Came in for a beer and were given a free pizza because of an error with the kitchen. Staff was pleasant, place was clean, they offer lots of options with an affordable menu. We’ll be back.

Went here last night and had a pretty bad experience. I would not go back or recommend it to anyone. One of the«security» staff was extremely rude to one of my friends because he had his hat on inside. Apparently you can wear baseball hats but not knitted hats-mind you it was pretty cold inside. That left a really bad impression on me and was not handled well at all. The crowd looked like they were all meth-heads. Don’t even waist your time here.

This bar is a joke. Bartender has barely any customers and turns off the only game they are watching so he can watch his TV show with the sound. The place is empty for a reason, they don’t care about the customer. Go spend your money where they will appreciate you. Food is mediocre at best and service is non existent.

An interesting place with so much potential. I arrived with friends early and avoided a cover charge. I noticed a large presence of «security» at the location and got the feeling that the place had the potential to get out of control as the night went on. They were polite, checking IDs and making sure people weren’t acting up. I’ll start with the good, upon arrival the crowd was older and the bar was separated from the dance floor by doors. Plenty of flat screen HD TVs and pool tables in the back.(another good thing I found was a Golden Tee game) Early in the night the restrooms were clean and were relatively odor free. I didn’t order food, but the food I saw people eating at the bar did look good though. Now to the not so great. The décor was, odd. Bar stools that were sort of comfortable, yet weren’t the most stable and the tables were clean. As I walked around the room I noticed a couch against the back wall, looking closer, it was a bit low, and the legs appeared broken. The staff, they tried. Early in the evening it was a bit easier to get a drink but with most places like this, the management didn’t put enough people on the bar to handle the numbers or sides of the bar, 2 bartenders for a bar with three sides and the crowd size just isn’t enough. The tap beer was not as cold as it should have been, which caused a lot of foam and kinda made me unhappy with paying for a large and getting a small beer with a lot of foam. The bartenders were friendly enough, but could have used some help. As the night went on, a younger crowd filtered in. I saw security deal with a patron who decided to dance on a stool. The guard did very well and kept everyone happy. The music was loud, but I was able to still carry on a conversation. The restrooms, later, became a haven for the overly intoxicated. Sinks were filled with vomit and the floors were soaked.(I know the younger crowd loves to pre game at home and then come out and drink a little more, so they were pretty blitzed by the end of the night) All in all, not a terrible place, GREAT to people watch and good if you like to dance. I probably would return if my friends want to go back. Use common sense and don’t expect it to be the most amazing dance club you’ve ever seen and you’ll have a good time.

This review is for having gone in Friday before 6PM. I have no opinion on what it is like later. The apps are half priced, which is surprising that they included Friday. more surprising, the portions were impressive, full-sized. The buff fingers and the Ultimate Nachos did not disappoint. Draft selections OK… fresh Bass, Chicago Honkers.

Nothing happens here until 11 pm and it closes at 12:30. In that short time you have blown all your money on the over priced alcohol and the cover charge. Nothing special find a cleaner, larger, cheaper place to have fun for longer than 1 ½ hours.

My go to place for a beer and some cheap bar food. Half off appetizers and 2 dollar pizza from 2 – 6 on weekdays, free buffet during the Pat games I love this place!

Turn around now! Don’t go here. It’s not worth it. Music is all that techno garbage, crowd is not diverse, there’s just a bunch of Quincy kids. Girls looking sexy in their freaking sweatpants and stained t-shirts, like straight up garbage, I’m not joking. Guys are sloppy drunk and there was a ton of old nasty pedophile looking men. Please, save yourself the dignity and skip this spot! I can’t say anything about prices because I didn’t even have a drink, once I walked in the door, I immediately wanted to leave. I’m thankful the cover was only $ 5 but I do feel like that place shouldn’t charge a cover, they should be paying YOU to come in! While I was on my way out, I heard this girl on their smoking patio scream«He just threw a rock at someone!» …Just in case you didn’t believe me talking about the classless people who come here. I will NEVER come here again, when I drive by this establishment I will look the other way, like seriously. PLEEEEEEASE, skip this«club».

