Abson Imports

My family has been coming here for years, since before the business relocated from Oak Tree Road, and we’ve always been impressed with both the selection and the quality of customer service.
The location is just a few minutes off of Oak Tree Road, and certainly worth the drive. The showroom is quite extensive, featuring a large selection of beads and ready-​to-​wear jewelry alike. And as active as the showroom gets on weekends, the staff are always attentive, helpful, and personable.
Don’t take it from some review of a one-​time experience, but from someone who’s shopped here many times over the years — Abson Imports is a real go-​to and an absolute gem for jewelry.

Great place with excellent customer service and fantastic variety of stones and gems. They run specials through out the festival season. Manager is interacting with customers and getting their feedback, constantly. They have renovated and expanded their showroom area. Must check it out if your in the vicinity.

I have been following Abson Imports from their early days on Oak Tree Road to their current location in Rahway. It is quite out of the way from the main area of Indian shopping on Oak Tree Road and Green Street and still the showroom is always bustling with happy customers. They have a unique business model and philosophy. I have found that the staff was always polite and attentive as a rule.
I wish that all the jewelry merchants were as reliable of the quality of their wares as Abson Import is.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE! NASTY OWNER/​MANAGER!!!
I don’t know where to begin… My husband and I visited this place… Abson imports after seeing the ads on tv every weekend on the Asian variety show! The ad led us to believe that this was a reputable place, with very good merchandise! We went there this weekend and were shocked by how we were treated!!! The owner, bald guy with a suit on… Think his name is abdallah… was so insulting and rude to me when I asked him a simple question about this jewelry store I went to in chennai, India… Where I saw a finishes necklace for approx. 300 bucks… (Whereas he is selling stuff wholesale, and just strings of corals. Unfinished for as much as 190 and up per strand.) When I asked him how that was possible that I found the finished product in India at a v reputable jewelry store… He got super offended, thinking I was questioning the authenticity and prices of his corals… And told me pretty much to go to that store in India and buy the necklace… That I apparently knew nothing about corals… I never claimed I did ever. And when I told him that it was a question and that I really didn’t know, he continued to insist I go buy it there and since the price was so «good», bring him back some strands of corals as well!!! What audacity and nerve!!! So rude and insulting. My husband and I left, since we felt we were being kicked out of this store… But my husband got very angry, and he came back and told the guy that this is not the way to treat customers and that he insulted me. And that it was not correct! To this, the jerk said «we should leave his shop immediately, and that my husband shouldn’t raise his voice in the shop»… Which my husband never did… we were just firm and upset at him, but not yelling at all… He told us if we didn’t leave he would call security… At which point we decided it was worthless talking to him and to just leave… We just wanted to make enough «noise» so that other customers could hear it, that’s all!
Therefore, DO NOT go to this store… Merchandise may be decent… But highly overpriced in my opinion… And the guy definitely has questionable moral and ethical standards!!! He really should be made accountable for his behavior… NOT HOW ONE SHOULD TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL!!! So, definitely do not recommend this place… Other better stores in Edison to visit with really nice people working there!!!

OMG, how can some one sell original pearls and precious stone all at one place with just little people to service and opened only 4 days in a month (2 weekends). Dont ever question the owner about the genuinity of the pearls and precious stones sold there he would push you out of the store but wont consider that you are also a precious customer there… For this thanksgiving day sale he had everything on sale with 30 — 50% off on the items there… For atleast the other items sold there you cant expect any quality and I basically dont trust they were original.
