Jason is so super nice and takes great pride in his work. He always makes you feel like you are his number 1 priority and won’t let you leave until you are 100% satisfied :-)

The experience offered at Shoops Salon is the quintessence of hair care. I’ve been a client of Jason’s for more than 2 years and couldn’t imagine having anyone else cut it. For a guy, the atmosphere is more at home than typical salons, and the free beer is just icing on the cake. I’ve recommended many friends to Jason, all of whom leave as converted believers than no other salon in the triangle will do.

Blondes beware.
I was convinced instead of a highlight to get an all over color. I expected to only be in the salon 4 hours, but was there 6 hours and left more unhappy then I have ever been with my hair.
I left with bright yellow/​orange brassy blonde hair. There was little dimension, and it looked He double processed and tried to tone it twice but I left incredibly un-​happy. My scalp was stinging when I left from all the product.
My hair has never felt so damaged. I also had to spend an additional $ 180 at another salon to color correct what has been done.
In total I spent over $ 450 just to get my hair back to normal.

I’ve become very dependent on Unilocal to tell me where I should and shouldn’t go, so I was a little anxious about coming here since there weren’t any reviews, but with a groupon in hand and a recommendation from another stylist who was unavailable, I thought I’d give this place a try — I’m SO happy I did!
Jason really took his time figuring out exactly what I wanted and gave some great suggestions along the way. I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out! He even gave me some tips for styling it on my own so that it will look great even when I haven’t just been to the salon. Whether you’re new to the area, your usual person is unavailable, or you just want to try something new, I would definitely recommend coming here.
