Nice local spots to get delicious Dominican food. I typically order the same thing. It’s either the pepper steak or the fried chicken. It’s always really good. Are usually good at with yellow rice and beans. I wish they did have the yellow rice with the pigeon peas already mixed in. Other than that Justin has a great Neighborhood Restaurant. There’s not much seating but you can sit and eat your meal there. I would recommend take out. And to my knowledge I still do not accept credit cards for whatever crazy reason I don’t know. So the only hassle is for me to run to the bank and take out some cash. Still the food is worth it so can’t complain too much. Also, if you haven’t tried a morir sonando, you must! Delicious drink with orange juice milk and sugar. Sounds basic but it’s amazing! Overall this is a great place oh, definitely visit.

It’s got a decent décor and ambiance. A lot more put together than other Spanish restaurants I’ve been to. I had rotisserie chicken and yellow rice. The chicken wad not too flavorful and a little dry. Plantains weren’t sweet either. All-in-all the food was fresh and hot. I’ll probably only go back to support the shop just cause there were all young men working behind the counter and in the kitchen; thats a rarity and pretty noble in this day. Its important to support small businessess.

I’ve had better, but overall I just had a bad experience. The food was not as flavorful as I would have liked, and the chicken was dry. I’m hoping my bad experience relates to me going close to closing one night, because since it’s in my neighborhood I would like to try it again. I’ll never forget the flies flying around inside however…

Justin’s is pretty decent. It’s local to me so when I feel like eating Hispanic food, I head right over to Justin’s. They have a variety of Hispanic food. Anything you can think of. However if you don’t see anything in the buffet style layout that they have, I suggest you call ahead to order. Or just call ahead period to see what they have. Their options change daily. They also have seating. The food: I personally feel like all their stew chicken, stew beef, etc tastes the same. Just different meats. The rice is good and so are the beans. Salads are great.(I’m a huge salad lover) Cons– They don’t take cards –_– There’s been times where I was feening for Hispanic food and wanted Justin’s but didn’t feel like going to my bank and I refuse to use an atm and pay their fees plus my fees. Times are changing. Just take cards! I guess hey have a reasoning behind it so I guess. I recommend this place and I will return

Just picked up dinner from here… Definitely a new go to for us in the neighborhood! Food was fresh, big portions, and affordable! Pepper steak and tostones were sooo good! They also deliver. Keep in mind they’re cash only.

Their food is okay. The rotisserie chicken is a little salty and overpriced for me. I can get a nice rotisserie chicken from Walmart for less money.

Sooo good! So convenient for their delivery! Ive been eating with them for about 5 years strong and not once disappointed. My favorite is the pepper steak with yellow rice and beans or garlic shrimp with yellow rice and beans! Not much of a real dine in I would suggest it as an in & out although you can sit it is very tight

Loveee their food. I smelled it before I even walked in. People are very nice. Very welcoming and friendly, which is always icing on the cake. Sometimes the chicken can be a little dry but it’s good. I love the rice and beans. I will definitely be going back when I am back in the area.

Giving it one star for delivery! Do not call if you are hungry. Always takes more than 45 minutes to deliver. Called at 5:25 — it is now 6:25 and nothing. Food is good but arrives cold!

After passing this place countless times I decided to give them a try since they are close to home and I usually drive across town for my Hispanic food. Walked in and saw that none of the gentlemen serving the food were wearing gloves and one of them was taking cash payments. With that I walked out. Proper sanitary measures are extremely important to me having gotten food poisoning from another restaurant in the past. Didn’t try the food and I won’t be back. You get one chance with me and Justin’s missed the mark.

Got a lunch plate with pernil, yucca, cabbage salad, plantains, white rice with chicken stew gravy, all so good! Friendly prompt service, pleasant enough atmosphere, reasonable prices. Parking is a little rough but you can find a spot.

One day I drove right up to this place. Good a thing that I called because I only had my Debit card with me. I spoke to a nice Gentleman on the phone and I asked if his Business conveniently takes Credit/Debit cards he said NO! So because he didn’t take Credit/Debit cards I walked right next door to the Popeyes. Note you all you Unilocalers One of my Biggest Pet-peeves is how a Restaurant doesn’t take Credit /Debit Cards. Cash isn’t the only type of Currency! We are living in an age or Society where Credit/Debit cards are accepted now. Weather you are a small Restaurant or Big Restaurant Owner you have to accept Credit/Debit cards. This is a Bring Cash establishment. Other that that if your looking for great Authentic Spanish Food this is the place to come. In fact this is the only place to come because it is the only Spanish place in Rosedale Queens NY. There Plantains are sweet and there Yellow rice is on point really. I’m giving this place 4 stars because they really need to work on there Credit/Debit card system they are losing so much money and potential from not having a Credit system.

There’s in consistency with prices here. One day it’s 6.50 for a small plate. The next it’s 8.00. Actually, paid 6.50 all last week and three days ago. This is not the first time. Today really pisssd me off. Lunch is not worth 8.00. The guy literally told me he would rather not sell me the food. He wants his money’s worth. What kind of neighborhood loyalty or customer service is that!!!

Their pulled pork is good and I love the skin on the chicken. They have family sizes, too. The sweet bananas are really delicious, but very filling, so keep that in mind. Service is fast– they a few tables or take out.

One word to describe this place would be is Da Bomb. The food here is prepared with passion and pride. I can tell they’ve marinated the pulled pork for long time and they took time making the dish. I’m fan of this restaurant. When you see fireman and police man from local department coming in you know it’s good food.

I was happy to find Justin’s because it offers variety(Latino) in an area that has mostly Chinese, Caribbean and fast-food fare. Their pork pasteles are as delicious and fresh as homemade. The potato salad was also authentic and tasty. Looking forward to the rotisserie chicken which has a nice rich color, and crisp skin. Portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the price is right.(Note: Tables are available, but take-out, or delivery is recommended.)

I live about 10 minutes away, and I have always passed by with curiosity. Something about Justin’s looked appealing to me. Perhaps it was the rotisserie chickens I would see from my car window. It just had an authentic feel to me. Anyway, so about a month back, I decided to give the place a try. I loved what I saw when I came in. We got a take out order of their roasted chicken and roasted pork, as well as white rice, yellow rice, and some more dishes that I don’t recall(oh yes, plantains). I loved it! My personal favorite was the pork! It was juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked! The skin was also crispy the way I love it! I’m glad to know that there is another saving grace around here for when I get hungry and want to take out!
