Phillip and his team provided the wine and champagne for our wedding reception. Phillip was so helpful when trying to taste and choose options. We received more compliments on the wine and champagne. They delivered to our reception site and were on stand-by if we needed any additional cases last minute. We are more than grateful to have his assistance, incredible service and expertise. The prices were fantastic

Absolutely love this place! I go here for tastings every once in while, and always enjoy the experience. Their selection is great — they have wines from all over the world and all price levels. Definitely stop in for a glass if you can!

These are the nicest people your going to Meet. I have been a Member of the wine feed Club for three years — my wife and i receive a red And white every month and they have never failed to please us. The store is wonderful and there are always great wines for a good price that will blow you away. I Can’t say enough good thing. Check them out as soon as your able. Thanks Philips.

I really liked this place. The staff was super helpful and very knowledgeable. It was a nice day, so my girl friends and I sat outside and enjoyed our wine flights. This would be a great date spot.

The cutest, low key place for a glass of wine! Looks like there are some more Popular ones on «tap?» The bartender/server was good with recommendations. Nice people watching from the window, too! Looks out directly to cornerstone. They have small snacks, but no kitchen, just FYI. Very cute. Wine for sale, too. And wine glasses/stoppers/etc.

Small selection of wines from around the world. They carry reds, whites, and roses. The cheese plate is just Whole foods cheese plate, but it’s a large portion. I had the flight of reds plus the cheese. The ambiance is quiet and peaceful for a Thursday night. I would come back to try some more wines! You can also buy some bottles to take home with you.

Great place with a friendly set of owners. Every visit they really seem to enjoy acting as a personal sommelier. Ie they’ll listen to what flavors your like, what you’ve enjoyed in the past and make a selection. I believe they also offer delivery which for the right clientele is genius in this area.

By far, the friendliest, most hospitable service in a wine store or bar you’ll find in Downtown Raleigh — believe me, I frequent them all — and TWF is my favorite. The Phils have extensive wine knowledge, but are happy to share in a really welcoming setting. Grab a seat at the bar and try whatever’s on tap and get them to tell you about it!

Writing this review makes me wish I was actually at The Wine Feed enjoying a delicately smooth glass of one of their many carefully selected wines. The atmosphere is warm, yet intriguing, taking you to a comfortable place where you can easily escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. And, if you don’t want to escape too much, there is even a covered patio out front where you can sit and watch passers-by. The Wine Feed is not just a great place to have a glass of wine either. The wine bar also sells miscellaneous specialty items that you can’t easily find elsewhere, which make great gifts for a dinner party or other special event. Speaking of special events, The Wine Feed also hosted an unforgettable special event for my work, which is how I learned of the place. Phillip and his team were organized, friendly and made learning about wine fun and interactive for my co-workers and me. I love this place! *Tip: Try the Fantinel Brut Rose sparkling wine

The Wine Feed is fantastic. I had the pleasure of working with Phillip to choose wines for my wedding. Not only did he help us pick the ABSOLUTE best wines at the best price, but also delivered them to the venue for us. Our guests loved our wine, we picked the perfect quantities, and I’ve gone back to sit and sip, as well as purchase a few bottles to go. More importantly, this is a great friendly venue, stylish, and the selection is great. I cannot say enough great things about this place.

For the simple essence of what this is — a straightforward modern clean space to experiment with wines and accompaniments, from curators — I loved it for a relaxing environment to relax. Loved the featured Willamette Valley Pinot Noir on tap. This is an example of how simplicity works. No overly orchestrated décor. Refreshing.

Place is awesome. The guys who run it are super knowledgeable and probably the nicest guys you will ever meet. They carry an amazing moscato and sometimes have specialty drinks you can try at the bar. Located right on Glenwood, it’s a great place to hang out before or after dinner.

Disclaimer: This review is being written at the Wine Feed a couple of glasses in. Also, I am the beer drinker in the family, but the Wine Feed makes me love some wine. Seriously, I love this place. It is quality over quantity. Everything I’ve had here has been very good. If you aren’t sure what you want, they have a few different flights you can choose in order to sample some. If you like it, you can take a bottle home, but get it while you’re there because it may not be there next time. If you still have doubts, trust the folks pouring your beverages. Philip is great at some dealers choice pours. He also does a great wine cocktail as Mrs. B has had him concoct a few of those for her. They also have some meats, cheeses, and snacks if you need a little something to go with the wine. My personal favorite are the marcona almonds(which it might be time for).

I attended the Spirit of Spain wine class and all I can say is AMAZING! I learned so much from Phil and he introduced me to a few good new wines that I am loving.

