(3.5) ~ good, but not as great as it was in the beginning. The Burgers don’t taste as juicy as in the past & the Shakes come in paper cups versus the Large Metal Ones that had extra shake.

Amazing. I’m lactose intolerant and the manager went out of her way to check ingredients and find something I could have. The food was delicious and it takes really attentive and caring staff to accommodate someone with special dietary needs. Ann is awesome!

The staff was amazing. Great interaction and customer service even during a busy week day lunch hour. Fries were good burger… So so. Will go back if boyfriend wants but wouldn’t be my choice for burgers

Rude ignorant staff, unapologetic for cold food. Lacked ingredients to make menu items ask if we wanted chicken fingers grilled or fried and got that wrong. Waste of time and money get better service and food at McDonald’s AND I HATE McDonald’s

Found my new quick burger joint! Love the options and the food was really good. Got the veggie black bean burger on a spicy Chipotle bun. Came out really quick so that was a plus. All of the workers are so friendly and nice. Will be back!

Oh, Smashburger, why weren’t you more delicious? Ordered the bbq, bacon cheeseburger. Pros –Those smash fries are delish –Fried onions on my burger were crispy and tasty –Wait wasn’t too bad –Clean location Cons –quality and taste of the beef were very average I’ll stick with Five Guys, thank you.

Incredible grub. First of all very clean restaurant, and a very bright atmosphere. The service was very polite and on the happier side, but what made me give them five stars was the amount of patience the server had when a very foreign old woman was giving her order. Her instructions were very complex but he took them in his stride, smiling all the while. Our food was brought right to our table and the burgers were delicious, and the sweet potato fries were a definite highlight. At first I was thrown off by the somewhat high prices, but the quality of food makes up for it completely. Would recommend

I generally like this place and I’m crazy about the«smash» fries. But my service today was horrible. I felt rushed and my host«Kenisha» was just rude to my pregnant fiancé. Won’t be going back anytime soon; if ever!

After a long Bed, Bath and Beyond trip, I went to the closest food place for nourishment. I haven’t had a burger in a year due to trying to eat less meat, but I had a burger here before. I felt like I should have ordered the Avocado Ranch Black Bean Burger, but I wanted the Classic Smash. I ordered the regular instead of the big burger, but I knew it would be too much. I also ordered the smash fries on the side. The burger was really good and worth the wait. I’ll come back for the Avocado Ranch Black Bean Burger.

We walked in a 5:30 and ordered our food. I got a sin city burger with fries and I did not get my food until 6:00 with no explanation as to why it took so long and no effort to make this better. The workers were standing around talking and the man in the kitchen was busy dancing around not getting things done promptly. I actually went here for my dinner break at work and now the entire break has been spent waiting for my food to come out to me. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone I ever come across unless something is done to resolve this terrible experience that I had.

Came here again last Saturday. There must have been a local basketball tournament because there was a huge line. We had to wait ~20 minutes for our food. That was pretty annoying, but out of control of the restaurant. We split a Mushroom Swiss Truffle Burger. This was surprisingly good. The smashed burger prevails yet again. Their beef blend is excellent paired with the crispy burn the smash gives their burger. It really is quite excellent. The bun is pretty good, chewy, kind of Brioche-esque. Is was impressed that the mayo sauce on this burger really did have a small hit of truffle flavor that was not noxious or unnoticeable. That was pretty surprising for an $ 8 Burger. Definitely come here and check it out, just don’t do during peak hours. They seem to have trouble planning for crowds.

Quality: Generally good. A bit over priced for the quality and size. Milk shakes are way to expensive but its been a good splurgy spot for a burger. I’m a bit bummed about Smashburger. I had a pickup order that was completely messed up(smothered in bbq where none was wanted with other topping mishaps) and was advised by the manager he couldn’t refund my money. I’m sure this has something to do with franchising but food comp doesn’t solve all problems and its a weak spot in their customer service. I reached out to the cs hotline, but it was after they closed on a friday. No luck. I emailed in for resolution and was advised I would be contacted by a district manager for resolution but have recieved no further contact. I hope they get it together on the cs side of things, but for the time being I’ll be heading to another burger spot.

I am definitely a fan. On separate occasions, I’ve tried the classic smash beef burger and the classic chicken burger. Both were delicious. If you’re a fan of juicy burgers that taste great, you definitely want to have a Smashburger. There are other burger options to choose from, or you can create your own. The classic Smashburger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese with smash sauce on an egg bun. The classic chicken sandwich/burger comes with the same toppings as the burger, minus the cheese and substitute the smash sauce for mayo. The fries are amazing. For me, what makes them amazing is that they are crunchy and cut very thin. I’ve never been a big fan of thick cut fries. I plan to try their milkshakes next time I visit.

Smashburger was awesome. I’d definitely rank this amongst the better burger joints that are springing up everywhere(think Shake Shack and In-n-Out on the west coast). The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was super clean. I had the regular size smashburger and a side of the smashfries. The burger was great– very flavorful, perfectly cooked and most importantly I could tell it was FRESH! my only gripe was that they went too heavy on the smash sauce, which is tasty, but made it messy and I felt like I ate too quick. The smashfries were good. Shoestring fries tossed in rosemary, garlic and olive oil. They had a great flavor, but we’re a little too greasy. Next time I’d prob just do regular fries. Looking forward to going back!

