Sunny was amazing! I bought a Groupon awhile back for a friend and I to get a Brazilian wax. The service was fast and thorough. What’s also great is that this was one of the least painful ones I’ve had. Sunny gave great advice on upkeep, hygiene, etc… for my friend who was new to this. Inside, the spa was simple and beautiful with warm colors. It felt very comforting! The wax room had a great view of the trees, too! It was hard to find Adara Spa, so take note to plan out on your GPS! I will be back again! Thanks Sunny!

Perfect massage by Nicole. They are off the beaten path but right in downtown, and from the moment you walk in you feel relaxed and welcome.
Very friendly, always making sure the pressure was just right.
I will be returning soon.

I used groupon to get a facial with Leah Magner and I enjoyed it. Here is the summary of my experience:
Pros:
1. Provides full 50 minutes service without wasting much time.
2. Very friendly and gentle.
3. Relaxing experience without much talking.
4. She gives awesome hand massage while you have face pack on instead of just waiting.
5. Ended massage with brief relaxing head massage.
6. Did not try to sell any products.
7. Puts some lip gloss on at the end of facial.
8. Most importantly taking appointment is very fast and easy.
Cons:
1. Place in itself is little small and congested (can be overlooked since service is good).
2. I thought facial involves neck massage (she did give nape massage but not on neck) but then again everything else she did was good.
Overall:
I would go back for her !!

My husband now (fiancé then) found this for me and surprised me with a facial with Leah. She was AMAZING! She is very friendly, makes you comfortable, listens to you which is just SUPER! She also gives great recommendations base don your skin type. I did both the love your skin and O2 facial. It was a lovely soothing experience. We also bought the three package deal just before our wedding and it was absolutely worth it! My skin felt so hydrated and I felt it glowed:). Thanks so much. We surely will be back!
Also, although being so close to downtown. Adara has no problem at all for parking as it has a parking space just below the building. Great location. we love this spa!

Getting a facial from Leah or a pedi from Sunny is the best. Adara is fun and intimate, wonderful personal service. It’s the best deal in Raleigh. I’ve been going for over 3 years.

I’ve been going to Adara Spa for a year. My former manicurist in MN found Adara Spa for me. I wanted to continue using the LCN products. Sunny does my Gel nails every 3 weeks and I get lots of compliments. The entire staff is very friendly; a fun place to go.

The aura of this day spa is that of a gentle social ambiance. This day spa is small enough that staff will get to know your name if you become a regular. They are very friendly and greet everyone upon arrival (including their own staff). Got a set of lcn nails done here. I had a form applied to my natural nails for length. My gel nails look natural. The shape and filed length of my gel nails is just what I wanted and requested. There could have been a bit more gel applied closer to the cuticle on each finger so the gap wasn’t so obvious — which made it seem as if I needed a fill-​in immediately after having my nails done. In spite of that, my nails were still beautiful after curing under the LED light. Overall: good customer service, well-​organized, nicely designed space & a variety of services to pamper you!

Everyone loves a clean kitty (Brazilian wax) and at Adara Spa, it does not have to be painful. Ms. Sunny makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in and she pays a lot of attention to detail. I love this place!

I go to Sunny to reduce what she refers to as «visual noise» in my appearance. Believe it or not– it is possible to get a break from to continually trying to keep things like ear and nose hair trimmed which I found to be a losing battle. It always seemed no matter how hard I tried something would appear right before walking into a meeting.
Most people won’t mention it, but I find it is often like a spot on a tie. No one says anything but it is the sort of thing that speaks as loudly as anything you are saying.
I also prefer to remove back hair — especially in the summer time. I feel cooler and my shirts stay smelling nice longer in the heat. :)
Sunny does a great job. She has the proper types of wax and is very efficient and effective.

Been having my LCN manicures with Sunny every three weeks for the past three years. As a clown it is very important how my hands look. Well, they always look FABULOUS! I continually get compliments on my nails. I look forward to my appointments because Sunny is so warm, caring, professional and personable. She remembers everything you talk about and makes you feel important. Not only do you leave looking good, you feel good too.

Sunny is great, been going here for several months now, always pleased she is very friendly and knows what she is doing. I have nail fungus and been using the Light Concept Nails over my 2 big toes as those nails were removed, they are AWESOME and I get the gel polish so it lasts for over 2 weeks too. Check them out you won’t be sorry, they offer a lot of services included Massages, Facials and Waxing as well. I love their website and you can book your appointment online.

Great first visit!
Bought livsoc deal… appointments can be scheduled online.nice. Very friendly. Email reminder. I arrived late, due to Raleigh Christmas parade traffic. Derrick still gave me the whole time, because he had no spot right after me. I am not promising that for you, but it was really nice for this one time. He did a nice job, was professional and friendly. Nice experience!