One night i was in there and there was a fight on the dance floor. They don’t take credit cards and the people who go there are all on EBT. The place is a dump

UGH. just not a pleasant visit at all. First off this is probably the only place in Quincy that charges a cover — what you get inside doesn’t warrant a cover. And why doesn’t this place take cards? Cash bar only? Really? Music wasn’t good, might as well just had the radio playing. I came here the night before thanksgiving and it was packed… and it was more a less a high school reunion.

Never Again! My husband and I went the other day for a early dinner because the food itself got pretty good reviews. We walk in and the sign tells us to seat ourselves, so we do. Well about 10 minutes goes by and not 1 person came over to help us. I don’t even know why we stayed at all because the place smelled like pee anyway… so w walked out. This place is gross!!!

During the day, this place isn’t too bad. Quiet and friendly with good food. God help you if you’re here on a Friday or Saturday after, oh say, eight or nine. One of the biggest turn-offs to me after said hours is the cover charge. I think they’re actually one of the ONLY places in Quincy that has a cover. I really haven’t been to any other that does, and I do my fair share of drinking in my beloved city. I think most of the clientele like to pretend they’re on Jersey Shore, or have some level of class. It’s seriously nothing other than club-sluts, guidos, wiggers, and wannabe thugs. I also don’t see the point of even having a DJ. Whoever he is, all he does is play what one can hear on the radio anyway. They might as well just burn a CD with a ton of songs on there(that lasts over an hour and a half) and let it play throughout the night. I actually had one guy threaten to «cut me» once. He was drunk off of his ass and his friends were level-headed telling em not to worry about him. Some fat latino guy. I spent four years in the Marine Corps infantry, and his fat-ass probably couldn’t do any physical activity outside of the 16 ounce curl. I kind of regret not calling that bluff as I haven’t been in a good fight since the Corps. Yea, I’m a bit cocky with that, but when you know your opponent has no formal training whatsoever, and you do, it can get like that. There’s always the one QPD stationed outside. I’m assuming that’s just to keep the under-18/21 crowd out. Suck to be them in this city. I’m giving it two stars because the waitresses are sweet. Else, it would be one star due to the shitty bar environment during regular bar hours. People keep telling me that this place is a bar. No, no it’s not. It’s a club at those hours. Signs of a club: guidos, club sluts, wiggers, shitty DJ pop music, weak-ass mixed drinks(to be fair, the beer is regularly priced for the area). It’s a club. I know they don’t take cards during club time sometimes. However, I think that might depend on who you are or how you present yourself. They’ve never refused to run my tab on my card(one of my friends who frequents the place also has no problems with having cards run for a tab), but I’ve heard of others being told cash-only. I actually think I’ve seen it before. If they want more business, they should include the other bar regulars and not just the Jersey Shore wannabe crowd. Seriously, I’ve been making fun of guidos/guidettes for ages. When the hell did they become popular?

Why? Whywhywhywhywhywhy? This place! Every time people from my work want to go out they always go here. Maybe because it is roomy in the early evening? Maybe because it is horrible? Maybe because they are looking for classy gentlemen for future restraining orders? I don’t know. But i keep coming back! It’s not actually horrible. On its own it’s straight up medium. But when the sun goes down and the collars pop up(still?!) it becomes a truly dire situation. I will say that this is the bar in Quincy that the fine young men of our city seem to head to after their annual laundry day, so while they will be terrifying, they may also be clean. Service here is actually fine. The staff are nice and the owners were very accommodating in helping a coworker set up a charitable function here recently. Seem like good people. The place itself stays pretty clean. Food is not awesome, drinks are not underpriced. And I know I’ll be back someday.

