Went here last Friday night with a few friends. I was completely blown away and surprised. Apparently in the past couple of months they got a new cook and kitchen along with a new menu. The food was extremely good. I will definitely be coming back here often to eat. The DJ was wonderful playing a ton of great songs that everyone will know. I cannot get over it though on how incredible the food was. Everything was completely fresh and over-the-top excellent! We all had a great time.

Choice of beers is not up my alley but the fish tacos are first class. The French fries are awesome(unfortunately) and I tried the chicken and mashed from my friends which was also good. It was surprisingly good given that this place was our third choice and haven’t heard that much about it.

Well this place is ultimately still The Stadium rebranded. The setup is better, both bars are lively and I did not have a problem finding a seat. Staff and atmosphere are great. The food is still pretty terrible. I can’t comment on the apps, however the pizza and grilled cheese are awful. Skip the food and come here for the drinks.

We found out 2 weeks ago that my best friend was moving and had a shirt window of when we could throw him a party! We scrambled to find a place and luckily iron furnace was available! They set us up in a separate room in the back and we ordered food which was amazing! Bar pizza was so so good! The managers were great to work with and very responsive to our calls/emails! The waitress was so good and so quick! There was 25 of us and she was very attentive and no one went thirsty for long! Kristen was awesome!!! She learned names and was cracking us up! Bethany was wicked helpful as well and who we communicated with. The manager on duty who’s name skipped my mind was very nice! She had pink hair(want to make sure she gets a shot out). Thanks for making our last night with our friend great!

My girlfriend and I went here for dinner on a Sunday night. We ordered two bloody mary’s, which were their house mix. They were watered down and had no spice to them. My girlfriend ordered fish and chips. The fish was over battered and bland. I ordered the crunch burger which was pretty good. I also got the sweet tater tots which were over seasoned and came with a side of chipotle ketchup which was on a fire! My girlfriend couldn’t even finish one it was way too spicy and we like spicy foods! Very nice interior and nice vibe, wish the food matched.

The food was just okay. We got the sliders which had good flavor but were very fatty. The shrimp ceviche was decent I guess but we weren’t blown away. The service was subpar. The server was dressed like a customer and was all over us at first and then made me wait 15 – 20 minutes for a Budweiser. The bathrooms are not attached to the restaurant and you have to walk through a cloud of smoke causing your hair to smell when you leave. No one is missing anything if they don’t come here.

The good news. It is better than the former Stadium. The bad news… it’s still just okay. My burger was tasty, a bit overcooked but not worth sending it back. The French Dip special was bad, I think it was the special for a reason. We had an issue with cold fish, the manager came over spoke to us and got us some hot fish. Turned out great. Issue came with the fact we got the manager because our server left for over 15 minutes! Right as we got our food. Disappeared. Gone. Last thing, Beer menu. Handed us a beer menu and proceeded to show us that 2⁄3 of the beers were no long on tap. What is on tap? «I’m not sure» she said. My Dad then asked what they have dark since the Porter wasn’t available. She named an IPA. Yeah, if you know beer IPA is rarely dark. They definitely need to have up to date beer info and also educate the servers.

Love this place!!! Lyla is my favorite bartender!!! She super friendly and attentive and always makes a great drink. The place has really great wings and has even better burgers. Definitely a place to watch a game or just link up with some old friends and have a few drinks! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a good pub experience or just great atmosphere to drink and have good convo this is the place to be

My boyfriend and I sat at the bar waiting for someone to notice us for a solid 20 minutes while the bartenders continued their tasks and completely disappeared. We could have poured our own drinks and no one would have noticed. There was a large group of about 10 eight year old girls with their moms running around, screaming, and dropping silverware etc. the whole time we were there. The place was empty for a Friday night, definitely an awkward situation. Be careful if you sit at the bar on the right side in front of the beer taps… There’s a bar that perfectly covers your view to the TV, as well as the server… They literally have to duck down to even see you. The worst part of it all is when they pour the beers the drains are so close to you that they splashed us and our food every single time. This place is Stadium minus the crowds.

I remember when it was the Stadium, and I enjoyed going there. I heard great things about the Iron Furnace and decided to give it a try. Nicely renovated, friendly service, yummy looking menu items. Tried the buffalo chicken pizza, and it was delicious! The first thing I tried there and it did not disappoint. Everything from the crust to sauce cheese and chicken was tasty, was enough for two of us, and made it the best pizza We have had in Quincy in a long time! Since that was a hit the first time, I will be back to try more of their food.

