ZERO rating! Ty Ben T… «The founder of Jimmy John’s was just featured in Business Insider because for 5 years there have been reports and pictures of Jimmy John Liautaud standing over big game he has proudly killed including elephants, zebras, and rhinos. Anyone who ever thinks about eating at any of these restaurants again should watch a documentary on these beautiful creatures and then think of Jimmy John standing over an elephant he has proudly killed. Killing elephants? Jimmy John., was that elephant a mother? You killed a mother. Was it a child? You killed a child. Was it a father? You killed a father. You destroyed a family unit that is so tightly knit they come back to the place where it’s family members died to mourn for decades. Shame on you. If you work at Jimmy John’s, I know you need a job, but there are places without leadership that has no respect for life. BOYCOTTJIMMYJOHNS. The staff is friendly, although the music playing was kind of loud. Maybe I’m getting old lol. You can order a variety of subs and club sandwiches. It would be great if they offered salads. I ordered the Turkey sub. The bread was fresh and delicious, however there wasn’t much turkey. Parking can be tricky for this location. It’s great if you take the train or walk. I will go back and explore their other subs.

I was excited to see Jimmy John’s come to Quincy, it seemed like a respectable operation. Well ignorance is bliss and now I wish I could regurgitate the sandwich I had right back on to their counter. I’ve been waiting for this to happen for years. I have already gone twice and they haven’t even been open a week. Most of you probably have never heard of Jimmy Johns, since there weren’t any in MA until a couple years ago. I’m from Illinois, where they started, and I have missed Jimmy Johns dearly since moving out east. I would take Jimmy Johns over Subway any day! Turkey Tom is my favorite They are very fast, and you will likely get your sub handed to you before you finish paying. If you want to add or subtract certain ingredients, just tell them when you order. If you’ve never been, give it a try!

The staff are nice and facility is clean. That’s where it ends for me. You walk in the door and the menu is rather odd. Well unless you are a club sandwich aficionado… Everything has mayo in it. It’s their signature ingredient. One choice of bread type. Odd pairings of meat and ingredient. But what really turned me off is that they state right on the menu board… «Ok, our sandwiches aren’t really Gourmet…» that’s false advertising. The sign clearly states Gourmet sandwiches. I was expecting something like Sam Lagrasses in downtown Boston. Hell, Subway sandwiches are Gourmet compared to Jimmy Johns. This place is no different than every corner pizza shop’s sub-par subs that Quincy is known for. You’d seriously be better served going to Subway Sandwiches instead, save your money.
