I’ll start by admitting I love Irish/English style pubs. That said, the only thing I didn’t like about this place is I don’t live next door. If I did, I’d become a permanent fixture. The service was superb,(which actually made the evening) they had Murphy’s on tap(along with many other offerings, but Murphy’s is my weakness), the food was excellent, and the music duo which was the reason we went, was very good as usual. Wow. Was that a run-on sentence or what? But seriously, what more could you want for a great night out? I had the Guinness burger, which was not at all what I expected. Not a ‘burger’ in the american classic sense. A slice of «Guinness» cheese atop a delicious, perfectly cooked, beef patty on a bed of mashed, smothered with gravy and topped with onion srtings/rings and scallions. I finished the whole thing even though I was full and should have stopped half way through.(I promise to exercise extra tomorrow). We also enjoyed the pigs n blanket app of sausages wrapped in a pastry. The décor was woodsy pub style perfect, the lighting in the bar area dim, just how I like it. Just wish they were located closer.

Visited for the first time for dinner. My server(Maire) was great. She constantly checked on me and made it her business to make sure I was taken care of. Great drink specials on Crown Royal. The wait for my food wasn’t too long but when I received my food, its hot! That’s a great thing. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I sat near a exit door, that was constantly opened allowing cold on me while I ate. I’ll definitely be back.

Well I had high hopes for this place. Reading about the chef made me excited. Get there tonight, they’re out of one of the draft beers I wanted, out of the soup of the day I wanted, and out of the jalapeño bottle caps I wanted. Ok, you don’t have anything I want to order. SOOOO, I get fish and chips. I like cocktail sauce with mine. I asked for some and guess what? They had none, but fortunately somebody knew how to make some. Get my dinner and the fish was fried perfectly, but the breading was so freaking BLAND. If the breading had been seasoned, that food would have been amazing and made up for all problems in the beginning. My date had shepherd’s pie and it was just bleh. Not terrible, not great. Our server disappeared once we got our food. We had to get up and find her to pay the bill… we found her laughing and socializing at the bar with her coworkers. Trust when I say I’m not planning on going back any time soon.

I’ve been to Trali several times, as it is walking distance away. Pretty good food, but lacking much of a bar/pub feel. Much more of chain Irish restaurant feel than that of a pub. The boxty was quite good, as were the mussels. The patio seating is pretty, though again lacking in the Irish pub feel. Check out the drink specials – from whiskey to beer, there are often some good ones.

Big fan of their food, I like the boxtys — I prefer corned beef. I have also had the corned beef and cabbage and really liked it. Thursday nights they have a $ 5 whiskey special. And of course like any decent irish bar, they can appropriately pour a Guinness.

After being to Dublin several times over the years and spending some extensive time in Irish pubs, gotta say this place was pleasingly good as far as beer and food. The décor was pretty spot on save for a black painted ceiling. A healthy, seriously decent selection of drafts showing somebody cares about calling this place Irish instead of the usual American swill being the featured brew. Food menu was also extensive with many of the pub grub things you’d find in Ireland like stews and potato croquettes. The Irish soda bread with salmon and capers along with the Scotch eggs were divine. So were the croquettes and wings offered breaded or naked for purists like me. Super friendly service too. Although they were out of Murphy’s Stout the staple of Cork, they did have an excellent pour of the Dublin black stuff and even had a British pub ale Boddington’s on draft. Quite impressive to this world traveling road warrior. Would go here again anytime. Worth finding if you know what real Irish pubs are like.

Visited for the first time yesterday, Halloween day, for lunch. I ordered a corned beef Reuben and it was AWESOME! Service was very good, food was excellent, and the price for our meal was very reasonable. I will definitely be back!

Came for brunch because reviews were great. The service was average, and the menu sounds great, but horrible food. None of us liked it. My french toast was on store bought cinnamon swirl bread, my eggs couldn’t have been real, and the fruit was going bad. My dad’s waffle would have been bigger and better from a hotel to go area. My boyfriend’s omelet was undercooked and his«home fries» were also undercooked, hard and cold. Sounds like other meals might be okay. Avoid brunch! We should have known because it was fairly empty for 11:30 on a Sunday.

Sat at the bar. Never offered a menu. Never checked on. Finally got a beer. Nobody asked if I wanted food. I closed out. Don’t waste your time here. No stars actually.

Been here twice now, and both times my server has been wonderful, the meal has been great, and the beer selection has been a perfect pairing. I’ve found it to be one of the better places in the area to go grab a beer, have some food, and have a great conversation with some good friends. It’s not too loud at all, which I like. Can’t state enough how great service was. Friendly and fun as well as getting everything to us in a timely manner. We’ll definitely be back.