Ordered: I ordered the 2015’s First Rose Flight for $ 10.00 and also had the Glenwood Breeze wine cocktail for $ 9.00. My favorite wine out of the Rose Flight was the 2014 Domaine de la Bastide«Figue.» This was a perfect blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah. My least favorite was the 2014 Ostatu Cabernet Sauvignon which to me tasted very chalky and earthy. The Glenwood Breeze is a perfect summer drink! Anything with pineapple and cucumber undertones is perfect in my book. Establishment: I drove by this twice when I was trying to locate it! I thought the whole building was a hotel. Once my Waze app got it together I saw the little logo sign and found parking. Being from Baltimore I was worried that I wouldn’t find parking, however, unlike Baltimore I didn’t have to scream and run after a parking spot – there were plenty. Inside was super clean, fresh and crisp. The store was adorable and accessible with enough room to venture around. The whole space was inviting and bright. The bar was up-to-date and organized. I was surprised by how everything was so nicely merchandised and organized. Even the menu was easy to read and enjoy. Employees: I had the pleasure of meeting both Philip and Phillip. Both know what they are doing and are tremendously knowledgeable of wine and travel. They both are exceptionally educated on wine – they totes know their wine history. These are the type of people that I can sit and listen to for hours. If I didn’t have a plane to catch I would have done so. Fun Facts: Not only do they deliver wine to your door in certain areas, they will bring wine to the Videri Chocolate Factory! Now I know what I will do my next visit! Organic chocolate and wine, amazing! They also have aboard wine tastings and classes that you can sign up for in which the two owners will take you on a lifetime experience! I wish I had the time and money to do so! I am still contemplating the Tuscany trip they have coming up, very tempting. Wine Feed has a cool wine club feature too. I believe there is four different wine club features; Relax is $ 25 a month, Inspire is $ 70 a month, Revive is $ 35 a month and Savor is $ 40 a month. Being in the wine club gets you two bottles of great wine(believe me these two know how to select their wines), recipes and food paring information and discounts on re-orders of wine(wines that have been featured in the club). It is a great deal! If I was a local I would total be a apart of the Inspire and maybe even the Savor(if you can even be in more than one?!).

We had a brief stay at the Hampton Inn Suites due to a house fire earlier this year and we were thankful we stayed there because we stumbled upon one of the best wine bar’s we have ever stepped foot in! We have visited several(okay…we might be regulars) times and each time to be greeted, helped, served, and suggested with great service by great people. Phillip and Philip really bring a great vibe to a wine bar, not to mention they are both very personable. Do not think that just because it is a wine bar, it is expensive, they have wine on tap/bottle that is $ 6 a glass(of course it can go up from there) and those $ 6 glasses are not bad wine. The guys really want people to enjoy wine and not feel wine has to be «out of budget» to anyone. They have several price points in their store and many of them are under $ 20 for GOOD wine. The Wine Feed also offers classes to educate and enjoy the experience of wine. We have taken two classes and enjoyed each one(wine & cheese, and cabernet). It’s not the type of class that you feel you need to «know» anything beforehand and they welcome questions of all kinds. We joined the wine club and look forward to at LEAST one monthly visit to pick up our wines. After the first wine club we learned that the wine club is a great value, there are four options depending on your budget and taste. Plus as wine club members you have special perks like tastings, events, and discounts. I honestly cannot say enjoy positive things about this place and their staff.

I love, love, love The Wine Feed. I went on Unilocal yesterday to read my review and shocker I never wrote one I have no idea how that happened. I’ve visited The Wine Feed more than a few times now and I have never been disappointed. Every time I stop in I end up having such a great time I can’t wait to come back. Part retail store part wine bar they have everything that you need. You can also order cheese plates to snack on while you’re sipping your wine. The Wine Feed is by far my favorite place to grab a glass of wine. The wine flights that they offer are so good and I always end up finding a new vino to take home with me. The folks running this place(otherwise known as the 2 Phil’s) are incredibly personable and friendly I would feel totally comfortable stopping in by myself knowing I’m always in good company. No matter what wine you are looking for if they don’t have it they will be able to suggest something similar or order it for you. The store is all modern décor with a fancy white bar to enjoy your wine at. Don’t let the upscale look fool you this place is as laid back as it gets. I just wish they stayed open later on weekends it’s the only place on Glenwood South I would want to be at past 10pm. Check out their website they always have tastings and different events going on. Take a date, meet your girlfriends, or stop in pre or post dinner you won’t be disappointed.

New space, new face, this newly opened wine shop is just starting to hit their stride! The shelves have been filled and I stopped in a for a S. American wine class which was excellent. Six pours with a slide show full of knowledge and facts about the wine growing regions and wineries presented during the tasting. And at a pretty decent price, $ 20 for the class. The space at the Wine Feed is modern, elegant and upscale providing a classy place to choose a bottle or grab a glass of vino. But the guys running the place(the Phil’s) are easy-going and accessible, a nice combination. So check out Raleigh’s newest wine shop, they’re conveniently located(for me) right at the base of the new Hampton Inn hotel!
