Everything we’ve ever eaten here is amazing. Burgers are great, pizzas are delicious. I love the Greek Goddess and the veggie pizza in the summer made with local produce. The sweet potato bread pudding is so yummy. Good service and you get lots of food for the price.

For a while this place was my favorite local eatery, but over the past couple of months the service has become so terrible I won’t be going back. The last time I was there I waited over an hour for my food before informing my server that my party was leaving and we would like to settle up. She brought us the bill for our drinks with no apologies or explanations as to why we had waited so long with no food, didn’t even offer to comp our 2 beverages either. We handed her a $ 20 and she had the nerve to ask if we wanted change back!!! I have rarely been so offended — never again :(

Great little place with nice service ! Wish the burger had a bit more taste but otherwise a great alternative to all the fast food places in the area !

This place has an awesome menu with great food. I ate the farm burger which was as good as advertised. My wife had the brick chicken. We ordered the tempura green beens for appetizer. There was no cutting any corners with the food. We were amazed at the food going to other tables before we ordered ourselves.

One of the best steaks in the area. Their pizzas are excellent as well. We’ve eaten them as take-out several times and have not been disappointed. The interior could possibly use a facelift. Their food is definitely higher quality than the dive-y atmosphere might suggest. We like to wear a t-shirt and shorts and enjoy a nice meal, so maybe the atmosphere is perfectly suited for that.

This is by far one of the best restaurants in the area. They have a ribeye steak that is pure perfection. Great Burgers, excellent wings, awesome pizza. We eat here several times a month. Their specials are always good and filled with Local Flare. Best place in the area.

If Unilocal would let me there would be No stars from me! This place was horrible! Formerly it was Hanger-9. Back then we had a Cuban sandwich and a Burger… both were just ok then… but this trip to Velocity… YUCK! Check out the pics I posted. We had a gift card for $ 30…so it was a good thing we only had to pay $ 16 for our teas which were fine and a combo appetizer that was pretty good(tempura fried green beans and fried green tomato with melted pimiento cheese). I had. Country fried chicken that was cooked to death. Chicken had been pounded down to not even ¼ inch thick with a ½ inch crust on each side. The crust was so hard I couldn’t cut into it without the knife making a loud sound on the plate… besides…I would’ve certainly broke a tooth eating it. The braised greens and black eye peas were burnt tasting… as was the chicken… and the mashed potatoes would’ve been ok with a little salt. The country gravy on the chicken tasted weird .kind of like it had cheese in it. The plate looked gross when they brought it out. The hubby had a pizza that was I’ve e cooked. The toppings and cheese were so hot and the crust was so hard when you bit into it you’d certainly burn the roof of your mouth and still not get any crust. It didn’t look burnt, but it sure tasted burnt. It was like trying to bite through a cardboard box. So we’ve had 2 bad experiences here. The inside of the restaurant is decorated with airplane stuff and looks awkward. I understand it’s their theme but it just doesn’t work. I don’t know these people that are going… why they go… but I just don’t understand why they keep going here. There’s always a crowd. That’s why we wanted to give it a try as Velocity. Mistake! Anyhow… check out the pictures.

While the food wasn’t presented as well as what’s seen in the pictures, it still surpassed my expectations. Everything I ordered was executed properly, my medium temp burger was cooked perfectly. Fries were a nice crispy gold with the soft inners. By looking at the place you wouldn’t expect the quality it puts out. I also loved the aviation theme.

I have visited this restaurant several times, and have enjoyed every visit. From the serving staff to the food, this is a great place to visit. In my opinion, they have some of the best food in town. Some of my favorites are the farm burger, pepper jelly burger, and great pizzas too! The staff always make you feels welcome. They also have specialty menus that change. Take a break from the chain restaurants. I recommend this place!

Nice little lunch spot that adds a much needed flavor to the area. I have had the Turkey BLT wrap and the Cuban wrap. Both were excellent. The atmosphere is not much to write home about, but the food is fresh, plated perfectly and taste great. I would try to get there before the 12 oclock rush as they are usually short staffed for a large crowd. I will def be back to continue to sample the other options on the menu.

This place is worth the drive from Atlanta. It would be easy to drive by thinking this was just another small town bar/diner. To do so would be a mistake. The chef inside is serving up dishes worthy of being on the menu at Bouchon, Husk, or Empire State. Get here as fast as you can so you can brag about discovering this place before it was discovered.

Everything is fresh and made in the restaurant! The staff is so friendly and the vibe is relaxed. Had the Farm Burger and it was absolutely one of the BEST burgers I have ever had!

I just moved here from Orlando, so maybe my standards are a little high, but don’t expect to go here and be wowed by the atmosphere. It’s a small building that’s pretty gloomy inside with cold metal tables(on that note, the whole place is freezing so bring a sweater). But don’t let that ruin it… I really like their burgers and wings(it’s just not slap-your-momma divine or anything; maybe a 7 out of 10)… and usually if the price seems high, you’re getting a lot of food so don’t fret. I also had a fruity cocktail that I’d say was worth the price given that I could actually taste the rum. As for what I always look forward to: the waffle sweet potato fries(have them heat up the caramel sauce!) and the garlic knots. Those two are definitely worth writing home about! For an honest review: the food truly is good, but nothing extraordinary and the atmosphere is not much short of disappointing. BUT, in the area of Rainbow City and Gadsden, this is a good place to eat.

Four adults had dinner, three had beer, one had iced tea. They have a full bar with stools and several tables. Soft drinks, tea, and coffee have free refills. We were greeted and seated immediately. Savannah was our waitress and was very attentive throughout our meal and familiar with the menu offerings. We ordered several of her recommendations and were pleased. We had the garlic bread«bites» which were wonderful, and the honey garlic appetizer wings. All four of us had several wings apiece so it was an ample serving and very tasty. We also tried the delish fried green tomatoes with melting pimento cheese appetizer. Two of us ordered one of the 5 speciality pizzas, and two of us had speciality burgers – a steak house burger with mushrooms, onions, fontina cheese, and a farm burger with bacon, pimento cheese, red onion, fried green tomato, and fried egg. Both burgers were fantastic and 1⁄3 pound of ground sirloin. They come with house fries, onion rings, or the BESTSWEETPOTATOWAFFLEFRIES anywhere. Leftover sandwich and fries went home with us, but not for the dog ;) We will be going back many times to try the homemade Mac & Cheese, one of the speciality salads, baked Ziti, other pizzas and burgers, and, did I mention the sweet potato waffle fries? Velocity is kid friendly and I saw a child with the Three Cheese Grilled Cheese which looked yummy melty. There is a kid’s menu for 10 and under. Highly recommend!
