Short version: I had a battery replaced by these guys. They did a great job and were cheaper than the other two places that quoted me prices. The Story: I went into Crabtree to get the battery on my Tissot watch replaced, figuring that there are plenty of jewelry places in there… There’s bound to be one that can replace the battery. The first store I encountered started with a K. The folks there were very nice, and quoted me a price of $ 30 to replace the battery. I decided to check around and see if this could be accomplished a little bit more cost-effectively. I then moseyed over to a nearby store whose name starts with a Z. The man there was very nice as well, but said that he didn’t have the proper tool with which to remove the back from my watch. He directed me to Treasure Isle. I walked into Treasure Isle and handed them my watch and asked them if they could replace the battery. They had it done in a matter of a couple minutes, and I was outta there for $ 10. While the guy was working on it, I asked him a few questions about the longevity of the o-ring that keeps the watch water resistant. He seemed very knowledgeable, and also seemed happy to educate a consumer. The second store that I had received a price for doing this was a jewelry store at North Hills(this was on a different day than the trip to Crabtree)… They wanted $ 18 to replace the battery or $ 30 to replace the battery and leak test the watch. Needless to say, this is where I’ll be going for battery replacements for the foreseeable future. Half to 1⁄3 the cost, and the same end result.

Never been here before, but came in to get my watch fixed. He was very nice, happy to answer any questions I had, and fixed it in 15 minutes for only $ 10. Win in my book.

I love this place. It is the only place that I trust to replace batteries and take out watch links. I recently took my polar heart rate monitor watch to get repaired. Originally Polar told me that it would be $ 45 to repair. Treasure island fixed the same issue for $ 10 and got a battery all for $ 15 grand total.

Very friendly and VERY helpful. I brought my ten year old Citizens watch into Treasure Isle(because of their Unilocal reviews) and I was not disappointed. My watch was in need of repair, I just didn’t know to what extent. The gentleman that helped me took a look at my watch and informed me that they could not work on Citizens watches and I would have to send it back to the manufacturer. He then said«let me take a look at that for a second», I was not very hopeful as the dial that adjusts time had been stuck for weeks. The gentleman studied the problem and was able to solve the issue without having me send it to Citizens. It works great and best of all… the man didn’t charge me a dime for his help! I will definitely revisit this store in the future and would recommend everyone take a walk over by the food court in Crabtree and visit Treasure Isle!

I love these jewelers! I have worked with them three times so far. 1.) Rhodium plating — they do an amazing job! 2.) My engagement ring setting has cracked 2x. The first time I took it to another jeweler. It soon cracked again. The second time I took it to Treasure Isle. They explained why it was cracking and fixed it. It’s been going strong for two years now. 3.) I had a diamond fall out of a pair of earrings. I took the earrings on Saturday night. They found out why the diamond had fallen out, repaired the issue, replaced the diamond(in 30 minutes) for $ 80 I will go no where else!

Waited like 7 years to have a sentimental ring repaired. I brought it here, I believe it was Scott who helped me out. The work was done quickly and inexpensively. I can’t believe I went so long without a favorite ring. If anything else needs repaired I will definitely bring it here as soon as possible!

I procrastinated for months to get my wrist watch battery replaced. When my DH bought one of those smart phones and needed to get the band adjusted, we looked to Unilocal for a reputable watch repairer. The positive reviews sent us to Treasure Isle, and they were no joke. The wait was about 5 min, and the repair and battery replacement took less than 10 min. The cost was reasonable as well. So now we know where to go for all of our jewelry repairs.

My water-resistant Swiss watch needed a new battery and after a ridiculous debate with the watch repair person at Sears(1 star, but why bother, they’re closing in January.), I sought out some recommendations. Treasure Isle was the top of everyone’s list. Ten minutes and ten bucks later I have a new battery changed by a lovely, cheerful gentleman.

Walked in, asked how long it would take to fix my husband’s watch clasp. He said«two minutes.» Cost:$ 5.00. He was done in one minute and just the nicest guy. I wasn’t upsold on any other product or warranty nor did I feel like I overpaid. Hard to find an honest jeweler. I found one and I will be back.

Took my watch that wasn’t keeping time in fearing the worse. They put a battery in and said see if this fixes it. I had to insist to pay.(I also took a watch to have a link removed). They barely charged me for both services. In and out in 5 minutes. Would recommend them in an instant!

Kay Jewelers was going to charge me $ 25 and take a week to fix my necklace. Treasure isle completed the job in 5mins for $ 15!

My bride had a jewelry piece she had bought more than a dozen years ago that literally fell apart about a year ago. We brought it here to be repaired. Derek took care of us and the turnaround time was not only quicker than we expected, but also much less expensive than we expected while the piece itself was back in new condition. We were very happy!

So I have a very adorable, albeit old, pair of glasses that I have been babying along because getting new glasses is expensive and annoying. About 4 months ago, the frame around the right lens broke. I took them to my eye doctor and he recommended I get them repaired with the guys at Treasure Isle if I didn’t want to buy new ones since the frame really only needed to be welded back together. I stopped by and dropped off my frames and they were completed that same day for the cost of $ 25 dollars and was assured that they would repair them again for free if they broke in the same place. They also somehow sandblasted off super glue residue that I left on when I foolishly tried to repair them myself without batting an eyelash at my stupidity. I was so pleased I brought in a bracelet to be repaired the following week. They told me that they could provide the piece that I needed(a part of the clasp fell off), but it would be a lot cheaper for me to go to Michael’s and buy it myself and bring it in. They further astounded me by announcing that they would be happy to do the repair work with the piece that I bought cheaper and from a different store. I didn’t think any business did this kind of thing anymore. Hooray for looking out for your customers! I highly recommend this place for their honesty, pricing and quality of work.
