This place sucks. Full out druggies that are over drunk. Went here for a few drinks with a couple people. We were at a hightop table by the door talking and hanging out when a girl came up and yelled at one of the girls I was with saying she took her jacket. She snatched my friends phone and started yelling again. Bouncer took her away and got the phone back. A minute later her friend came over apologized and picked up the girls jacket that was at the table next to us. A few minutes later anther girl comes over with her boyfriend and says that we were talking shit about them. Came here another time and upon the bar closing as we walked out saw a fight break out. Then 3 other fights and seemed like the whole Quincy police force showed up at that point. Seriously I’m not exaggerating, there was 4 separate fights happening at one point. A lot of people that go here are on drugs it’s obvious. Says a lot about a place when you have several bouncers but need a cop to be there also because it’s guaranteed someone is going to fight and someone is going to get arrested. Hopefully this place closes down soon like the others that were here before. Need to bring back a good Irish pub like it originally was. Need Someplace the druggie losers of Quincy won’t show up at.

This bar is awful. I never go out in Quincy and we only went there because it had music. Got there around 11 stayed till close which was only enough time for 1 drink because the bartenders are terrible, extremely slow and don’t pay any attention or even look up to see who’s waiting for a drink. My friend went to the bathroom before we left and was in line with a bunch of trashy girls when a bouncer started berating my friend and I who were waiting by the door for my friend. I don’t leave a bar full of drunks while my girlfriend is in the bathroom alone. He kept yelling at us to leave and started yelling across the bar asking if my friend was taking a «huge shit». Really? I said that’s no way to talk to people. He said I’m not getting paid to be nice to you. It’s just trashy bar with awful employees.

I went here once last summer on a Saturday night, but decided to try out the food on a week night recently. During the weekend(at least the time I went) it was packed and there was a DJ playing rap music from 2007. Not really my scene, I was only there about an hour and saw a fight outside as well as a man punch his own front tooth out right in front of us right at the bar for no reason at all, not sure what he was on…(not even kidding, he stuck his tongue out and there it was, blood and all). *****Be careful if you come here on Friday/Saturday. You WILL be confronted and have zombie looking druggy people who are too drunk/on drugs try to fight you for literally no reason. You could smile in their direction, not even looking at them, and that would be enough for them to start shit with you. Not even a fun place to people watch for this reason.***** So anyways, 6 months later we decided to try the food… Tuesday night at 6:30pm it was empty, a handful of people at the bar. The server was friendly but hovered too much. Can’t blame her though– I’d be bored working alone on clearly the slowest night of the week too. Found out there was some type of a quesadilla special on Tuesdays, but we weren’t starving and just wanted to try an appetizer and have some drinks. We got the buffalo chicken dip, the presentation was decent and there was a good amount for the price. It wasn’t your typical baked buffalo chicken dip though — there were NO chunks of chicken at all. It was over mixed I think, and had the same consistency as tuna fish. The flavor was really good, perfect amount of spice and I can handle a lot of heat! But it was obvious this wasn’t their best dish, maybe we’ll try them again sometime for takeout.

Went for dinner with my girlfriend — we were watching the Bruins play, great location for dinner and to watch a game. ABSOLUTELY recommend. We got the steak and cheese spring rolls as an appetizer, they were amazing. We both ended up getting the buffalo chicken wrap as our entre, it was incredible especially the fries. Make sure you order those if you’re entre doesn’t come with it ! Service was excellent as well! Definitely recommend as a dinner spot.

Great place to watch a game, have a few beers and grab a burger. Friday night around 7 was not packed, great bar area, lots of tv’s, great service, clean and friendly. Small menu but quality burger and fries. Nice big area to fit lots of people and I expect lots of fun.

If you haven’t been to Kelly’s Cellar on Saturday for the 10 dollar Steak tip dinner you have to go there. Can’t beat them anywhere. Plenty of TVS lots of room very nice staff. The food is great so pull into parking lot stright ahead u can’t miss the place to the left of the fours. So Remember Steak Tip Saturday u will be happy you did. Plenty of ice cold Stella Draft to rinse everything down.

This place is what Stadium used to be a great place to watch a game with friends and have good service. The great feature of this place is it has tons of TVs and great affordable bar food.

I can imagine this place gets pretty rowdy on Friday and Saturday nights. Seems like a great local bar to watch sports at. Happily surprised by the food! I got the fish n chips and my fiancé got the steak tips. Waitress didn’t inform us, but I guess we took advantage of the ‘surf n turf’ special that evening and got half off our entrees. $ 30 for two dinners and two beers. Can’t beat that!

Came in here with my boyfriend on a Sunday afternoon. There was no one there except for maybe 3 people at the bar. It took 10 minutes(not exaggerating) for the bartender to actually acknowledge us. We were visibly pissed off and finished our one drink and got the bill – only to see the bartender had added gratuity on our 2 beers. What a joke. He must have realized we were pissed from waiting for drinks and wanted to ensure he got his tip. Only other time I was in here was on a busy Saturday night. The place was filled with young 20 something’s(or teenagers – I am positive a good portion were under 21) and we saw a few fights. I won’t be back. So many other places in Quincy that have good service and aren’t filled with trash.

Rotted veggies anyone? Ordered food to go after seeing the appealing menu choices but was disappointed with the initial food order: hummus plate and cheese quesadilla; the hummus plate came with a poor assortment of veggies(cucumbers and a few celery sticks) the hummus isn’t very good and has a chunky texture. The quesadilla came with chicken on it when we specified no chicken. Because they are a newer restaurant, we thought try it again and ordered the hummus plate(came with carrots and a few peppers with cucumber and celery this time), shrimp skewers, and steak. The veggies were shrived and rotted, the shrimp skewers were very chewy and we didn’t finish a whole shrimp. I didn’t care to try the steak and threw out the food. We will stick with Cagney’s!

