My partner was looking at the menu and ordered spicy chicken wings. There was a young man and older guy behind the counter shaking their heads as if they were out of spicy chicken? They explained that there is no spicy chicken on their menu. When my partner pointed the spicy red pepper painted next to the order they just stood in our faces with a blank look. «Does this spicy pepper indicate that the chicken is spicy or nah»? Blankness. They looked confused So, I ordered two combination plates– lobster sauce and pfr w/teriyaki and one with the«spicy or nah» chicken. Before receiving my food(very fast btw), I asked the young guy if he knew about Unilocal and he snapped back«I don’t care for it very much». Ok booboo. Why was homeboy so snappy? Urgh I read over some of the reviews after I got my food and went to the car. I’m quoting a reviewer when they described the food as «a little off, and thats all I’m going to say». ??? What does«a lil off» mean? AND Why is that all you’re going to say about it? I was afraid But we were hungry, so… The food was bland. Flavorless. The rice especially. Didnt have that Chinese twang. The lobster sauce was dangerously hot and also lacked that Chinese boom that makes lobster sauce, lobster sauce. Even the duck sauce was flavorless. How they do that?! The gravy was good, but different from the norm. The beef teriyaki was pretty good tho. Very meaty, juicy and had that Chinese boom we look for when we order chinese. The spicy chicken was simply fried chicken covered in a bazillion red pepper flakes. The flakes didnt stick to the chicken so when you grab the chicken, you get a handful of flakes. It was a mess. I tried taking pics, but they came out terrible so I didnt post them. Made the food look worst than what it was. Anyways. There it is. Lucky Dragon.

Service was good. Very friendly waitress. The food seemed a lil off. That is all I am going to say

Food decent, personality stunk. Customer service could definitely be a a big help to the front of the house

It has been a while since I last wrote about this restaurant. If anything, my opinion is even higher. The food is flavorful and consistently very good. Portions are large. When I order take out, it is delivered promptly. The people are always pleasant. The little well-behaved children I had seen there years ago — while their parents worked — are now old enough to work there. So, yes, I’ve stayed with this restaurant a long time.

We ordered delivery from the Lucky Dragon because our usual place was undergoing renovations. The estimate for delivery over the phone was 45 minutes, but they showed up in 20 minutes, which was great The food arrived hot and it was packaged well. Where the Lucky Dragon falls short is the food itself. The crab rangoon we ordered was a bit undercooked. They had a really good amount though. The General Gau’s chicken was really soggy, with a half inch of liquid on the bottom. The Chow Foon was a ball of undercooked noodles topped with overcooked meat. It was also quite expensive for what we got. In a town that is filled with Chinese places, you can do a lot better than this.

The food is pretty terrible. Everything is either dry or soggy. The person who takes orders over the phone is pretty rude too. Never going back for sure.

I don’t know if they’re under new management or something, but this place has seriously gone downhill. I recently ordered their General Gau’s and it was soggy, really sweet, and had way too much breading. Their pork fried rice was really stale and unpleasant, and their Peking dumplings and wontons are 99% wrapper. I want to like this place since their food used to be good, their delivery is fast, and they’re always very nice on the phone, but I’ve just stopped ordering from them. Their food is just plain bad now.

I’ve been in Quincy for over 10 years, give or take, and I’ve always had a decent experience here. Service is prompt, polite, and fast! My favorite items are the Chinatown rice plates, Thai basil fried rice, crab rangoons and the wonton soup. I love that the wonton soup isn’t loaded with lots of soy sauce. It’s perfect the way it is. If you order more than $ 15 worth of food, you get a spring roll, an egg roll, or a soda for free. It doesn’t stop there. Order more than $ 20, $ 30 or $ 40(I think) and there are items you can choose from for free. Consult the menu for coupons!

Lucky Dragon gets 4 stars because its food is not sloppy and greasy as the other places in the area are.

I bit into a staple in my Crab Rangoon!!! When I contacted the restaurant they refused to refund my money. One of the most unpleasant and nauseating experience I’ve ever had!!! I will be sending a complaint to the BBB and the City of Quincy Board of Health!!!

I stopped in here today after getting my hair done and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Got take out of Hot & Sour soup and Chow Foon beef. Food was so good I was sad when I finished it. While waiting the guy was very sweet and we had a lovely chat and was sweet enough to give me some coupons. I will be going back and recommend this place to everyone who loves good Chinese food at a great price

First time ordering from this place and it was horrible. I didn’t expect the food to be the best thing i’ve ever tasted but I did expect to get something edible. My fiancé and I took a bite or two and the food went straight into the trash. Didn’t even give it to the dog, thats how bad it was.

The proprietor was a nice guy, but this place does not measure up. CHICKENFINGERS: 2.5 Stars PEKINGRAVIOLI: 2 Stars HOUSESPECIALLOMEIN: 1.75 Stars As I often say when reviewing Chinese places, evidently many people like this kind of mailed in food, so if you like bland, uninspired, run of the mill sort of Chinese food, then you will like this place. I am looking for a better experience.

Had the sesame chicken, it was dry, tough, and just way to salty. I’m going with David A. on this one.

When I get Chinese, I try to get«healthy-ish» stuff because if I don’t, I hate myself for the entire week. I ordered take-out and I got: — the General Gao’s Tofu — Broccoli with Garlic Sauce — Yu Hsiang Eggplant. The best part? The food was kickass and it was super HOT when I got home. Usually by the time you get home, I always find Chinese food to be hot, but not right-out-of-the-oven HOT. How do they do it!!! I’m amazed, impressed, and satisfied all in one.

Very good place for cheap Chinese food. The chicken and mushrooms was great! My boyfriend had Pad Thai that he said was fantastic. On my 2nd visit, I decided to test the Gen. Gau Chicken, and was really disappointed though, hence the 4 star rating and not 5.

So, as hard as it is to screw up Chinese food I realize that more often than not I’m getting mediocre to bad versions of what used to be a delightful cuisine. More specifically and recent is Lucky Dragon. Listen, the take out guy has been more than nice the two times I’ve decided to get something from there. It’s was quick and courteous. That’s all you can really ask for. As for the food, eh. Blah. Blech. With as fast as everything got to me you’d think there would be a slight level of «freshness» to it. Nope. I get that with a lot of popular items they do some pre-cooking. I get it. But when it tastes like yesterdays special, I’m thinking I’ve been duped. The two times I’ve eaten the food I’ve gotten different items so I really don’t want to get into everything I’ve tried. It’s enough to make a decision not to order from here anymore. That’s all you need to know. The food is not good and that can’t be saved by the more than decent service I’ve dealt with. The extra star is more of a hope that it could get better someday. I just won’t be the first one to tell you.

This used to be good, till it changed owners and names. They should have named it «Unlucky Dragon.» They charge you for an extra duck sauce!!! For a little container!!! When they took over, they changed the restaurant so that instead of being primarily take out, it would be dine in. However, it’s always empty except for people picking up food for take out. They also eliminated the lottery. They do have a plasma tv which is nice while you’re waiting. The food is mediocre. How hard is it to make decent chinese food anyway? It also is pricier than better tasting Chinese restaurants in Quincy. OK, did I tell you that they pissed me off by charging me for duck sauce? What I forgot to tell you was that the order was completed, stapled, and I asked for an extra duck sauce and he ripped up the order, and re-added the total of the order.
