Standard fair hamburgers, fish and chips, steak, chicken etc. Very expensive for what u get, resort type pricing and u don’t get much. The staff does the best it can do. 5 bucks for a side of coleslaw, but I have to say the coleslaw was great. We had it with our seafood basket. The atmosphere was dated but clean.

The food was impressively bland. We got the clam strips and cod and there was almost no meat. Once we got our food the staff completely disappeared. We had extra food and instead of a to-go box they took it and crawled back into their mysterious lair. On the bright side their card reader wasn’t working so we ate for free. Basically we got what we paid for…

The food was generally good, and there was lots to eat. The staff was great! I loved the interior, but the equipment fans too noisy for the place to be more than a diner. We had dinner and breakfast, both meals quite good.

Terrible service, one waitress for the whole place. When I complained the waitress started crying and walked off the job. Bet the service got a whole lot worse after that. Go elsewhere.

It’s our first time here but will definitely be back the food was good. My wife really like the biscuits and gravy and I like the corned beef hash. Quite generous portions and good service, we were originally headed down to the timber House for breakfast on Sunday morning but then realize that the timber house changed their hours so that they’re not open till 11. That was their loss and our gain, we will definitely be back here again. The Iced-Tea was good it didn’t taste like it was made in the coffee pot so that’s a real plus.

Logger’s Landing has it all: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and booze! I’ve been stopping by Logger’s regularly for several years, sometimes more than once in the same day. Part of the reason for this is there just aren’t many dining and/or drinking options in Quilcene, but also this place is just that good. You really can’t go wrong with a bacon & cheese omelette or an order of B&G and coffee early in the morning, and in the evening they’ve always got a delicious daily special in addition to the regular menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads, seafood, etc. Service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. The lounge here is pretty much *it* as far as nightlife in Quilcene goes– they’ve got a TV, pool table, and jukebox for entertainment. There’s also a good sized outdoor beer garden(for the couple of months a year when the weather cooperates). The one glaring downside to this establishment are their evening hours. The grill usually closes by 7:30pm, even earlier in the winter. The bar will remain open for a bit later if there are enough people, but I’ve gone by at just after 8 to find the whole place closed. Guess that’s just the way it is in a small town, though. Get it while you can!

I tend too be a little partial to small town dinners and rate them in a class of there own. this is definitely one of the better ones in the area. Good food, big portions, reasonable prices, and a broad menu. Thats all I Needed. oh… and they took my check which is cool as most byway touristy places don’t.

I would give 3 stars for the food, 4 for the charming, very clean restaurant & friendly service. The food is satisfying, nothing spectacular, but after a hike you will appreciate the hot, fresh, well– prepared food. Biscuits & gravy were pretty good, bacon, eggs & hash browns were standard in flavor, but prepared well. They were nice enough to let us order breakfast during lunch service & I would bet the hash-browns would have been excellent had I gotten them earlier in the morning. Mine tasted slightly stale. The prices seemed a bit high as well, but still would recommend you stop here after your hike & fill your belly with hot, decent food.

I had to give this place a try based on the previous Unilocal reviews. This is a very small backwoods not-fancy café, but the food and the service were both excellent. My kids are pretty picky eaters. I was overjoyed when they said they would still make breakfast items even though it was after 11 a.m. My kids had french toast and they raved about how good it was. My 8 year old took one bite and declared THATALONE was worth coming on this hiking trip with Daddy. I had the house burger served on toasted sourdough and it was pretty tasty. They make their own fries there, and they were darn good — on par with In and Out fries down in California. Like every other small town restaurant in WA, they serve Pepsi products.(Blech) All in all, we were very glad we stopped here for lunch.

Stopped here with my daughter during a recent motorcycle trip. This place is cool. Perfect atmosphere for it’s setting. Very clean. We ate dinner here after it was suggested by the folks at the motel next door. We both ordered burgers and fries and WOW, they were good! Our waitress was extremely friendly and the service was fast. Good sized portions and a good value. We planned to get up the next morning and put on a few miles before stopping for breakfast. As we were leaving after dinner a nice fellow in the parking lot asked us how we enjoyed our dinner. He told us that we really had to try breakfast because their bacon was awesome. That did it for us, we are both huge fans of good bacon. They open at 7:00am and we were there when they opened. We both ordered bacon and eggs with hash browns and toast. YES! The bacon was beautiful, and plentiful. The hash browns had the perfect amount of crispness on the outside. Our plates could have been on the cover of a book about perfect breakfasts. The strips of bacon were large, thick, perfectly crispy and DELICIOUS. This is a really friendly place and it seemed that almost everyone was a local and knew each other. We enjoyed chatting with some of the locals and it was obvious that they ate here regularly and we certainly understood why. I will head to Quilcene again just to eat at Logger’s Landing. You don’t find places like this every day.

Can I say perfectly crispy edges on perfect pancakes… These are the BEST pancakes on the face of this planet. I have been going here for over a decade for the pancakes. I hear from my meat eating boyfriend that the other item’s on the menu are good as well. But seriously, the pancakes ROCK!!!

This is definitely the place to to catch up with the goings-on in tiny Quilcene. My husband and I came in first when we were staying at the Mount Walker Inn next door — within stumbling distance! Good solid«guilty pleasure» food and they are happy to make substitutions any way you like. If Thais is cooking, you are in for some good food. Now we live here in Quilcene and we find ourselves happily in at Logger’s a few times a week for dinner, football on TV or just to grab a beer. Great place. We used to giggle at the very«un-PC» name, being from the Bay Area, where people like to pretend that nobody cuts down trees… but now we know that they do indeed cut down trees and we are OK with it. Don’t miss seeing the vintage logging photos around the dining room. Really amazing, kind of like the last buffalo hunters.

the second star is only because if I happen to come in here on a lonely or desperate night, I may be particularly in need. believe me I know that the northwest is known for it’s seafood, especially in the dungeness/dabob bay area, but growing up we always called this food ‘heart attack on a plate’. sure you can eat fried clam strips, french fries with tartar sauce, and a milkshake… you just may not wake up in the morning. consequently I know the waitresses and it’s such a small town that I don’t want anything to happen to my family or me. it can’t help that I’m a vegetarian.

I’ve been wracking my brain for almost a year now trying to remember the name of this place. Thanks Drucilla! I go camping along Hood Canal every year, and every trip includes a stop here. It’s the kind of place you drive by way out in the country and nearly cause a pileup behind you because you slam on the brakes and swerve across the street to get into the parking lot. It IS very Twin Peaks-like and the Biscuits and Gravy are the best I’ve had outside of Georgia. We usually get standard food, like hamburgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. Who wants to spoil the mood of a camping trip with high falutin’ food? Gimme the classics, and gimme Logger’s Landing. I love my yearly rut.

Not that many of you would ever wander out to the extremely tiny town of Quilcene, Washington located within the Olympic National Rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula in Northwest Washington State(whoo)… However, I have to give props to my hometown greasy spoon. It has so much character! Think TWINPEAKS but without the scary’s. The Biscuits & Gravy are fantastic(on the menu as «Served All Day or until we run out») and they have the best macaroni salad on the planet that you can order as a side with anything or, simply on its own. Say«HI» to the regulars: the good old boys, my childhood bus-driver Geri, Dolores Handly… But DONOT, even though you may be tempted, DONOT sit at the single round table at the front of the restaurant. That is unofficially reserved for the above-mentioned good old boys. If you’re curious — they even have a friggin’ website, . Peace.
