My favorite thing to get is the spicy chicken pannini. Very tasty and fresh. The food is prepared very quickly, even when they’re busy. Very convenient for a lunch break for students/employees at NCSU. Prices are reasonable. Although, it it seems they’ve been skimping on the portions the past couple of times I’ve been there.

Jasmin is my all time favorite lunch spot on Hillsborough Street. I’ve reviewed the other Hboro St location more thoroughly, but I just wanted to jump in and say this one tends to be less crowded and you can park right out front for free! If I’ve got limited time for lunch, this is my Jasmin of choice — how lucky that us NC Stater’s have 2 locations so close!

Called and asked for delivery. Woman in the phone said yes. Didn’t ask for my address, so I gave it to her. Ordered my food, and the lady said 10 minutes. Thought something was wrong when she didn’t take my card, name, or number, but ok. Food never arrived. No call. Thanks a lot. Horrible customer service.

Tonight me and my family went to this Mediterranean restaurant for the first time and we were gladly surprised to find very good, clean and fresh food for 3 people for $ 34 dollars. I highly recommend Jasmin for those who like Mediterranean food.

Jasmin has been one of my favorite Raleigh treats for years now, and tonight’s meal only reinforced that opinion! The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, the interior is clean, the staff is polite, and most of all, the food is delicious! My favorite dish is the gyro platter. The gyro meat is always hot, perfectly crisped on the edges, and rich and flavorful. The large flat pita flatbread(NOT pocket, thankfully!) is toasted to perfection, the fries are crispy, and the Greek salad is tossed in some magical dressing I crave for days everytime I visit. And of course their signature sauces like tzatziki and their special fry dip are awesome, too. We’re super lucky to have these guys here in town, and they’ll be one of the things I miss most when I eventually move away.

Hands Down our Favorite spot in Raleigh for Good Healthy Food, served fast. We probably eat here 3 – 4 times a week. Chicken Zaki is my favorite thing on the menu.

We ran across this restaurant in an unassuming shopping center. By the prices, I thought I would get Mediterranean fast food but was very surprised by what I received. Nothing canned here. The pita bread was freshly made and hot, the hummus was made from soaking beans overnight and freshly ground. I could taste the hints of lemon and garlic in it. I ordered the Jamsine platter with chicken. The chicken was spicy and wonderfully flavored. We also ordered an order of falafel. The falafel was made from freshly ground chick peas and fresh herbs and tasted wonderfully of the fresh herbs. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.

I went to eat at Jasmin on a Thursday evening around 5:30PM and there was a couple sitting to eat, a student ordering food and reading, and a lady who was ordering to go. I got the jasmine plate with gyro meat and 2 sides: rice pilaf and french fried. The meal costed a little over $ 8. The food tasted good and it was oily like mediterranean food should be. I noticed that the portion was pretty small for the price and I was comparing this to the restaurant«Mediterranean Grille». I will probably not go here again and instead try to find a mediterranean restaurant that serves more for their plate dishes. The food still tastes great though and the venue has great wide, non-congested seating.

I call in orders to this location every so often. The food is good. I would say that on larger call-in orders, there needs to be a manager stepping in to check that everything is accurate. I have been charged a few times for side items that they forgot to pack up for me. I’ll give them a little credit in that they try to call when they notice the mistake, but it just happens too often. And this is even before the real lunch rush begins! I’ll keep ordering for now, but please adjust!

Although I didn’t think the Jasmin experience was incredibly special, I have to say this is hands down the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had… better than even the food I had in Greece! Maybe it’s because they fused Greek with Lebanese, but whatever it is, keep doing it! I got the chicken zaki because I’m boring and like to get standard things, but wow. It actually tastes more like a flatbread pizza than a gyro, as they add a bunch of ingredients inside and then press it into clean triangular pieces(also definitely the easiest-to-eat Mediterranean food, haha). The pesto complemented the cheese in a very lovely way, considering I don’t really like cheese. The zaki itself was just big enough to satisfy me for a lunch, but if I were hungrier I would definitely get a side too. The fries are solid, but a little too salty on their own, so make sure to dip into the sauce and get a drink. The service was nice enough, but you do have to make sure you catch their attention. I loved the seating! Jasmin lined their booths with cushions and pillows in a Middle Eastern-ish style. Definitely more fun and comfortable to sit at than most cheap places. They also have a few TVs turned on to sports channels for your enjoyment. They’re open through the afternoon, so feel free to just chill and talk and watch TV while you’re at it. Also, your GPS will probably direct you to the one on Hillsborough in front of State if you just type in the name. Much easier to park at this one though.

I dont generally give 5 stars that easy and yet here I give it to Jasmin! Why? Because it exceeded my expectation at all levels. The ambiance is very nice and way better than regular self service places. Student friendly prices and lots of choices for vegetarians. In lot of ways its similar to places like Moe’s which offer nice food and ambiance at low prices. But I guess Mediterranean food is considered international/exotic cuisine so it tends to be expensive. Will definitely come back many times.

Closes half an hour earlier than posted… bad business. Adding more lines so this posts as a review… how much will it take?

Jasmin Mediterranean is superb! The food is usually very quick and taste great! I always enjoy eating the Greek Salad, or 1 of their various chicken wraps. The patio at this particular location makes for great lunch or evening dining as well. I certainly consider myself a regular customer here, and do not intend on that changing anytime soon

As is usually the case, I stumbled upon a spot that I absolutely love and have been here twice in three days already! It’s located right outside a «mall» which makes visiting Jasmines that much better. So far I’ve tried the Chicken Shawarma and the Pesto Chicken panini, both of which are YUM.

Food was pretty good. Service not that great. Walked in an nobody greeted customers for a couple mins, then finally looked up from the counter and said hey. Guess they were too busy cleaning counter to notice customers.

I walked into Jasmin and immediately thought, «this may not be what I was hoping for…» Faced with a small walk-up cafeteria counter steam table, behind which two chefs were working industriously, I was pretty sure that I wasn’t going to get the authentic Mediterranean meal that I desperately needed. I’m so glad that I ordered. The food was solid, full-flavored, and fresh on the tongue. Just-tossed Greek salad, gyro, warm fresh pita, a smooth and subtle hummus, and a delightfully chunky baba ganoush. What was also refreshing(and noteworthy) was the very welcoming and appreciative attention and service provided.

I just ate lunch at this location of Jasmin today and it was really good. I am a huge fan of Greek food and have cravings for this type of food regularly. I used to go to the location right across from NC State during college on a regular basis. The food was as good as I remembered. I have only gotten one thing at Jasmin on my visits to the restaurant because I like it so much: the chicken pesto panini. It is actually more of a pressed wrap, but it is very good. It includes chicken, tomatoes, pesto and cheese. The pesto makes the wrap really tangy. I got mine today with a side of baba ghannouj. I really like their version of baba ghannouj — it is very flavorful and the pita bread served with it tasted very fresh. My husband got the gyro and liked it as well. They have a good selection of paninis, pitas, platters and salads available. I will be sure to try the Greek salad and one of the chicken platters on a future visit. Service was friendly and we were in and out of the restaurant quickly. This is a good spot for a quick meal of Greek and Lebanese food with a variety of choices!

The food is always fresh and hot here. The pesto chicken panini is my absolute favorite and they have the best hummus anywhere. I like this location better than the other two but they’re all good.
