Could be cleaner, but it’s the part of queens that is the problem. I took my mom here for a restful day away from the nursing home and was pleased to find quiet benches along a pond that had geese and turtles and many other forms of animal life that makes captain tilly’s park home. There were baby geese and ducks everywhere and turtles basking in the sun.

There’s no reason to seek out this little park, but if you happen to be in Jamaica, it’s a calm oasis. I sometimes bring my lunch and eat it in the park. There’s a pond. There are green spaces and places to sit.
