keep the kids from having a melt down, but not tonight. She brought their drinks and food right away. Everytime she came by she talked and joked with them, which made this a great meal. Our food was delicious as well! We will definitely be back!

On Saturday 1÷16÷16 my wife and I went to eat with some friends at oreganos. When we first sat down we ordered soft drinks. A couple of us ordered ice tea. When the drinks came, the ice tea tasted really bad. It’s like it has been sitting out all day. The waitress was quick to give us something else to drink. We ordered our food and when it came we discovered another problem. The food on all four plates was cold. Nothing was warm. I think the tea was warmer then the food. We ate it anyway because we didn’t want to wait any longer. The pasta felt real gummy like it wasn’t completely done. The food didn’t have any flavor what so ever. Over all, I was very disappointed with our visit. I’m not sure if I’ll even return or recommend this place to others. I felt like I wasted my money.

This Oregano’s is the same as all of their locations! It takes forever to get a seat as they purposely build small locations, but the bar area is pretty cool and the staff is the same.

Unique Italian.
I was so excited when I saw Oregano’s come to my area. I’ll never understand why they don’t build them twice the size because they’re so awesome EXPECT a wait. If you order a deep dish, expect a 60min wait (the menu warns you too), but they’re excellent. Thus, the long wait time because it’s no secret they’re worth ordering. Best chicken Cesar salad ever.

I really do like this restaurant, but for various reasons I like it but don’t yet love it. So here it is: the ambience is perfect. The décor is beautiful and the atmosphere is cozy. It’s the perfect place to spend 30 – 60 minutes with family, especially now as the holidays are upon us. Some things are lacking, however. The food arrives sporadically. I have a family of 6 and everyone got their food about 5 – 10 minutes before I got mine. I really cherish the idea of «family dinner» so I didn’t like that everyone was halfway finished with their dinner before I had started mine. The service was good but a bit flustered, which I am assuming is due to a minimal lack of staffing.
I believe this place will improve with time when it comes to service, and we will definitely return. I will update my review accordingly. All in all, I think a trip to the Queen Creek Oregano’s is worth it!

What great service I received from Eduardo yesterday! My boyfriend and I came in for lunch since we were visiting family in QC. Apparently, this place is new. Yet, Eduardo took the best care of us! He suggested the Diablo shrimp since I told him I loved spicy food, and it was absolutely delicious! Not only did he recommend a dish for my palate, he was very charming and funny. He obviously is knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience here at Oregano’s extremely enjoyable. It is apparent that the poor reviews are a result of not having him take care of you. Thank you Eduardo for the great service! We will be back just to see you! And of course for that Diablo!
Side note: save room for that pizookie! If you don’t know what that is, just go and find out. You won’t regret it.

Went here yesterday. There was a average wait of about 20 – 25 min so we changed our seating preference to first available. Got seated in about five minutes on the patio. It was a totally shaded table and the weather was fantastic. Staff was friendly and quick to help and our server was a gem. It was out first visit to Oreganos. We had cheese bread as an appetizer. Followed by a big Caesar salad, this could easily feed four adults. Fresh in house baked croutons elevated this salad to an A+! Next up was a 12 in thin style pepperoni pizza and the chicken parm sandwich. This sandwich was on amazing bread and came with yummy waffle fries. This sandwich was heavenly. Although, a very large entrée, I don’t think I could have finished it if we weren’t eating family style. No room to try dessert here. Took home leftovers and enjoyed them tonight. We will go back for sure!

I ate here with my family last night. We had the cheesy bread (very good) and the bruschetta (not so good, all I could taste was pepper) to start. We ordered the 12″ stuffed pizza with pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, and roasted garlic. Pizza took about an hour but was fantastic. Our server was ok, said she was brand new, so it makes sense that she didn’t seem totally comfortable in her position yet. If I could do half-​stars, I would probably rate this restaurant at 3.5 stars, as they still have plenty room to improve.