Came here last weekend for dinner and a few drinks and looked forward to giving this place a try. Maybe I am less than observant(more than possible.) but this looks pretty much identical to the former(could call this place«Stadium II»); from the crowd, the décor to the spotty service. Looking around, nothing stood out as having been modified or updated. That being said, the one notable improvement would be the menu. There were a lot of great sounding options and the dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen looked great. I was hoping to get something«reasonably healthy» and ordered the quinoa and arugula salad, and hit the nail on the head. It was seriously one of the best salads I have ever had. With arugula, asparagus, toasted walnuts, goat cheese and a bunch of other yummy delicious things(I had the grilled shrimp added) — it was awesome and totally fit the healthy bill. A nice surprise for bar food! The service however, was pretty spotty… Sitting at the bar we had to ask for menus, refills(they ran out of both draft beers my bf and I ordered) and then flag them down to take our CC to pay the bill — it wasn’t busy. As we were leaving, the bouncer took his place at the door and the same crowd you saw at The Stadium starting coming in. So while I would absolutely return for the food, I wouldn’t go out of my way to do so…

Moving to Quincy from Brooklyn, my fiancé and I drove in this afternoon hungry and looking for dinner. Came here after reading reviews and having been recommended to go there by our hotel front desk. It was around 5pm so it was rather dead as far as a dinner rush goes. We got the Mac n cheese for a starter(even though it’s an entrée) vas well as the green chili burger and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. Mac and cheese was oooey gooey deliciousness. The green chili burger was great and tasted like it came off of a good charcoal grill. The grilled cheese had a great combo of cheeses and the tomato soup was definitely homemade, with fresh tomato and basil. Fries were homemade, as were the onion rings. A lot of care goes into the food crafted here and our waitress Darlene was so friendly and helpful! Looking forward to coming back here now that we live in the area!

Went on a Tuesday night so the place was pretty empty. The menu was a little limited with not very unique dishes. We decided to go with the Steak Frites and Rigatoni Ragu. The rigatoni was only okay, the tomato sauce didn’t have much flavor. My boyfriend had the steak but didn’t seem too impressed with it, although he did enjoy the fries that came with it. Overall we probably won’t come back anytime soon as there are other restaurants around the area that serve similar fare. However, the service was good. The woman who waited on us was also the hostess and she was very attentive and friendly.

Excellent people watching window. One can gaze upon Alba, one of the original High Scale Establishments in Quincy, as the parade of Father Bill’s people hang out in doorways across the street with backpacks, squat in doorways, or march towards Broad St. Does Braintree host such a facility ? Very good draft menu. Rainbow Draft from RI very good although Boston priced at $ 6. Limited food menu. Burger $ 12, fries $ 2.50 more. So, it depends on what one is looking for. Quincy is transforming. We used to like the People watching window at Kelley’s(now Kama /Bistro Chi), Yankee Pot Roast was eight bucks I think, drafts no more than four bucks. Iron Furnace is an expensive window to people watch in. Not that I noted it anywhere in the facility, but be advised, that the very first Iron Works in the USA was in West Quincy next to Saint Mary’s Church, founded in 1644. ********************************************************************************************************************* ADDCOMMENT4NOV2015: They might want to knock off the fake Unilocaling, I count four now, that sort of thing grates on those of us who do it for real. They or their rep company are on the ball enough not to do the old traditional single review transparency, but they are still doing it.

Recently came here for dinner after seeing some pictures of the new renovations online. I was very impressed. They have a large selection of beers on draft as well as cans and bottles. We started off with the Pita Nachos. Pita pieces were a good choice rather than regular tortilla chips. Could have used some extra sour cream on the side, but they had a great flavor and we’re just filling enough. For entrees I got the pastrami sub with Pablo onion rings. The sandwich was great! Not to big and devoured all of it with most onion rings. Boyfriend got the tacos. He asked for three but ended up with 4! What a nice surprise. After eating the wife of the new manager/owner checked in to see how everything was. We were honored that she took the time to check in. Will def. be back for food and to check out their specials.

I was a regular at the restaurant that was here before Iron Furnace so I decided to check out the new place today. It’s seat yourself, but when I did that I was ignored, so I moved to the bar after 10 minutes. The bar took my food & drink order but asked for my card to start a tab. I said, «all I’m having is this diet come and a burger.» He still printed my receipt and placed it in front of me long before my food was ready. I get that I’m sitting at the bar, but that’s still odd behavior to me. I’m not ready to pay and leave a tip till after I’ve eaten! The turkey burger and fries were delicious though, so I’ll be back.
