Amazingggggg. I happened to walk by and grab a quit bite and I fell in love. I always get the chicken with lemon BBQ and hot sauce with the yummy bread. I’ve tried the beef and it’s very good but I prefer the chicken. I live in manhattan and travel all the way over here just to eat some of this. I can say it’s one of the best Shish kabobs I’ve had.

Broadway Shish Kabob Cart is an interesting place with some of the wildest hours. I have had meat on a stick at 2PM as well as 4AM and it seems that it is always open. The meat on a stick is pretty good and at $ 2.75 a stick it has great value. I think this is true NYC having a quick bite as you walk the streets of the hood. Broadway Shish Kabob Cart seems to have always 3 or 4 people snacking, so I feel comfortable with product rotation. Any way, who does not like grill meat. Broadway Shish Kabob Cart has beef, chicken, pork on a stick with a slice of bread or you can order a sandwich. I seem to go for the beef with lemon and hot sauce, Greek style. Now this is not medium cook meat, but well done meat that has grill and charcoal flavor. Very tasty and addictive. Overall this is a Astoria tradition, «to stop by and enjoy a meat on a stick». It is tasty. it is good, it is cheap and this is a great way to subdue hunger pains. Chow down.

I wish they had negative stars, because that’s what his guy deserves. Don’t get me wrong. If you are in the mood for charred rat meat with gritty sour sauce then pal you are in luck. If you like food, please go elsewhere. Perhaps two blocks west on Broadway were you can get amazing snacks from a real street cart. Not a hobo with a profound hatred for humanity. No matter how many times I warn people away there are still a few that go, because how can you screw up shish kabob that badly? The rest of the day in the bathroom if you are lucky and the emergency room if you are not, that is how. AVOID
