Adore Designer Resale Boutique

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Not sure why a sales associate working in a resale store has to be so rude. Got asked twice in an extremely rude tone to move out of her way while she was putting back clothes. Don’t waste your time shopping here there’s better consignment shops in Raleigh. Even good will has better finds.

I came here again because I’ve been wanting either a leather or pleather jacket. I’ve seen some cute leather ones for retail around town and online that cost an arm and a leg. Then I saw a Veda jacket on sale at gilt for under $ 300 and of course the only size available was XS. So I haven’t had a lot of luck.
I almost walked out after not finding what I was looking for at adore’s other location in Cary and my first walk around here. But I must have missed a rack and something told me to go back. And there it was. Okay, it’s pleather and maybe not the coolest brand out there — guess — but it looked really great on and actually fit. So now I have my own pleather biker jacket. And it only cost me $ 55. Well, a little more with tax. But hey, it actually fit better than the madewell jacket I tried on earlier today, and at a fraction of the price too.
So you might not find what you’re looking for every time, it might take a little digging. That’s the name of the game with consignment stores. But sometimes you can find a real gem. I’m still wearing that Rebecca Taylor dress I snagged here last year.

Great selection and quality of items is amazing. I was disappointed in the customer service though. The woman working that day spoke to everyone but me. Granted I did have on tennis shoes, a simple tee and jeans… but it was raining and I was running errands that day. So, I guess I did not look as if I were going to purchase any items. Well, there were 2 pairs of shoes that I would have purchased if I would have felt welcomed but I really felt like I did not belong. I may give the one in Cary a try.

Attended a private birthday party at Adore in Raleigh. It was such a great event and gave our group plenty of time to socialize and shop for cute clothes and jewelry. They have a great selection and I found some one of a kind necklaces that I love!

Ran into this boutique right as it was closing (not cool, I know!) but I really wanted to check out their inventory. The store consultant was very nice and didn’t make me feel like I was being rushed, even though they were close to closing. Great stuff, and they take consignment too! Can’t wait to sell some of my items.

They have some Men’s Clothing too, though it is Mostly Clothing Shoes and Accessories for the Lady’s.
Hey Designers! NOT a «Thrift» Store! This is a Consignment shop and they are particular about what they choose, as they should be! So the clothes are barely «second hand» and what you would be interested in showing off!