This review is going to be a temporary one until I can(if I ever go back) give them another chance. So on Labor Day, my husband and his family decided to give this place a shot. I saw it online a few weeks prior & we thought it was a good opportunity to try it out. When we got there, most of the people there were drinking & sitting at the bar. The waitress was nice and took our drink order. As we chatted, we realized we were waiting a while for our food. And I mean, a while. In fact, we looked around and saw our table was the only one that ordered food so we were very confused why it was taking so long. As an FYI, here’s what we ordered: 3 burgers, a veggie wrap, & an order of mozzarella sticks. Just as we felt like we couldn’t take it anymore, the food finally arrived. Well, at least for some people. They were missing the veggie wrap. As the food was being laid out, I realized that my order was wrong. When I commented on the order being incorrect, the waitress argued that the California burger didn’t come with pico the Gallo or avocado. I told her I saw the menu & I knew what I ordered. she ultimately agreed & came back with the right order, along with the veggie wrap. Now, here are the other things that went wrong with our food 1) the fries were cold(and I’m not exaggerating because one of the meals came with sweet potato fries and it was hot & crispy. The regular fries were awful) 2) my husband ordered his burger with no tomatoes and he got tomatoes 3) the veggie wrap was ordered with a side of vegetables(which the waitress told us was steamed) and came with fries 4) The wrap was sent back. When the wrap came out again, it was accompanied by the same stir fried(not steamed, as evidenced by the fact the onions were caramelized) vegetables that were inside the veggie wrap. In fact, the portion was so small that we were wondering if the«side of vegetables» wasn’t really some of the veggies they pulled out of the wrap & dumped them on the plate. We were all joking about how bad the food was when one of the people at the bar asked the bartender why she was gone for so long, only for the bartender to say: «the chef is not here today, I was cooking.» Finally, it all clicked. Our food wasn’t being prepared by a cook or by someone who’s usually in the kitchen. That explained why it was bad but there’s never a good excuse to offer inconsistent service. I wished they just told us the kitchen was closed and we could have gone elsewhere. The 20% discount we got wasn’t worth it. Maybe we would have had a better experience and this review would have been different. We did get a good laugh out of the whole thing particularly when a table mate joked that it must suck being that bartender’s husband.

So this place has specials everyday, and i went three days in a row around noontime. I dont know if thats enough for you guys because i kept coming back because the food was really, really good. I went on a wednesday because it was Build Your Own Burger for $ 5 with fries. Just saying i had the best, best burger of my life. Then i went the next day(Thurs) for $ 1 tacos. They so worth for a buck. I got a couple of tacos hehe. And i went back the day after that(Fri) because we could get Surf or Turf for $ 9 and we got the Surf, Reuben, Nachos(cheap and huuuuuge portions), grilled cheese, and Parmesan fries. I plan on stopping by more and more! The only downside to this place is that the service is slow because everytime ive been, there was only one server. They were really nice though! Its a bar, so in the daytime business is slow. But totally recommend this place!

Just your average sports bar, nothing special. The writing is on the walls, quite literaly. The cellar name fits. It looks like that underground concert hall you sneaked into. They do only seem to hire staff that appeals to the brainless sex obsessed morons that tend to frequent places like this. Beer prices we’re average. There was nothing different fron the norm, no craft or micro brews. Food was nothing special. I got my hopes up when I saw country fried chicken on the menu, but it’s not a surprise that it was a misnomer. I haven’t found a place up north that can cook it right. I guess it’s ok if you just want a drink and some mindless banter. But then again what would one expect of such a place. Not to degrade it because these places cam be fun, but not a place for dinner and a drink.

Thursday night drinks with my fiancée and this place was great. It’s a welcoming atmosphere and the bartender was very friendly. We had beer and cider on tap and there was a chicken taco special practically $ 2 per taco!(Includes all the toppings). Very tasty especially with their house-made guac. The boneless buffalo chicken wing appetizer was also amazing. Ample parking and everything looked clean. This is a great place in Quincy. I would come back for another round! Update! Came back for $ 6(half off) burgers on a Monday. So delicious. Get it with onion rings!

Good drinks, nice atmosphere. A MAJOR improvement from it’s predecessor. The food is good overall. Fried Pickles are a must do! Chicken Club and Fish and Chips are also solid options. There don’t appear to be a ton of servers, so the wait between food and drinks can sometimes take a bit. I personally consider the quality worth the wait but it might be a dealbreaker for some. That being said, we have been served by Emily several times and she is always phenomenal with a smile on her face and good recommendations! Here’s where I take issue: Like many of it’s Quincy Center colleagues, Kelly’s Cellar offers take-out. Unlike it’s QC colleagues, you are essentially spinning the roulette wheel to call and place an order. I don’t know how much business they do by phone, but if it’s something you are going to offer be consistent. I should NOT call a business and get a generic voicemail answering machine message. They should either commit to it and have someone manning the phone or just not offer it. Overall a solid choice unless you want takeout or you are in a big rush.

this place is great for NFL games. Free wings and awesome drinks. Glad I found this place. The service is very good; I have no complaints at all. Our server was very attentive and made sure we got what we needed and checked on us at appropriate times. Their pountine is delicious. I wish they would give more in the serving, but I’m not complaining too much because it is just really good. Their Friday Sinatra Jack Daniels special is unbelievable. The mixture of cherries and orange was surprisingly good, and they made sure to have a very decent amount of alcohol. They don’t skimp out on their mix drinks, that’s for sure! I haven’t tried anything else outside their appetizer and drinks menu, so I couldn’t tell you much about it, but they all look like possibly really good dishes