Claiming its offering a smashingly new approach didn’t seem that way when broken down. Fresh never frozen beef is a 5 Guys standard. So it’s natural to compare these two burger spots. One bonus at Smashburger is there are more choices here than Five Guys. You can get chicken, salads and shakes here. Pretty much it’s burgers, fries and dogs at Five Guys. My lady and I ordered the Classic Smash: American cheese, ketchup, Tomatoe, pickle and onion. Both of us got their smash sauce on the side(neither of us liked the mostly mustard tasting mystery sauce) She tried the pretzel bun, I went for the classic egg. We split shoestring fries. I had an unsweetened iced tea while she tried the lemonade. The burgers were good. Better than fast food. Not as good as Five Guys in my opinion. Definitely not in the upper stratosphere of 500 degrees SPoT food truck or Rouge burgers. Next time I’m there I’ll pop next door to ShredWich wh just added provolone cheese to go with their wonderful store made brisket.

The takeout orders are ALWAYS messed up. I don’t know why I gave this place more than 1 chance, but I’ve been here 3 times, and my order has been messed up three times. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — Experience 1: Their website is constantly messed up. Once I placed an order on their website, it said the order couldn’t go through, so I called and they said I would have to drive in to place the order(they can’t take pick-up orders over the phone for some reason). I drove in and placed an order, and, while waiting, I get an email saying my online order has been placed. I now have 2 orders, and have to go through the extremely time-consuming hassle of cancelling one. I take my non-cancelled order home — they completely forgot the fries. I called the store and they said I had to drive back to get them. Forget that. Not to mention, not ONCE did I receive any sort of apology for this experience. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – Experience 2: Second time… well, just look at my pictures. I ordered: Big Avocado Club(comes with avocado and bacon) +Mushrooms($ 1.29) +Pickles +Blue cheese($ 0.70) +Pepper Jack Cheese($ 0.70) +Guacamole($ 1.29) –NOBUN I get to the store. They inform me that they were out of mushrooms so they didn’t put any on. Ok??? I ask for a refund of the $ 1.29. They guy looks at me like I’m crazy. «It’s only $ 1.29.» Yes, I know it’s only $ 1.29, but I paid $ 1.29 for MUSHROOMS and you didn’t give me mushrooms, so why is it audacious for me to get that charge refunded? Ok. Like usual, refund process takes upwards of 5 mins. I leave the store, get back to my office. What do I see? A piece of meat, in a bun, with a piece of lettuce, two cucumbers, and a tiny piece of bacon. No avocado. No cheese. No guac. Yes, I paid for about $ 5 of «add-ons» and it came with NONE of them. It was the saddest burger I’ve ever seen in my life. So, I call the store. Ofc, they tell me I have to come in to get it fixed. Waste the 10 mins driving to the store. Guy makes me a replacement. Get home. Guess what? He STILL forgets the bacon and the pepper jack cheese. Holy cow. How is it so hard to look at an ingredient list and place those items together? Again, not a single apology for the entire ordeal, including the additional 30 mins of drive/wait time for the replacement. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – The food is decent. Extremely salty, but I generally like salt. Some things, such as the haystack onions, are WAY over-salted(mushrooms are exceptionally salty too). Even a salt-lover such as myself couldn’t stand the haystacks. Tasted like I was biting into a block of salt. Overall, definitely not worth the price you pay. I’d much rather go to five guys and get better value, portions, and food.

The fries bumped this from a 3 to a 4. Those fries are awesome. I got the regular, not the rosemary, and they are the perfect thin, salty crispy shoestrings, but not too crispy. Fantastic fries. The burger had potential to also be fantastic, but the toppings were put on very haphazardly so I had to make a bit of a mess to get everything properly situated. I got a «big» burger, classic, with bacon added. The bacon was good quality and the burger itself was very tasty — it’s pressed on the grill so it gets a really good crust, but don’t expect any significant thickness or a ton of juiciness, nor will it have much pink in the middle. Just the style of burger. Wanted more of the special sauce, and there were WAY too many onions. I’m talking like 3 full slices of red onion with all the rings intact. There’s a nicer-than-average selection of beverages, which I appreciate. Honest Tea, SmartWater, and the usual fountain sodas. I hear the milkshakes are amazing but I was already looking at a 700+ calorie meal, no need to gild the lily. Takeout service was fast! I’ll be back after my 30-day vegetarian challenge is over. This burger was my last meaty hurrah until July.

I love, love, love smashburger. Usually only get it passing through the airport, but, as I have other business in the main line area every month or so, I’ve been getting my fix more regularly. Service is never bad, but it is a bit hit or miss in here — sometimes it’s amazing, and other times it’s nothing special. I don’t love those crunchy, matchstick fries, so I save my belly space for a burger and a shake. The BBQ Bacon Cheddar is my current obsession — add the tiniest squirt of mustard to set off the BBQ sauce. The shakes are always just right, but make sure you ask for it in a to-go cup, as it is too much to finish in the dining room.

As the FoodDude I get calls from friends who travel less frequently than me. Recently a buddy asked me about Smashburger and I did recommend he try the chain. This out a tinkering in my head so while driving to another joint today I spotted the Smashburger and changed my plan. I got the crimimi Mushroom Swiss with truffle mayo on an egg dough bun and some smashfries which are very thin cut and tossed in olive oil and parsley. I think they douse the burger in butter as well. Hey why not… Right? This make the burger so super juicy from first bite to last. As burger chains go Smashburger is among my favorites. I haven’t been to one in a long time next time I need to remember to get a double but the single burger was ample. I prefer a thicker burger but that a personal choice and does not effect this review. Shortcomings are they bus the tables a little too slowly and I saw people hunting for seats. The layout of separate entrance and exit had guest waiting to order have to circle around to get a menu while waiting. I saw this happen 5 times as I sat rich by the window across from the vestibule. I did like that they had vitamin water in the sofa machine. Smashburger is a smashing success!
