I don’t know if they are trying to step up their class by having the female servers wear black dresses, but the«fashion» weirdly ranged from black hooker dress, to black prom dress, to black funeral dress– all worn with Crocs or some equally atrocious shoe. It doesn’t look classy. Also equally weird is how there seem to be multiple«managers» patrolling the place but none of them engage with any of the customers– not the nice ones, nor the loud drunk ones who watch UFC fights and call the losing fighters derogatory gay terms at the top of their lungs. Literally watched one manager touch her hair non stop on the floor in between serving food, so if you had a short brown hair in your food, she’s the likely culprit. Food is just ok. Beer selection is meh. Always have had really nice servers, so I guess that’s something. I just thought they looked more professional in the t-shirts and jeans and they can then wear whatever shoe they want and it doesn’t look so odd and misconstrued.

We came a couple of times. And left after the bad service. Had similar problems each visit. With different employees. We saw only males got good service. The hamburgers came with too much spice in it. And more french fries than hamburger on the plate. The size of hamburger was very small. We not order cheese, mayonnaise, onions, and bacon on it. IT came on it. The beverages came with ¾ ice. And little iced tea in it. The salad came with onions, carrots, croutons in it. We not order it in the salad. It came with it in it. And salad dressing on the top. And we ordered it on the side. We got a refund of the beverage price. The menu offers a lot of good items in it. And at moderate prices. The hostess/waitresses were white young females with blond hair. The décor is plain. The hostess/waitress had the same behavior. Talk back rude, rush to get rid of, run away from females and not volunteer to wait on them, walk away from females while talking to them and not come back stand behind the females and yell in the ear, repeat the same questions, and eat while wait on. The hostess threw the menu on the table. Waitress said not want to write down the order. Said it is not important. And we had to ask her to do it. She did it. She brought the food and asked if we want anything else. And walked away and not come back. We had to call management. To correct the wrong food. We were tired of the same problems that continued in each visit.

Watched the waitress lay her hands on a patron. Literally ridiculous. Then she said she was going to call the cops on the patron. How on earth does that make sense? All while the staff watched the waitress lose her shit. There also were no napkins and we all had finger food!

Terrible. Slow service, drink order was wrong 3 times. Cocktails were weak. Food was cold and tasteless. Pretty sure my «craft» beer was Coors light.

Sometimes this place is awesome, sometimes is just terrible. I was in on a Friday night to have dinner and drinks and everything was spot on. The service was especially good. That following Sunday I happened to come back in before seeing a movie. It took us 10 minutes before a waitress came and another 10 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered. This was with a quarter full restaurant. If you decide to roll the dice before going to the movies or to watch a game, I would say just stick with the sandwiches or the wings. Depending on the sporting event going on, you may want to completely avoid the restaurant, however. Some NFL Sundays can get pretty obnoxious. That’s when grown men, donning the jersey of another grown man flood the place and yell at the tv’s. Not really my idea of a good time. On a regular Friday night though, the place can be fun.

I had the drunkin chicken tenders with fries. They were great and filling. We sat at the bar and Anna was our server. Excellent customer service from her. We always sit at the bar. And Anna is always attentive. She didn’t miss a beat on the beer and soda refills. Definitely coming back.

Football, friends and food. Fox and hound is a great place for appetizers and drinks. We go on Sunday’s for the football games and it’s always a packed house. Our go to menu item is the nachos! Amazing!!!

Late night stop in on the way home from shopping. Ordered the Barnyard Burger. I don’t know what was going on in the kitchen that night but I asked for my egg well done it came out runny, burger lacked the bacon and other fixings I wanted. By the time they got it right and I was able to enjoy it I wasn’t hungry. The waitress on the other hand was very pleasant and tried her best to make sure I was satisfied but after having to send for different things twice I was over it!

Fox and Hound is located at the black hole of parking lots and malls called North Hills. Never have I seen such a crazy bizarre layout for getting around an open air facility. Had to rant about that. So, Fox and Hound is a sports bar but it has a pretty diverse menu that includes the typical wings and burgers but also expands to salads, ribs and complex sandwich options that they call«handhelds». Cute. The«handheld» I choose was The Cuban. Smoked pulled pork, sliced ham, Swiss, mayo, pickle chips, and spicy brown mustard on ciabatta bread and panini-ed to perfection. I added my childhood fav of tater tots as my side. Washed it down with a White Street Kolsch. Yes, this place has a beer list as long as your arm. Did I mention it was a sports bar?

Place is dark and loud. Food was good. Waitress was amazing as she served our 15 people table. Reason we walked in was to watch baseball playoffs on there 30 tvs that surround the bar. However, manager refused to turn on game sound at 7:30pm for karaōke night that started at 10pm. If you are looking for a sports bar, do not choose this one.

This place looks really nice. It has a great bar and selection of draft beers, but that’s all. I was recently in here and our table had fish tacos. Blackened cod was the fish in the tacos, and it was absolutely flavorless. It came to the table lukewarm at best. There was no seasoning, and honestly it was just terrible. Probably one of the most bland dishes I have ever tasted. Our server was friendly, and that’s all I can say. The food was just blah. It’s a good place to go have drinks, but get dinner somewhere else.

