I have been bringing my two year old here for 6 months and I’ve been really impressed. My son loves being dropped off here and usually doesn’t want to leave– a great sign. They know him by name even though we only use them about one day every other week.

This place is safe, conveniently located, and full of fun toys, but the staff are not great, and the owner is not responsive. The woman who is usually there(the manager?) can seem unfriendly. She does not greet the kids with excitement and sometimes doesn’t acknowledge them at all, even when they repeatedly request her attention. I found the staff especially unhelpful when my son left a favorite toy there. Without anyone looking, I was told it was not there, only to discover it in lost and found a month later. No phone call to let us know or apology for being incorrect. Also, I attempted to contact the owner about track out camp, but received no response. The issue was that the supposed theme of the week was not incorporated into the day. This place is probably fine for a few hours for an easy-going 5+ child, but I would not bring little ones or leave a child there for«camp.» Again, it seems safe and can be a big help for errands, it’s just not very engaging or comforting.

Love RTK! Most have closed now, but Durant and Oberlin are still open. I love Oberlin, for its central location. The staff have always been very kind, when we have visited. You do not need to schedule ahead, but do keep in mind that some times are really busy.(Once, and only once, I went and they were to capacity. We were turned away.) The rates are fair, considering you can drop in whenever. You may purchase packages, to decrease the cost. RECOMMEND! Quite frankly, they are my go-to.
