Quilcene Village Store

*Loved this store, lots of great goods from staples to Beechers cheese, Landjager (Yum) and gourmet pack and go goodies
*Local breads and baked goods at the counter, I was very surprised by the variety
*Great place to stop for sundries before backpacking, highly recommend

Quilcene is a pretty small town so it’s even more impressive that a store with such quality and selection exists here. They offer a wide variety of food and productions; most are local and eco friendly. The veggies and fruit were fairly limited (which probably speaks to the time of year I visited) but what they did have was good quality.
There was a surprising amount of gluten free and «fancy» products — not the s’mores fixin’s that you might expect from a small country store. In addition to produce, there is also a bulk area, a wide selection of local wines and hard ciders, and a really impressive personal care section.
The staff were really friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to answer my questions in advance of my visit.

For a small store just starting up this business so far is doing well. I can’t wait till they have more products and bring more business in. Its good to finally have local products in the store and people are very polite.
