We stopped on our way to New Bedford. My son heard this was a good restaurant and he was right. Our server was so pleasant. The menu was amazing and so clever. I had the pot pot potato. This super stuffed potato was heaped high with melt in your mouth pot roast. I could only eat half. My husband had pulled pork quesadilla’s. It was delicious. My son ordered the meat ball stroganoff pasta. We were all fighting over who had the best dinner. I do not live near here but I will certainly come again when I pass by. Everyone should.

Well took a shot on the way home from a soccer tournament. Quiet place like church inside, but we put in some XM radio on our phone and had a great meal. If you like American fare this place was great. Bacon cheese fries, amazing wings, and the Ed Mcbain burger, all great. It was a weeks worth of exercise but worth it! Service was good, a little short handed but late Sunday afternoon, no worries. Recommend it.

We had two different servers. Our first server my guess was the manager and our second was the bartender. The manager didn’t believe me when I told her that a passport card was an accepted valid Id for drinks. I’m not sure why I’d lie about something when I have my serv safe for alcohol. But Anyways, she checked with the bartender and they accepted it. My food on the other hand was ‘eh’. I had the bacon wrapped scallops and the stuff I can buy from target tasted better than those. These were deep fried and if they weren’t, they sure were shriveled up like they were. I had a Long Island to drink and I’ve had better. Also after we got our drinks we told our server to give us a minute to decide what we wanted to eat. She gave us about 15mins before ever coming back. Service was slow and there were barely any people in the bar. I’d totally give the place a chance again.

In town for a convention, and had dinner on a Thursday night. Ordered a taco salad, which is a pretty unadventurous choice, but it was fine. Very crowded place and service was a little slow. Had a good draft hefeweiss.

Doing the Ren Faire thing for the weekend and staying at the Manheim Hilton. Front desk staff recommended the Quentin Tavern. Bad choice overall. Four person party: two of us had the Delmonico steak meal and the other two had the ‘Crabtastic’ crab cakes. The crab cakes had shells and the potatoes were practically raw. The Delmonicos were very fatty and only edible with A1 steak sauce. The price would’ve been good if the food were decent. My guess? Stick with the traditional fried food/bar fare.

Our party of four was treated fabulously. The menu is reasonably priced. We had chili as an appetizer and it was simply outstanding. The best. Not too spicy. The elder mac & cheese is to die for. The desserts were tremendous especially the cheesecake. Price is very reasonable.

I spend weekends just a few miles away and have tried to like this restaurant. It has character. However the food is a mixed bag everytime with not allot of redeeming qualities except a full bar. Everytime I have ordered a medium done Kobe burger and the first time it came out rare and bleeding. Today I figured I’d try again and it came out Well Done and dry. The waitress did not come back for 20 minutes after delivering the food and by that time everyone else had finished the meal and I complained to the waitress and she just asked me if I wanted new one and did not offer a refund or discount. The Sample appetizer is huge and could feed 4.

Ate here with a large group for their Monday night wing & $ 1.75 draft special. Seated right away & they took reservations for our group. I was impressed with the menu, lots of selection & burgers were huge & a lot of different options available. Quesadillas are fantastic. Wings were good, just not very crispy. Highly recommend their«boom boom» sauce for the wings. It’s a combination of Sriracha & ranch. Very mild spice with a sweetness to it. Wings weren’t overly sauced though. Service was slow, but that could have been due to our party of 10. I definitely plan on visiting here again to try more off their menu.

Great find. We had reservations for 6. We arrived and were promptly seated. Our server was Katrina. She was super. The restaurant was very clean. Nice atmosphere. The menu had a lot of items on it & naturally we had questions. Katrina knew her stuff and always smiling. We had Reuben sandwich, absolute seafood pasta, pulled pork sandwich, Mac & cheese, chicken and meatloaf and one or two other items. All different. Everything was cooked perfect. For dessert was peach cobbler & ice cream and some chocolate thing. Oh so good. Prices were very reasonable. I don’t generally give five stars but this place had it all & everything was delicious. We will return.

This restaurant was excellent. Real unexpected gem. The cocktails were very good quality and extremely inexpensive. Kids Portions were large and delicious. The burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. I got the burger with blue cheese sriracha and fried onions. The wings were also excellent and the desert is not to be missed! Especially the chocolate cake with peanut butter icing and the Kentucky Derby pie. Don’t miss your chance to eat at this local wonder!

Large menu. Had the McBain burger which was good but none of the burgers we ordered were grilled to the desired temperature. Everything was well done so why did they ask? The onion rings are good and so was the siracha chicken sandwich. Service was slow and we saw our lunch sitting in the window dying. The burgers may have been to temp if they didn’t sit under heat lamps :-( We will try it again.

The food here is very good and the menu always seems to have that one thing you’re hungry for. Still, you must try the Ed McBain burger. It will knock your socks off. Not much else to say. The staff has always been friendly, but this is one of those places where they seat you and leave you to enjoy your meal.

Have been here many times mostly in the summer to take advantage of the deck. Very good food, good service and super deck with a tree that is great. Also has music on some nights. Gets very crowded but has a nice bar for waiting.

Everything you would expect from hometown restaurant. Friendly wait staff, hearty food and a slew of «regulars.» We must have stood out as «out of towners» even though we grew up here! I remember being deterred previously by the number of bikes parked outside. Not my kinda crowd. At lunchtime the atmosphere was pleasant. We were seated in the bar area with high too tables although they do have larger tables for dinner time. The place is ancient(1700s) but has the modern conveniences of large screen tv’s(to watch Eagles games, of course). We started off with the spinach crab dip which was served with pita and chips. It was super creamy and rich! They have a small selection of beer, but Troegs on tap is always a winner. I had the Hamin Around sandwich which is warm and melted Swiss cheese served on pretzel bread. The best. My companions had the smoke out turkey salad which was ok and the pulled pork sandwich which was fine minus the soggy bun. I would go back for the hot food and not so much the salads. All in all, a-ok!
