Cook Out offers so many choices it’s hard to not find something you like. I feel that the best deal for your money is a tray because you get more variety. The food was good and the service was ok. I frequent this location a lot and don’t have any major concerns.

Shut up and take my money! I have eaten at cook-out for about 10 years now. Still a great deal, my order is right almost every time I have come through. It’s always a great price for the amount of food you get and its good for a pig out lunch or dinner! I usually get a burger tray with fries and nuggets. I usually opt out of the milkshakes because that is a delicious and slippery slope! I tend to frequent this location because it’s not as congested as capital blvd.

Treat yourself! I can say I try to stay away from the windows, but every now and then I want a milkshake. This place brings all the boys to the yard! I would say about once every other month we get a craving for Cook Out’s milkshakes. We walked down to Cook Out on New Bern a couple nights ago. There is usually a few people standing in line and quite a bit of traffic in the drive through. I have never waited longer than about 10 minutes from the time walking up to the time getting the goods. The staff has always been friendly and very efficient. We were on the hunt for something sweet so we got the chocolate peanut butter fudge milkshake. Nom! I have also had the mint chocolate chip shake before. Tasty as well. There is a variety of food and drink to choose from. They have a plate that you can get burgers, hot dogs, quesadillas chicken fingers, fries, hush puppies etc. and mix and match however you want. After a night out on the town I had a plate that was a cheese burger, quesadilla, hush puppies and coleslaw. There were two of us eating so it was a great deal after an evening of fun.

My only expirence was a late night of drinking – so my perspective might be changed on a different occassion. But it was delicious! They forgot to give my girlfriend her corndog, but we easily got it from the walk up window. It was 2am, so kindness wasn’t show and the lady shut the window immediately, but I wouldn’t blame her. Love the hours and pricing – fed three for under $ 15

Ugh… It is dangerous for a fat boy like me to have burgers and fries and milkshakes readily accessible in the middle of the night. I think Cook Out need special zoning permission to be built so close to residential area! Anyway. If you know Cook Out, you know its deal so I don’t have delve into too much except to mention as far as fast food goes, it’s definitely my favorite place, especially at 2AM and I’m either one the way home from parties downtown, or just any gaming night that run into wee hours of the morning. For one, I don’t need to order from a special«Midnight» menu here. If you see it on the menu, you can order it whether it’s 10:30AM or 3:45PM or 2:30AM. My favorite is the«Cook Out Plate» which give you one main entrée and two sides, which for me is ½ lb «Cook Out Style» burger or the Cajun style char-grilled chicken sandwich, but it doen’t really matter which sandwich I pick because all I wanted is the two sides, doubling up their corn dogs. Oh yeah, they have some dangerous milkshakes. Dangerous, because before you know it, you’ll finish your cherry cheesecake milkshake down to the last sip, and you will stab a B**** to get more! I have a strange obsession for corn dogs. I’ve sought professional help before, but the cook I was talking to just tell me to go ahead and eat more of it. I don’t think he was professional at all!
