Holiday Inn Express Radcliff – Fort Knox

The rooms were clean and the location was very convenient for purpose of the visit. The folks at the front desk with very friendly (which I wish I could say about the other guests in the hotel.) As far as breakfast goes, I wish that there were non-​dairy options for milk as I am allergic to diary. And, the eggs at breakfast were consistently very crumbly and watery. The time that I did take them, they made the other things on my plate soggy. On the plus side, there was a very mesmerizing pancake maker that I made sure to use every day. I’d go back to this location, for sure.

Pros: quiet, clean, secure, price, descent breakfast.
Cons: hi speed Internet (somebody lied!)
–no electrical outlets for cell phone on the night stand or lamps. Had to unplug the lamps to plug in my phone next to the bed (It’s 2014… this shouldn’t still be an issue in hotels!)
–they use Direct TV (and we all know how that performs in bad weather… nuff said)
–Had to unplug the fridge to plug in the iron.
–No bill was placed under the door on checkout day.
–Maids left used coffee packs from last guest in the coffee maker (even after I left tips).
Overall not bad for a stay on a government rate only. It got the job done.

I’ve been very impressed during my stay here at this Holiday Inn. Super friendly and very helpful staff. The room was clean and the beds are comfortable. I’m traveling with a pet, and the hotel was very accommodating since I asked for a room nearest an exit outside. The breakfast choices are very good too!

Went to Radcliff on business and used the HIE as other co-​workers were staying nearby. How fortuitous! Helpful and friendly staff made checking in a breeze. The room was big– two big queen sized beds, desk, tv/​drawers unit. Refrigerator was medium-​sized, enough to comfortably store a weeks worth of groceries. Wi-​Fi signal in room was strong and reliable. Lots of outlets for my electronics. Hot breakfasts with a rotating protein, and all the other carbs expected. The cookies for desert most nights were a welcome surprise. I wish I had a chance to check out the Wednesday light dinner, but I enjoyed going out to sample the local culinary specials. HIE-​Radcliff is in my top 3 stays in a hotel this year. Someplace to repeat whenever business brings me back into town!

Staff was on the ball! From the second I walked in the door, I was met with smiles and friendly folks. From the folks at the desk (Tony checked me in and Holly was a wealth of helpful info) to the housekeeping, who leaves little notes in your room! I never saw them, but I do know that Darcia and Sylvia rocked! My room was never less than perfect. To even the super helpful breakfast staff. Eggs, Sausage, Bacon, Cinnamon rolls and fresh pancakes for breakfast every day. A guy could get fat staying here too long!
The rooms are awesome! Had a GREAT stay and look forward to returning here in April!

Room was clean, new flat screen tv’s.
Mini Fridge, stove top, pots, pans, plates and silverware.
Room was great, fitness center was small as all usually are.
Business center was surprisingly big and had 6 complete computer terminals to use.
Every Wednesday night they put on a get together and provide a light dinner meal.
