One of the better hardware stores around. Having to compete with the Big Box Stores on pricing and inventory is tough but it’s done with old fashioned customer service! The folks are knowledgable and friendly; the store is neat, clean and tidy and they have a good selection of goods. I don’t always shop at the smaller hardware stores but when I do I shop at Ace, The place with the helpful Hardware Man(or Woman).

My husband and I just bought our first home about 5 minutes away from this Ace and I have been up there constantly for products to update our home. I absolutely love coming here over any other hardware store. The staff always greets me at the door and ask if I need help. They are all knowledgeable and always have a smile on their face. Its wonderful going somewhere with a happy staff who you can tell genuinely enjoy working there! While the products are always great, its really all about the staff why I keep coming back here. Keep up the good work!

It’s an Ace Hardware, so I don’t need to go into detail about their products or anything like that. I will say, however, that shopping here makes me pine for the days before the big boxes like Home Depot or Lowes. The workers are on the floor to help you, not to walk around and try their hardest to ignore customers. They are friendly, engaging, and very helpful. Will try to do all of my home-related shopping here from now on. It’s got that local feel.

Ace is the Place — or so the saying goes. Went in looking for a Kamado Joe or BGE. They had the BGE, but no Kamado Joe — the guy who was talking to us didn’t know anything about the Kamado Joe, even though it had been advertised in their flyer for last week. There wasn’t one on the floor here either. They had 3BGE’s and all were very VERY pricey — and understandably so. I left without buying anything and without feeling any better about my quest for a ceramic Kamado cooker…

Ace Hardware is more expensive than Home Depot and Lowe’s. The inventory isn’t as big, either. But Ace isn’t a «big box» store. If you know exactly what you want, it’ll be easier to find(or not find) in this smaller store. If you want to talk to someone before buying, you’re more likely to find that person at Ace. There’s no guarantee that the person will be highly qualified, but Ace is nothing if not helpful. If you’re buying a lot of mulch or soil, they’ll load up your car for you. If you need work done one your lawnmower and don’t mind being without it for 3 weeks, you can get that done here too. If this location wasn’t 5 minutes from my house, I probably wouldn’t go as often as I do. But the convenience and staff make up for the prices and the smaller inventory.
