Health First

I’ll admit it I’m a self proclaimed massage whore. Regardless how inappropriate, I’ll accept a massage from your husband, your sister, your dad — anyone. They feel so good.
There’s nothing better than walking all day around the mall and getting an acupressure foot massage from these guys. You’ll see a couple of their masseuses hanging out in on the first floor in front of Charlotte Russe with chairs like these :
You can get a massage here but if you don’t want people seeing your «oh» face at the mall, you can have your massage upstairs. Their 2^nd floor locale is by the escalators next to a nail salon. You can’t miss it, above their door is a sign that reads «Health First». This is where I like to go. I always get the 20 minute back rub and 25 minute foot massage. Their set up will remind you of a nail salon. I was really surprised how many men were in there. So many, I thought more than massages were being given out but what do you know, I was wrong.
What’s great about a place like Health First is that you can keep your clothes on for a back rub. You can come in for a simple foot rub too. If you’re on the go, it can be as little as 10 mins long. Should you want something longer, they’ll let you soak your feet in tea infused warm water. A warm blanket and pillow are also provided. It’s easy to kick back, close your eyes and enjoy your reflexology massage.
In my humble opinion, a massage from these guys has felt way more therapeutic than any of the services I’ve received at Massage Envy.
They also have tables in the back room for those who want longer massages or prefer to take their garments off. However, I don’t personally recommend it. Only because each room is divided by portable room dividers like these :
It can prove difficult to take your clothes off or on without flashing someone. Me no like. I keep my clothes on or don’t strip down all the way when I go to the back room.
Apparently, there is a dude name Tom who everyone requests. I got him once, he is good but I’ve gotten better massages from the females that work here.

Today was my first visit and it was great. Between the hellacious heat and being generally tired, I was still sore from an earlier gym session this week. I had noticed the massage kiosk in the lower mall but I didn’t really want to be on display for all the passerbys. As I was leaving the mall, I passed by their storefront location and one of the masseuse asked if I would like to step into the store for a complimentary 5 minute back rub. I was hooked after the first minute. I eventually settled on the seated upper body and foot and leg massage. The cost was $ 48.00 + tip for about 45 minutes of massage. Well worth it to me. I left feeling much better. They offered a frequent customer card which I hope to use.
The staff is friendly and very good at their job. I was surprised by how such a petite lady could work me over. They also offer full body table massage. The store is very clean and nicely furnished.