I have been here a few times for the club scene on Fridays/Saturdays, and that is simply horrible. A cover for bad music, small dance floor, and overpriced small drinks? The crowd is also a distinct Quincy trash scene. Nonetheless, a friend wanted her birthday dinner here, so I went of course. I kind of knew it was a restaurant, but wasn’t sure how that would play out. It was a Trivia night, which was okay. Our food took us an hour, which was odd considering it was two standard pizzas. My soda tasted incredibly watered down, which left me wondering how watered down the actual drinks are.(For those wondering, my vodka/cran was.) The empty cups and plates kept piling up, and no one came to take them. The food itself was standard bar fare, and our waitress did seem to be doing her best. There was even a family with very young children eating near us. Furthermore, a table nearby was middle aged women and a five year old playing Trivia. To each their own, I guess. I’d give the restaurant portion two stars, because even though it was bad, the waitress tried.

This review is only for the food and atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm. The food was pretty decent — I got an oven roasted turkey sandwich«gobbler» that was very fresh and the sweetness of the cranberry mayo did a great job pulling the sandwich together. His burger was one of the biggest bar burgers I’ve seen in awhile… but it was actually just too much. I adore boursin but the amount they put on this burger just didn’t work. The fries were great but the onion rings had too much dried batter on them. I hate that. We were the only two customers in the entire place but it took well over a half hour for them to bring out our food. They also had womens softball playing on all the screens. The meal was like $ 21 for 2 sandwiches and 2 beers so that’s good — but it was just an A-OK place to have a place to ourselves to eat and drink on a Saturday afternoon.

My friends and I came here during the summer, and I was expecting to have a lot more fun than I did. It is VERY divy, and I was not happy with the $ 5 cover at night! Commonwealth is a huge establishment, with both a bar/dining area as well as a huge dance floor. My friends and I came on a Friday night, and the place was packed. Although it’s a great place for a big group of people, I found the drinks to be poorly mixed and not worth the $ 6 – 10 for them. There is a minimum that you need to start a tab; so we mostly used cash because we didn’t know how long we were staying. I also found the dance floor and crowd to be shadier than usual. I wanted to see what all the hype was about, but now that I’ve experienced all that is Commonwealth… I probably won’t be back.

I want to give it one star and five stars all at once. It’s the worst because it’s a wannabe club in Quincy. ‘Nuff said. No wait. I do like how there’s separate sections depending on where you want to be – dining, two square bars, dance floor, pool tables, etc. However, at a certain point there’s just craziness spilling everywhere. The dance floor is a mass pit of Jersey Shore wanna-bes, dirty humping old men, girls with wardrobes straight off the racks at Tellos. Ick. Dig deeper there’s a few normal people just looking to dance. Okay. Turn to the right you’ll see someone swallowing a face. The bartenders were terrible. At each bar there were two people, but it took forever for them to circle around. They weren’t ignoring people, but they just didn’t seem to hustle. Aw well, I’ll still probably come here once or twice. Oh yeah, it’s also where this married woman I know goes to pick up gross men to cheat on her husband with. GO!

Ok. So. If I go out, I don’t like being groped by old, skeevy dudes, I don’t like paying for drinks that are practically tap water, and I don’t like getting pushed out of the way by middle-aged women that want to get groped by the skeevy dudes. Lord, get me out of here. The music is boring, are they playing KISS108??? And I just paid a cover to get into this? The only saving factor is that more often than not, I’m pretty lubricated by the time I allow myself to go here. In the moment, it all seems OK, and at times, I may find myself enjoying myself. But then I wake up the next morning, sober, and back to my senses…

I’m the only one of my friends who loves this place. There is a small cover but I think it’s worth it. The place doesn’t start to pick up till after 11, but until then you can entertain yourself by watching middle aged women trying to be hip by dancing by themselves. It’s always hilarious. The girls working there look like faneuil hall bar rejects and sometimes make a weak drink. But the dancing is great and the place is really big. There are also two bathrooms. I wouldn’t go here looking to pick anyone up, the crowd is a little skeezy, but it’s still a lot of fun to just dance party with your friends. Edit: Taking it down to 3 stars after being dry humped by a fat dude the last time I was there.