I typically enjoy Oreganos, but this was so far beyond the experience I was expecting! This was easily the best Oreganos experience I’ve ever had. To start with, the staff was friendly and our server was absolutely fantastic! If I remember correctly, her name was Cara, and she did such an awesome job of recommending foods and being polite and conversational to my wife and I, that it made the experience that much better. It was absolutely a delight. This is not to mention the food, which was stellar. Incredibly flavorful and lots of it. We easily had tons to take home. We had the Boom Dip, (recommended by our server), along with the Pesto Penne, the Ozone Calzone, and a Pizookie, (of course!), and it was all absolutely fantastic. This was all in all an amazing experience! Definitely recommended.

Well most of these reviews are about the staff, my review is about the food. This is a new restaurant in Queen Creek people, you are going to wait AT LEAST an hour for a table and staff is going to be on the fritz for a little until they get their groove down. This happens every time a new place opens up out here, so we decided to get it to go, smarter choice so we thought. I ordered lunch about 12:15 figuring it would be a while for them to make it, so our pick up time was 1:15 (an hour for a to go order, ouch). When we picked up our food at 1:10, nothing was hot, you could tell it was made a while ago and was just sitting out waiting for us to pick up, if you are going to tell us a prompt pick up time, don’t let the food sit out forever. We already waited in line to get our to go order, I wasn’t going to send the food back. Got it home, yep, ice cold!
I got the pesto pasta, my boyfriend got the regular spaghetti with sausage, my sister got a pizza and my son got a slice of pizza. After we all re-​heated our food, we finally got to eat. Unfortunately I only took about 3 bites of my food and I threw it away. The cheese was hard (even after I warmed it up) because it had been sitting out at the restaurant too long so it made the pasta really dry, there was hardly any sauce which made it taste really bland and I couldn’t eat any of the bread bowl it came in because it was rock hard and stale. My boyfriends spaghetti was ok, nothing special about it, the sausage was nice and spicy so that was good. My sisters pizza was also tasteless (you’re a pizza place, how does a pepperoni pizza not taste good!?) Then last my sons cheeses pizza, cold and hard as a rock. Luckily he’s 5 so pizza is pizza, he was the only one who ate all their food. Oregano’s I know you just opened and things are rough at the beginning, having poor staff is one thing, but serving awful food… come on?! A waste of $ 50 on family dinner, ended up having to cook something because everyone was still hungry.

We tried out the new place and were highly disappointed in the service. We waited over 50 minutes at 5PM on a Sunday which is to be expected so that was not an issue. The new exterior bar/​sitting area is much better than the other locations and the fake grass out front was great for the kids to hang while we waited.
The issue we had was the experience after we were seated. We had to ask twice for plates and napkins from our waiter and he forgot our drinks more than once. We ordered two 18″ pizzas. Not deep dish, nothing fancy. We waited and waited.
There was a family that was seated 20 minutes after we were and received their pizzas before us. The waiter came out and tried telling us the kitchen was backed up. He clearly did not know we noticed the table behind us.
We finally asked for the manager and that was also a very awkward situation. She came to out table and told us that we had asked to see her over 10 minutes ago, but she was pulled to another issue. Not something you tell a frustrated customer. Second she asked us what WE wanted her to do about receiving poor service. Again not something you ask a frustrated customer.
WE — not the manager — figured out what we felt was fair after sitting and staring at each other for another awkward moments while she and the waiter stand staring at us.
Going to dinner here should not be a 2.5 hour affair. Not worth the hassle and wait for a thin low topping pizza.

This was my first time at an Oreganos and I loved it. My fiancé and I shared the calamari appetizer to start off and it was delicious. We shared the 10inch Chicago style deep dish cheese pizza. One slice was more then enough for both of us. It did take about 40 minutes for the pizza, but it was well worth the wait. I didn’t mind the wait, since you know they are going to make that pizza the right way & not something quick & frozen. The staff was great and our waiter was very friendly. The only down part is the extra parking is across the street in the dirt field & the walking space in the restaurant is very tight. Besides that, I can’t wait to go again and try one of their sandwiches.
