I’ve worked with Jennifer and Alex for twenty years. Their work is flawless and their commitment to making sure the customer has exactly what he or she wants is unmatched. Honestly, they offer the best service of any business I’ve ever worked with. They’ve put blinds in four homes for me and every time they have exceeded my already high expectations.

We recently moved into a new house that had no window coverings. I had never purchased window coverings for an entire house before and I felt overwhelmed with all the options. Alex was incredibly patient and understood our desire to stay within a tight budget. It was very helpful to see what the products actually looked like in the mobile showroom. When I couldn’t decide, Alex would help steer us towards the best option given our price range and the look we were going for. When it came to installing the shades and shutters, Alex took his time making sure everything looked perfect. We love our shades and shutters and are so happy we went with Intex!

Alex of Intex did a great job. The consultation was scheduled quickly, he offered great advice, our order for roller shades came in quicker than we expected, and Alex got the shades installed quickly. The shades look great and we’re really happy with them and with our decision to use Intex Design!

Alex helped me with my very-​frustrating-​challenge with a large window with a sliding door. He provided a solid solution to the challenge. Also ended up replacing the blinds for a large kitchen window too, to make it look a lot better. Beautiful modern rolling shades were installed to both windows. I’m very happy with the end product. After purchasing a new home we quickly realized window treatments were next on the list. We received 3 estimates from 3 different company’s, with Intex Design being the final. Once Alex arrived and started showing us options that the previous 2 hadn’t, we knew who we wanted to work with.
Not only did he take the time to show us every available option, he was the only one utilizing a large mobile showroom. Walking inside and viewing the actual products helped us visualize what our home could look like.
Weeks later, Alex and another installer were out and completed the entire job in less than a half day. Family owned business, competitive pricing and great service. What more can you ask for?

While there were a few challenges with the shutters that came from the manufacturer due to the number, size and shape of our windows, as well as our desire for a quick turnaround, Alex and his team took the time to make sure the job was done right. He expressed the sentiment that he treats each job as though it is his own home and he wants it perfect. They were very flexible and made sure we understood all of our options and the fine details about each product and the installation process. The crew was friendly and neat. Highly recommended.

From the first encounter with Intex at a home show in Raleigh, then throughout design, and then even with pricing and installation, I have been continually impressed with Alex and Jennifer. As new home buyers, we were overwhelmed with the number of options for window coverings, but knew we wanted a high quality, beautiful product. Even though our first choice was always Intex, we did shop around. After working with three other major vendors in the area, I can tell you the design, quality, and even pricing (when do you get all three?) is unmatched by the competition. Not only do we have quality Hunter Douglas window coverings, but Jennifer was a tremendous help in making sure we made the right choices (color, style, function) along the way. It truly was like having an interior designer for free. And of course Alex knows the hardware inside and out.
On top of everything else, they are just nice people. We are extremely happy with the end result and will continue working with them for any other needs we have in the future.
ps. If you, like me, moved from an area where Unilocal is heavily used, you might wonder why there are no reviews out there for Intex. I noticed there are plenty of Google reviews for them (all positive).
