Never knew there was a Peruvian restaurant in Rahway. I tried it and was not dissapointed it. The food is very delicious and prices are affordable. Service is very good as well as thr ambiance. You gotta try the Lomo and Conchas a la Chalaca. Recommended!!!

This restaurant is so cute! Very clean and the people are very friendly. Coming from a Peruvian background we are always trying to find good small restaurants that can bring us back to the mother land. Lol The food was delicious. Come on an empty stomach and ready to eat because the portions are pretty big! we will definitely be back soon!

Hugo’s is very good place to come for good Peruvian food! Been here two times! First time I came for lunch and got the lunch special for $ 8.00. I got aguadito soup with tallarin saltado and chaufa rice and also came with a soda which overall everything was delicious and well presented on the plate. Then later the same week I got the Chaufa de Mariscos to go. I called 20 minutes before I went to go pick it up and still waited 10 minutes at the place but well worth it. The rice was outstanding, wasn’t oily or salty and had a good amount of seafood mix in the rice. I will definitely keep coming back for more and recommend this Peruvian restaurant for anybody that hasn’t visited this place!!! Keep in mind the restaurant is on the back part of the building not on Main St. so you would have park in the back by going into Lewis st.
