Totally wonderful shop for athletes, beginners as well as elite athletes (in fact I met the 2015 USA National Sprint Triathlon Champ there). Patient, helpful and practical, especially at helping me make the best choices on technology and equipment on a budget (they are NOT like other stores that are just pushing for you to buy the most expensive brands). If you like fast, affordable and expert (especially the complicated problems other shops avoid), they have the best bike shop in Raleigh by far.

I will never purchase running shoes anywhere BUT here from now on. I went in last week and explained that I’ve been having pain in my feet and wanted to start with new shoes before going to see a doctor. Jon, the owner is EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgable. (I love supporting independently owned businesses where the owner is truly invested) He was able to fit me for custom made orthodics in the store (they only cost $ 90 but compare in quality to the ones you spend $ 500 on from a podiatrist.) Jon really knows how to fit people to the right shoes they need based on their feet and running styles. I highly recommend starting here when looking for new running shoes or anything triathlon related.

I had a great experience buying my bike at Tri Life. Jon the owner was super knowledgeable, and very helpful when picking out my bike. He genuinely had my best interest at heart. He was patient with my beginner lack of knowledge and was great with my daughter in the store. I highly recommend this store.