Stop in for a pint… Stayed for the Brie and corned beef! A few of us were on the prowl to find some new eats. And came across this place! Being the good Irish lass I had to try it and very glad I did. We started with some pints and a lovely cocktail called a Celtic Sunrise(I must add. It was omnomalicious) Then a round of starters that included some potato wedges covered with pulled pork. Cheese and onion straws and a lovely Brie and strawberry plate. Then came out the main dishes! If everything there was as good as the Corned Beef Reuben then it is worth multiple trips!

Trali offer’s your typical pub food and drinks with a great atmosphere and friendly service. I met a friend there on a Monday night and was pleasantly surprised by their $ 3 local pints deal. They had a good selection of beers and our waitress was amazing. She was friendly, checked in often and was able to recommend different brews and foods. We also ordered a boxty, similar to a potato fritter, made with shredded potatoes, flour milk and served with scallions and sour cream. You are also able to add meats to the dish; the corned beef is great! They serve a sweet and creamy whole grain mustard and horseradish sauce on top, delicious! Trali’s the perfect spot for a hang out with friends and they’ve got great drink specials. Definitely recommend this quaint spot tucked inside of Briarcreek.

Food — really good. The Churchill Brie appetizer was great. ½ price bottles of wine on Wednesdays. But the service was crappy. :| Update: Owner contacted me and apologized. That alone would make me go back. We did enjoy the food, as I mentioned. Bartender and hostess were friendly. Perhaps the waitress was having a bad night? Adding a star to the review for the Owner’s show of concern.

For someone who had never been here before, we sure picked a crowded time to try it out(around 7:30 on a rainy Saturday night). We were seated in the room to the left of the door and the whole room filled up about the same time. I really felt for the Servers. They had their hands full. Considering such, they did a remarkable job. The whole place seemed like a well-run machine… from the folks delivering drinks, to the ones bringing food, they were all hustling! Food: Husband decided on the Guinness Burger which they describe as Grass fed local beef burger, topped with Guinness porter cheese and onion rings on a bed of mash with Guinness gravy for $ 12. He loved this giant plate of richness(see pic!) Especially admired the gravy, so I had to try it. Was very good… my first instinct was it had a touch of cinnamon in it. Different! Wanting something a bit lighter, I opted for the Chipotle Black Bean Burger(minus the mushrooms), with Mixed Greens. The Burger was delicious, but fell apart almost immediately. I took this as my omen to discard the extra carbs so I ditched the bun and ate it with a fork. Delicious and saved myself a couple hundred calories perhaps. The greens with the balsamic-type dressing I chose were super tangy, almost spicy. Nice contrast to the«burger». The menu had a pretty large selection of what you would expect at both an Irish Pub and an American Pub. I can see why they were so packed.

I’ve been here on 3 – 4 occasions, on different days and times of the week and I am confident in saying that the food and the service is just OK. Nothing to write home about. If you need a place to watch soccer or are dying for some shepards pie, then this is probably it for Brier Creek, but don’t expect to walk away from the experience feeling blown away or anything.

I contacted Trali about becoming our home to watch Tottenham Hotspurs matches on the weekends. I spoke with the manager Bill on a Tuesday afternoon and after a couple emails and one meeting they were able to open their doors early that Saturday to welcome us home. The staff at Trali went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They opened an hour early and after a little glitch with Time Warner Cable we were able to cheer on our Spurs. The kitchen even brought us out some free food to enjoy during the match. Plenty of staff to wait on our large group and the kitchen got all the food out in a timely manner, hot and delicious. Everything was top notch and look forward to many more matches at this fine establishment. Once victory was ours the staff even took the time to hang our flag and make it official. Cheers to the staff at Trali!

Went to lunch here today. They have a carving table, and the person I was with ordered off of that. He had steak tips, fried cauliflower, fried cod, bangers and some fried peppers(sorry I don’t know if this dish had a name or not) along with sweet potato fries. He said his steak tips were very tender and did not taste like a cheap cut of meat, but more like a steak. He thought the rest of his food was just as good. I ordered chicken nachos. The nachos were served piping hot and smothered in pico de gallo and cheese. The order was so large that I took half home with me. We will definitely go back and maybe I will be braver and try some more authentic food!

The family came in for brunch after Sunday mass, and we were all pleasantly surprised. Two of us ordered the Belgian waffles served with whipped cream, berry jubilee, bacon and eggs. One ordered the vanilla and cinnamon swirl french toast served with home fries and bacon. Another ordered the smoked salmon bagel platter. We all couldn’t wait to gobble up our breakfast since we hadn’t yet eaten anything all morning. When our food was served, they told my DH who ordered the Belgian waffle that their waffle maker was not working well and if he would like to make a substitution. They brought his dish out with the vanilla and cinnamon swirl french toast and extra bacon slices which we thought was their way of making up for the delay in our food coming out and for the miss on the Belgian waffle. The food was really good and filling. When our waiter brought us the bill, he also told us that they comped my DH’s meal. I appreciate that Trali did that without us even asking. We’ll definitely come back.