I really like their pizza. We go to trivia here and it’s large, it’s open and its loud, but we still have fun playing trivia. Sometimes we even win. It is my favorite place to play trivia.

I would say that the food is generally good for the price. The real drawback to coming here is the rather slow service. It’s very slow. Be prepared to wait for the food and then wait for the check.

So I’ve never really had their food so this review isn’t about that(although I’ve heard the food is good). I’ve been here probably 10x to get drinks with friends though and I’ve never had bad service. They have good drink specials as well but it is def true that the place can get loud, but you’re in a sports bar so that’s to be expected. Parking is not too bad either since there is a huge deck under North Hills. I would recommend.

I had a little bit of time to kill and thought I’d treat myself to a beer and a snack before meeting up with friends. I sat down at the bar and was greeted by the bartender. She knew the drink specials and I placed my order for a beer. She shared her name, Jessica. I ordered the Biergarten pretzels-I was shocked they were $ 7! Great service today but kind of an expensive snack. I do think y’all could be a little more generous with the queso!

If you want to experience North Hills as it was in the older days, well this is it… Bar is dark and loud… side room to the right is Applebee-ish. Needing to discuss some things, our foursome went to the right and had a comfortable booth. Server gal was friendly and knew just when to attend to us, as we were deep in conversation at times. For a Wednesday night, the specials didn’t appeal to our group: half price martinis or $ 5 off a bottle of wine. Our group was more in need of beer or wine-by-the-glass options. Oh well, my chardonnay was $ 5 a glass. Not sure what the beer-drinkers paid. Food-wise…two had a chicken quesadilla with cheese, corn and beans that they said was okay. «Nothing bad about it, but not amazing either». I opted for the Sweet & Spicy Bacon Flatbread. It was also okay. There was something texturally about something in it(the onions, I think) that bothered me a bit, and I don’t know why. Kind of slimy-stick-to-your-teeth weird, but just in places. The description is what drew me in: «Bacon, Thai sweet chili sauce, mozzarella, caramelized onion, sriracha, green onions, and feta. 11». Hmmm, first of all I asked for no feta as the thought of Thai anything and feta together was well, all wrong, imho, and I would also question the $ 11 price tag for what I received, but it looked pretty, and it tasted okay(sriracha really can fix most anything really). Honestly, it tasted like everything came out of a package, box or bottle and was assembled quickly. That being said, if you need a central Raleigh place to hang out, they’ve got room for you here, and our Server gal elevated our whole experience… kudos and thank yous to her!

Perfectly satisfactory food and beverage experience, with an upgreeyyyed for NFL Sunday Ticket with sound(for certain teams). Location: 3 out of 5 A tad out of the way to travel from Cary, but as recent transplants from the Chicago/Milwaukee area, we wanted to catch the game this past Sunday with fellow fans, and preferably somewhere with sound. The free parking underground is nice, and the North Hills shopping center looks to be something of interest. Décor: 3 out of 5 Run of the mill sports bar. Nothing hideous. Nothing to make you say, «wow, this place stinks.» Think the stereotypical mix of high tops, booths, regular tables, and bar seating. Ambiance for Football: 5 out of 5(or 1 out of 5), average of 3. If you happen to like a team where the sound is being played in the rear dining room, it’s a neat experience to sit with similar fans who yes, shout at the TV, think that they’re better coaches than the coaches out on the field, think they know what the player SHOULD have done, etc. You Bears fans know what I’m talking about… so bitter, mean, yet ridiculously endearing. Sigh. Since I’m a person who tends to let players who well, play in the NFL do their thing, and I don’t shout at the TV(because they can’t hear me), and I don’t try to coach from my seat because well, that’s not what I’m paid to do, watching fans regardless of team allegiance was entertaining and droll; admittedly, this sentiment would be true regardless of city or dining establishment. Selection of beers: 3.5 out of 5 Slightly disappointing selection for beer lovers, but decent for casual drinkers. While macro was the prevalent choice, they did have a few regional beers on tap like Duck Rabbit. But hey — it’s game day so 3.50 for a tall Miller Liter it is! Selection of food: 3 out of 5 Perfectly safe and perfectly satisfactory sports bar food. Wings, salads, sandwiches, fish and chips, burgers, pasta. And so on and so forth. Quality of food: 3 out of 5 I had the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. Both were a step above making them at home, but probably not as good as what I could have gotten at Panera. Then again, Panera doesn’t serve beer, so what are you going to do? The wings are ok — though I would«caution» that what they call their hottest sauce is really just what BW3 might call their«medium». Punks. Value: 4 out of 5 Not a bad value when you get the drink specials during game time. Food pricing is commensurate with any other sports bar out there. Service: 4 out of 5 For being so crowded, service was decidedly attentive for my wife and I(though I noticed not for everyone else around us for some reason). Eh, I’ll take what I can get. Overall: 3 out of 5 Perfectly fine experience. Nothing to rave about, nothing to stop me from coming back if I were meeting friends.

Yo, the onion rings are the real deal. They didn’t have a few beers on the draft list. Hot fox sandwich is really only a buffalo chicken sandwich. It contained no fox! :( Service was nice enough but there was nothing that was super outstanding about this place. Everything was just«fine», hence the three stars. You likely won’t regret coming here, but you won’t be high-fiving yourself either!
